Went to this post office to issue my daughter's passport, it's not the closest to me but was the one with an available appointment within a reasonable time, we arrived there at the time of our appointment, filled the paperwork, service was prompt and fast and we were happy with the whole process. everything went smoothly and were in and out in half an hour.

Great, friendly service sets this branch apart. It also doesn't get as crowded as some of the other locations. Again, let me mention the service, it exemplifies the ideal of a small town community feel, where people know the regulars and engage on small talk during the transaction. Kind of a rarity, especially considering it is on the outskirts of a city (Orlando).

Christmas Post Office 23580 E Colonial Dr Christmas, FL 32709 Most of the year, the town's post office operates at a normal pace until just before Christmas when an avalanche of letters, cards, and packages by the thousands are delivered to be re-mailed with the official Christmas postmark. This has been going on since 1930 when postmistress Juanita Tucker began stamping letters with "Glory to God in the Highest--Christmas, Orange County, Florida." Today, the Christmas post office offers a choice of postmarks from Hanukah to Kwanza to Christmas, nobody gets left out. Of course this has only increased business at the post office. Some letters come in not for the postmark, but are addressed simply to Santa Claus. Maybe folks think that Santa, like so many other northerners, has retired to Florida. You can see a display of these items all year at the post office, but if you plan to do any holiday mailings from Christmas, you'd better get there early. Tiny post office at Christmas, Florida handled 300,000 pieces of mail last year. Mail from all over the world arrives for postmark with the yule touch.

The weather outside may not be frightful, but Christmas in Florida can be so delightful. While…read morebalmy breezes and swaying palms may not be everyone's idea of a typical Christmas, Floridians have found some pretty unique ways to celebrate the season. And, for those who just can't do without ice and snow, we have that too... we even have a town named Christmas. Yes, Virginia... there really is a Christmas, Florida. Florida may not see much snow, but the small post office near historical Fort Christmas sees plenty of activity prior to the holidays. People come from miles around to have their Christmas cards postmarked "Christmas, Florida!" If you go, expect to wait in longer-than-usual lines for what has become a holiday tradition for many. Christmas, Florida, is a strip of highway 50, east of Orlando, with an overly large post office and a number of local attempts at the theme. Christmas pennants hang from every telephone pole, there's a Christmas trailer park, a perennial fully decorated evergreen tree, religious grottoes, and a small but ominous locked Christmas Museum, apparently open only by appointment or at special events. There are a few things Christmas is famous for one being the post office but that's another review another is Fort Christmas that's also another review then there's the most famous person coming from Christmas noooooo it's not Santa it's James Wheeler a.k.a. Tex. American Sculptor James Hughlette "Tex" Wheeler's Headstone, located in the Fort Christmas Cemetery in Christmas, Florida. Mr. Wheeler is best known for his sculptures of the famed racehorse Seabiscuit and the jockey who rode him to fame, George Woolf at Santa Anita Park in California as well as a statue of Will Rogers at the Will rogers Memorial in Claremore, Oklahoma. If you ever have the opportunity to stop in you should it like stopping in to see the the world's largest ball of twine or the largest frying pan you know it's gonna be on your bucket list now :-)

Long due. as my m-in-law is now in PAM Health Rehab in Ocoee, Florida. it took longer than usual. Watana wanted to fix the picture post cards from India and suggested i should put things all the files for C.P.As. i have DrJustkidding inc. So, all the files must be combined to post to CPA... Again, Watana said, I should do as many surveys as possible for her- they were kidding. I went during our lunch hours from Office. This is the closest or nearest. This post office works till 18:00 hrs. Normally all the post offices close at 17:00 and some of them in Clarcona Ocoee road closes at 1600 itself. i love these timings They have a separate Passport line ...It is on the right side and corner. Today one of US Postal clerk came to take a picture for the passport... Very nice of her. Few others also mentioned Watana deserves a good note. As she suggested for this great post office. Love it... It is more spacious. Lot of features. Maybe or possibly one of the biggest or large size Post office, i might be aware of...it is near the Waterford Lakes. Which is famous in this side of town. The driver replied "So I can throw the package to the front door". The package was clearly marked FRAGILE PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE on a large red label. I explained he had not only driven over my front lawn, but his big, heavy van was also driven and now parked on my septic tank drain field. He was instructed to never ever drive on the lawn again. Even if he couldn't read, he should be able to recognize the big red FRAGILE label. To be so lazy to feel the need to drive over someone's lawn to 'throw the package to the front door' rather than walk 50' to place the box on the porch is unacceptable, unexcusible and shows lack of respect. This demonstration of irresponsibility can cause severe damage to the drain field, causing thousands of dollars of damage. I explained this to the driver. His response was an open mouth stare. So glad I retrieved the package before he pitched it to the porch. It was a vintage piece of chine, no longer made and quite hard to come by. Totally thoughtless and ignorant employee. Obviously more concerned about making his quota than the contents in a package marked FRAGILE. I'd give a negative number for feedback if I could. He could have at least said "Sorry, I won't drive on the lawn again".
