If my recipient does not receive the mail, I will have serious concerns. I've had multiple prior instances where tracked packages handled by this location were never sent, as the tracking showed it never left the facility. Surprisingly good service in the eyes of someone relocating from out of state. I wish their tracking (especially delivery exceptions) was better, but somehow I do not believe that is location specific. Tough the website said a package would be redelivered it was indeed waiting for me at the post office, and it was super easy for them to find it as well. read more

I'm not even pulling out of the lot until I finish writing this... I went to pick up my mail and didn't get any mail, but I did get robbed! Jorge, some guy named Hector or Henry (H whatever)and a manager without any name shown: When I discovered that my packages delivered today weren't in the box it was because it had been closed because I hadn't paid it because I don't really get mail. I just get the very occasional packages. So I make my way to the counter to pay and get my packages and after paying 110 instead of 60 to reinstate the same box for being closed. Then after enhancing my receipt, he walks away without saying anything... not "bye", not "and do you need anything else?", not even ok have a good day"or "Next person in line". Nothing right? So I know very well that there's people standing in line behind me and I'm thinking that he's grabbing my mail that was held or something or perhaps my Amazon package that says it was just delivered today.... Nope after standing there looking stupid for five minutes. He comes back from the shadows and looks shocked at me standing there. "Oh!!! you're good to go!" *waving me off like I'm dismissed so he can help the next person in line behind me finally. I'm dumbfounded that he was playing around and I'm told they were sent back! Why would I pay for a box that I'm not going to get mail at anymore and reinstate that same box if you sent my packages back that we're just delivered today? So I can keep the same stupid number that doesn't really matter ??? So I asked for a refund and Jorge says OK well it's gonna be $41. I said forget it. I don't want refund a $41 when I just paid you 110 (are you insane?) I came in here with a closed box apparently and I'm not gonna walk out with no box and then you take $70 of my money. What a scam ! And I know you're not stupid and know what you were doing. This has obviously happened before with other people and they don't disclose this to you before reopening a box so you can keep the same ******* number...I have to keep this box now because I just walked in there and they were going have me walking out down $70 with no box. So I literally am so frustrated that they're playing dumb with me that I tell the man: THEN.forget.About.The refund. (because it's as stupid as it sounds) I.will.keep.the.boxxxxxx. But no, He goes let me go talk to the manager and he just disappears...... I waited standing there what felt like TEN minutes while he went back with his buddy to talk to the manager. Why did I stand there waiting?because obviously the clerk next to him wasn't clear before doing a transaction with me so how do I even know that the guy in front of me didn't just refund me $40 without telling me first that it was only going to be $40 when he literally just watched me pay his friend in the booth next to him $110 less than two minutes ago. So I have to stand there and wait ... Oh, what did I wait for? For him to bring his manager so that his manager could not offer anything but just came out here so that he could re-explain the same thing to me as though I was just not understanding the first time............................oh my god................ Do not come out here and re-explain something to me again like I am stupid and didn't get it the first time when I literally said forget it. Probably a good tactic to bring in a bit more funds, probably not their first rodeo. I'm never coming back to this post office after this forced six months is over. Literally just smiling in my faces giving happy as can be, and definitely not giving an ounce of care that they just did that in my face--taking my money........ Thanks for nothing, taking my money, wasting more of my time, talking to me like I'm slow, and all of this service with a smile. What could they do fix it? Actually give me my full refund in a timely manner where I wouldn't be forced to continue usage of this box and continue to have my mail on route. Jodi is a great worker! I've had her assist me twice in two days and each time she was super helpful and patient with what I needed to get done. BTW if you lose your mailbox key that the USPS owns they will replace for $35 bucks. The line moves hella quick when there is one but the first time I went during lunch there was no line. read more

This location was easy to get in and out of. They have self service kiosks outside in the main lobby part. This is something that, especially during the holidays, is a huge advantage for any Post Office. Even with a long line to see a customer service person, I managed to be in and out in less than 5 minutes because of being able to use the kiosk. read more

The USPS is really convenient with its self-service kiosk. It's great that there are three kiosks available to customers. You don't have to wait in line if you only need to use the kiosk to buy stamps or shipping out a prepaid shipping label. It's a great option to consider as an alternative to the long line for in-person services. read more

I have never received such courteous service from a postal employee. They assisted me in insuring that my package would arrive in a reasonable amount of time. My overall experience has been outstanding. They were quick and efficient and the line moved quickly. read more

i called because I dropped off a package inside the post office in their package bin with prepaid priority mail label. It has been 2 days and it has not started tracking. The recording when you call says that you will be transferred to the operator. Wrong! I called 3 times, each time it rings for about 3 minutes and then someone hangs up. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Outstanding and Awesome Customer Service. Courteous, Kind, Knowledgeable, Swift, and many are Bilingual. We have lived in the Lake Mary area for 20 + years and the Staff on this location has got to be one of the nicest (if not THE nicest) USPS staff I have ever been assisted by. Place is always clean, and personnel is always ready to work for us. Ample parking, as well. Sometimes they even call me by my last name and that IS music to anyone's ears. Plus, all of them always thank us for being a customer. it motivates me to hold the door for incoming and outgoing visitors, every time I am able to. I have several residents who rented my home before I bought it who were not considerate enough to fill out a mail forwarding request. I continuously receive their mail, write "return to sender" or "does not live" here and the mail deliverer lazily sticks the mail in my mail slot anyways. I went to the post office personally to (very nicely) to ask this be stopped. I was assured by the manager he'd speak to the mail carrier. I'm still getting piles of FOUR other peoples mail. This has been going on for almost three years. These people are helpless. read more

This Post Office is very busy. Mostly because of the excellent service they provide. It's also clean and have all the supplies needed for your shipping needs. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I was in and out the door in less thank 5 minutes. Don't let the long line fool you. read more

I had a great experience at this location. Everyone was very helpful and patient during the holiday rush.

