The USPS has never lost any of the packages I have shipped or have been scheduled to receive. I consider the USPS an invaluable resource and quite a bargain as well. ln addition, I have had perfect service in regard to stopping mail while away from my home or business. FYI, I utilize the USPS website for almost all of my needs. (Please support the USPS as a US Government service organization and please don't let it become a private venture.)

The people in mill valley need a lesson in common courtesy. Telling an employee they should lose their job because management understaffed is highly rude and uncalled for. You can learn more about it at the neighbouring Civic Center building! It would have been better if FLW Foundation had some postcards for sale, and so that fans of the famous architect could buy souvenirs to support the foundation and post office services! Seems like a BIG miss, when all other FLW-designed buildings would offer this all over the country.

Now all my packages are always pre-paid since it's all stuff I've sold on ebay so most of the time I just need to drop them off at the counter, but I'm not gonna act like I haven't stumbled in holding multiple boxes with labels that still need to be attached and I don't have any tape... Doesn't seem too bad until you forget which label goes to which box. I just have to pull out my smartphone and consult with my eBay app, matching each printed label to its corresponding package even though at this point I know it's well after 5 pm... See, its at this moment you think to yourself, "Wow, their patience is just like what yelp thinks of this review; Pretty epic." That's also my que from yelp to "STFU". It means I've "typed too much and should probably go to sleep, it's 4am"... If I go to sleep now I might be able to get up early enough to make it to the post office before 5pm! She knew everything and took very careful steps to make sure everything was filled out correctly and properly before we mailed it. She was so instrumental and getting that envelope in the mail today. What a wonderful representative for the Postal Service. And to think that she remembered me being a customer years ago when I lived in the city. What a memory and a great smile and a welcoming attitude.

However, most of the time, they only have one mail clerk at a time and everyone has to wait in one line. Once in a while they do open two terminals but rarely. The service one gets is helpful and pleasant, but I wish the place didn't close for one hour mid-day for clerks' lunch breaks. I always forget they close from 12-1 and I end up waiting or going somewhere else. For a busy College Avenue area amidst small businesses, restaurants, markets, a middle school, elementary school and a community college, this little postal office operates like it is in a quiet, suburban, unpopulated area. But the place does get the work I need done. I just have to remember their work hours and beat the lines.
