This is the most adorable little old-fashioned post office. It is something to just walk into to…read moresee the old gold colored post office boxes with key holes. The people who work at this post office are generally lovely. The Oakland Post Master is a cantankerous, angry man, who if you ask a question of him, raises his voice at you and starts to "preach" at you, depending on what question you asked. He apparently has been at the Oakland Post Office for quite a while and feels like he has the right to dictate local politics and to express his opinion on any topic. If I see him at the window, I say nothing, get my business done, and try to leave before he can go off on me. Don't get me wrong, everybody else that works there is 100% lovely. He is not frequently at the window, thank goodness. Otherwise it is a quaint, customer oriented, and kind place to be. I recommend it if he is not there.

That always bugged me since this is tax supported service and one that is being forced upon me. They are closed a lot more then they seem open. The lady working now is better and if it keep up, I'll write a new review with 4 stars. 5 stars for the cuteness effect.. small little Post Office situated in a gorgeous town with many large live oak trees and dirt roads. I love walking up to the post office with my girls to get the mail. I hate having to worry about if my mailbox is overstuffed because I forgot to pick it up and the hassle with having to know what carrier is shipping my online orders. USPS doesn't like and won't accept packages from FED EX or UPS. Pros - this post office is never super busy at holiday time so I can ship without the massive lines and headaches.

It was an enjoyable drive (and located nearby Yellow Dog Eats if you want lunch while running errands). The building looked like the kind of USPS you'd find in a small town Hallmark movie. There was plenty of parking. It was pretty standard on the inside. There are packaging supplies available along with cards and gift cards. The employee and his manager were both really nice people. I can't remember the employee's name, but he is bilingual. He was patient with my questions and I appreciated that he didn't toss my package into the pile (like I have seen in other mail carriers locations). I was also pleasantly surprised to see it wasn't as costly as I thought to ship my package! I'm glad that this is now my closest USPS and can count on an enjoyable experience for my future visits.

The guy who saw me who is a black man maybe in his 30s (if I knew his name I would share it because this was really kind of him) He asked how my day was and I had just sort of had it by then and I was like "you know it's been really awful honestly lol" just kind of needing to say it someone. And he could not have been nicer or more human. It was not uncomfortable or weird. J He was just genuinely like I mean I get it and I hope it gets better. Then I pulled out my package to find out I hadn't fully packaged it, which added to my not so great day. And he just took it from me and said d"don't worry about it. I'll take care of this for you one less thing for you to deal with today" and that little interaction on the day I was having really did mean the world to me. I will be learning his name in future and the gesture will not be forgotten.

Great local and convenient Post Office…read more I enjoy coming here to drop off my packages. There are wait times depends on the day and time you go. Plenty of in stock shipping supplies for your needs. If something is that there, you can alway ask the staff. Staff are friendly and willing to help with anything you need. Spacious area so you aren't cramp. Due to Covid, they do have tape marks on ground for distancing.

When they never attempted to deliver the package as requested and paid for. Nor was the requested redelivery made. Nor the promise of next day delivery by the post master or the manager of the Hiawassee Florida postal office. At this point it's been a month later and the package has not been delivered. This is clear evidence of mail obstruction.

My doctor's office told me that they didn't carry the vaccine, so I'd have to go elsewhere to get the shots. I called around to various places in Orange County and no one seemed to carry the darn things. One of my friends recommended that I try the local health departments, and after being informed that Orange County didn't carry the vaccine either, I decided to try neighboring Seminole County. Fortunately for me, they did! I didn't have high hopes for a health department - I thought it would be dirty, run-down, and staffed by very unpleasant people (I was basing this totally on past experiences I've had...). I could've have been more wrong! This location is not only clean but the staff is friendly and helpful. I waited less than 10 minutes both times I went in (it's a series of 2 shots) and the nurses were so nice! The price for the shots was reasonable and while I was there I asked about some other services they offer. They offer dental services, all sorts of immunizations, and school physicals. Everything is priced really affordably, so if you don't have health insurance and need some of these services you should definitely give them a call. The best part is that you don't have to be a resident of Seminole County. They take Orange Co. people too!

I loathe visiting this office. The woman who takes the blood is incredible. She is great at distracting my child from what is occurring. She is cheerful and friendly. The health advisors have always been average to friendly on these visits. I have no complaints for them either. So I grade two stars as these women redeem the front desk to a minor degree. The Sanford office is very warm and friendly all the time and I will permanently switch to their location after today's visit here.
