The staff members could use some training in customer service. The lady who assisted me was super rude towards me but extremely pleasant towards another customer (who she wasn't even assisting). The other customer was the same race as herself, so it felt a little like reverse racism. Will not be coming back to this location. This is the second time I have been treated poorly. I never realized this post office was right here. It's easier to get to when I am leaving work than the one by my house - I either need to make this weird U-turn on 17-92 or drive all the way to Montgomery for the self service kiosk. Popped in, got the stuff mailed out and was out the door in under 10 minutes at 4pm that afternoon. Great service and then afterwards found out they also have a self service kiosk which I will definitely use in the future. read more

I'm only reviewing because there is another review which was almost identical to my experience so I'm assuming it was the same man who has no value for customer service. There was a very long line at around 11 am and only one person working. A man (maybe manager?) came out and asked if anyone was picking up packages, walked out, came back and asked if anyone was paying with card. I was second in line and no one said anything so I tried to speak up but he cut me off and said I'm going to start at the front. And then Instead of just helping out at another register he was taking people out to the card machine so they could use that instead. Every single time I have gone to another branch and needed to tape a package or had to tape a ripped label, the clerks have done it no problem. This man tells me they don't have tape so I need to buy my own. You expect me to believe a post office doesn't have tape?! I told him they do it for me every time and he replies with well they shouldn't because they only have priority tape. What a tall tale for 20 cents worth of tape. I regret not leaving and spending that $4 on gas driving to a different post office instead. I will be driving out of my way so I never have to return to this branch again. read more

I absolutely love how they always have my packages ready and there's never a problem, I get alot of orders (online shopping problem lol) and never got them late, they have my deliveries in my PO Box on time it's never delayed. The Postal Service was my favorite band when I was 15, and the normal postal service is my favorite actual service because it sends physical mail and not emotional heart feels. The best part of the post office is the fact that you can read the entirety of Leo Tolstoy's 1,440 page novel "War and Peace" right when you're standing in line! It's only since the DMV I have been able to catch up on some light reading. The personnel are always friendly, and even though it's Christmas time, they say "no guarantees!" I love a little mystery. I wish my visits to the post office in Waterford were as pleasant as my visits to this location. I have been to this office a few times since it's right near Rollins. There is never a line! Can you believe that?! Every time I go, James takes care of me. He acts like he has known you for years! Today he shook my hand and congratulated me on graduating and asked me about my future plans. He is a veteran and talked to my fiancé for a few minutes about being in the army and they discovered they went to basic training at the same base! He is so personable and makes going to the post office an enjoyable experience. read more

The staff is painfully slow. There is always a line. They open at 9am and close at 5pm so the only time you can go is during your lunch break. Hopefully you have a long lunch break, because it's not uncommon to wait well over 15 minutes in line. Honestly, there is one thing this post office is really good for though: if you have children, it's a great place to take them so they can start learning about how inefficient government services are and how poorly employees perform when you take away all incentives to succeed read more

Complaint about the postal service in Winter Park. I recently had an expensive package delivered to my mail cluster box. Anybody who has ever had a cluster box knows that when a package is delivered, the mailperson is to put the key to the package box inside the general mailbox for you. Well, I got the USPS notification that it was delivered, but no key. I left a note inside my mailbox saying the package was delivered and but I hadn't go the key, and got no response. So, yes, I am accusing the mailperson of stealing my package. Luckily, the vendor was awesome and compensated me appropriately. USPS = crooks. Also, forget about getting anybody on the phone here. They literally will say, in the office, "ah, they'll stop calling eventually" if the phone continuously rings. If it was any other business, and not a government subsidized business like USPS, they all would be fired read more

This PO is so top-notch, as are all of its postal carriers. The team here is so hard-working, attentive, and goes above and beyond to take care of its customers and constituents. It doesn't matter whether I am inside the post office and am working with someone there to mail something, or am interacting with one of our neighborhood carriers--I am always so impressed by the dedication, kindness, and genuine desire to do everything they can to serve this community. The second time in 3 months that a parcel has never made it to my house! This has never happened to me before in prior places that I have lived in the country. The first time Amazon 3 months ago, said the package had been delivered, with the key left in my mailbox. No key. This time I ordered clothing from a quick and efficient company to be told the package was left at my front door on the day of the expected delivery. No package! Totally pissed off and wary about ordering anything on line again. You go to the post office and they just give the usual speel about " well this is what the postal worker noted". This post office is the first one I have been to that didn't allow me to get protective covers for my shipping label. With being in the middle of hurricane season it is imperative that these are provided with shipping. The woman at the desk was rude and unkind. Although this is a government job and the people working give zero cares to the customers needs, I think that they need a training on respect and policies. read more

I just came here to return something I purchased on Amazon. Upon arrival, I stood in line and waited my turn. When a post office employee was free, I started to approach him and he said "uh oh she was next" while shaking his finger at you. Mind you, the lady that was "next" was busy filling out a form at the desk and not standing in line. After she was finished, I came up to the counter and told him I had to return this box (I had the shipping label and all). He told me I had to tape the shipping label on myself and they do not provide tape. However, he could sell me tape. I'm sorry that you couldn't provide me with TWO PIECES OF TAPE. No wonder why the post office is going out of business. read more