There's not much different about this post office from any other, except they have longer lobby hours and two of the automated postal machines instead of the one that barely (or never) works. And these two worked. Since it's on a main road, entering and exiting during peak times is a pain. The area doesn't appear sketchy and a longer-than-usual wait to make a turn isn't too horrible, unless you have mr., ms., or mrs. impatient and get-the-he** out-of-my-way behind you. Then, if you have the nerve, it's fun to screw with them and deliberately take your time. The lobby is organized, and most people clean up after themselves, or maybe I was there early enough that the cleaning crew had already been through. In either case, the labels, envelopes and drop boxes were easy to locate and the hours were posted clearly and in several places. I appreciate the fact there were plenty of windows along the lobby to allow in the light and provide visibility. I've been to worse post offices than this one and unlike those, I'd stop here again. read more

Today August 14, 2023 there was delivery of any mail at 188E Crystal Lake Ave, Lake Mary. I reported personally this to the office at 3415 W Lake Mary Ave. No response. Excellent service when waiting in line. They're even giving you a link to a survey on their performance on your receipt now. Who knew they cared??!?! They have a fun selection of specialty stamps. Picked up some Jimi Hendrix! Appreciate the automated postal center. In fact, I use this part the most. Their express mail and priority mail box/envelope supply is generally well stocked. To be fair, I've exclusively visited this postal office during weekday mornings, so I can definitely understand how it's probably a breeze to visit a postal office during these times. Hmm - how do you rate a post office? After all USPS is dying a slow death, and I feel bad both for the people who might be losing jobs or hours, as well as the spectre of UPS and Fedex jointly taking over the world in Amazon-like fashion. So, what: 5 stars for sympathy, 1 star for lines (especially pre-holidays), 2 stars for price, 4 for parking ...?? What I CAN tell you is that there are 3 automatic dispensers at this location where you can weigh your package, get stamps etc.- basically do 85% of all the things that people are lining up for. Yet no one uses them? Can't be THAT many people getting certified mail or have no credit/debit cards! They need someone out front to direct folks to these machines. read more

Sonny and Ray were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure a package was delivered in time for my granddaughter's birthday. A post office in KY would not deliver a package (I purchased from a company in Lake Mary) to the intended address and it was shipped back to the Lake Mary, FL post office. These two employees helped me find a way to ship from Lake Mary back to KY in time for the birthday party. I would highly recommend using this post office if you are in the area!! read more

Lol this was the worst experience I've ever had at a post office. They refused to let me borrow a small amount of tape and instead wanted me to buy a large overpriced roll just to package my parcel enough. Every post office I've ever gone to has been so accommodating. Not this one. Extremely incompetent supervisory personnel. I moved into a new apartment building and the address that was given to me was different than what the usps had in their system. The unit number was the same but not the street number. It took two months to get to the bottom of this issue. During that time I begged them to put the mail with my name in the box for that unit regardless of the issue. But that didn't happen. I didn't receive my mail for two months. And only after I called and raised my voice we got to the bottom of the issue and the supervisor said it was my fault for giving out the wrong address. I was more upset that they knew their was an issue and the carrier wouldn't place the mail in the box. It's the only apartment building for miles. read more

If I could opt to have a different post office or switch companies the way I would any other service provider who isn't good at their job, I would. I've had multiple problems receiving mail since moving to Lake Mary and it took four calls and one in-person visit to the post office to get it resolved. I live in an apartment and our leasing office accepts packages on our behalf, but my mail carrier left an almost $600 package of contact lenses "hidden" on my doorstep under my doormat. Not a good strategy for hiding a fairly sizeable box. read more

It's so beyond annoying that I've lived at my address for 10 years and all of a sudden my prescription medication gets marked as undeliverable and routed to Jacksonville? So I call and I'm told we will route it back to you no problem. I ask can you send it to my PO box to be safe rather than my house where it was "undeliverable". I check back this week and it's out for delivery marked as delivered and then marked as undelivered. How do you deliver androgen mark as undelivered in the same minute. Back on the phone with Maria who says I'll call you back when the carrier returns to let you know. No phone call. I'm not holding my breath and I'm 4 days past due on taking my medication. First the carrier puts a "vacant" note in our company mail box and stops our mail until we confirm occupancy. But it was the wrong suite number that had the issue and the mail carrier mistake, so now a week later we are getting the mail that was returned to sender. Then the carrier brings up a piece of mail that had postage due. Not our fault but the senders fault , yet the carrier was aggravated that she had to come and collect the .44 cents. And usually while delivering mail for postage due or certified signature, the carrier would bring the other mail as well. No...not this time...one letter needing .44 cents means the "customer" must go down to their mailbox for the other 4 pieces of mail. USPS wonders why business if off a little? Another federal company with no clue on customer service...but they will get a politicians pension plan.... read more
