3-28-2025 @1:05pm delivery van #0334561 drove 45' into my front lawn (where our septic drain field is located). I came from the side of the house and asked why he drove on my lawn. The driver replied "So I can throw the package to the front door". The package was clearly marked FRAGILE PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE on a large red label. I explained he had not only driven over my front lawn, but his big, heavy van was also driven and now parked on my septic tank drain field. He was instructed to never ever drive on the lawn again. Even if he couldn't read, he should be able to recognize the big red FRAGILE label. To be so lazy to feel the need to drive over someone's lawn to 'throw the package to the front door' rather than walk 50' to place the box on the porch is unacceptable, unexcusible and shows lack of respect. This demonstration of irresponsibility can cause severe damage to the drain field, causing thousands of dollars of damage. I explained this to the driver. His response was an open mouth stare. So glad I retrieved the package before he pitched it to the porch. It was a vintage piece of chine, no longer made and quite hard to come by. Totally thoughtless and ignorant employee. Obviously more concerned about making his quota than the contents in a package marked FRAGILE. I'd give a negative number for feedback if I could. He could have at least said "Sorry, I won't drive on the lawn again". read more

I was going to say they are friendly but I just got misinformation from a clerk that was different than what is provided online and after a long call with the national USPS. She yells at me that they are retail and not over the carriers. The manager of the carries is not able to be reached. Constantly getting neighbors mail, from bank statements to underwear. I have important documents and they have attached the wrong letter tags to the wrong mail. The information calling the 800# is not the same as what the local office is saying.Eventhough the carrier put the tags on the wrong letter and didn't fill the tags out correctly the employee at the local retail USPS in Oviedo didn't want to be bothered. She was very rude and would not clarify or assist in correcting the issue. The carriers need training and accountability. This has been habitual for years. Today I spent 3 hours dealing with my critical mail. USPS a government run operation and union protected will never improve. There is no consequences for wrongful and lack of duty. read more

Incompetent! I received a notice dated 5-02-2024 for pick up and pay postage of 160.45 for a shipment from department store which should have been free shipping. I arrive on 5-11-2024 to this post office and spoke to Manny and he said said he would reuse this and ship back to sender. 6-03-2024, I have contacted repeatedly this office, they do not answer the phone. When I finally spoke to Karis, she sated they were very busy and the package was still there on the floor. When I track the package it still says I need to pick it up at the post office. Trying to get the package back so I can receive a credit on my card. Finally received a call back from Customer service to ill out a service request in hopes this will expedite action. I really like this USPS location. Not only is it the closest to me, not only is it roomy so you're not crammed, not only does it have pretty much all you need post-wise... most importantly: I like the people that work there. I've met 2 of them, both hispanics, and they've been very helpful in recommending the type of packing to use that is best and most cost effective. read more

Four Stars because I don't think I've been to a friendlier or more efficient post office. Friendly? Yes. Efficient? Yes. But rarely do both qualities happen in the same place. It's quite big for a post office and it's very organized; I don't think I saw a box or mailing slip out of place. There was a line, but with four people working the counters and one person moving through the line, helping people fill out forms, answer questions, etc. -- the process was quick and relatively painless. The fact that they were all generous with their smiles also smoothed any ruffled feathers. Seriously, saw a grumpy guy come in and, with a little bit of friendliness, he was completely won over. I only had to pick up a package, and was out of there in less than five minutes; but after seeing how things are run, I'm going to make this my go-to place for all my postal needs. read more

I'm not usually a fan of the post office. In the past few places I've lived, the Post Office closest to them were usually pretty crappy. The staff was usually unfriendly and the customers rude. But, this isn't the case with this post office! The staff is very friendly and informative here and the wait times are usually pretty low. Even after a package took OVER A MONTH to get from this Post Office to me in Virginia, when my dad asked for his money back from the ridiculously long time it took, this Post Office refused to offer him a refund, stating there is no guaranteed time frame for a package to arrive to any destination. Despite the fact that my Virginia Post Office was pursuing this as a lost item for weeks, this Post Office is pretending that this was business as usual. The Virginia Post Office found that it was, in fact, lost in Florida by this Post Office. So, I guess if the Post Office can't guarantee that something will not take A MONTH OR MORE to be delivered, I will not be using the Post Office again. During the month of waiting for this package, which employees of this Post Office had nearly destroyed when initially delivering it to my parents' address in Oviedo by wrapping it around a stack of mail and securing it closed with a rubber band, even though the package stated Do Not Bend, I used FedEx twice to get documents and a package delivered for me, since I clearly could not trust the Post Office. A few weeks after I finally received my destroyed, five-week mailed package from this Post Office, my parents sent me another package from this Post Office, paying extra for a signature guaranteed delivery, but there was no such signature label on the package when I received it (albeit in a normal time frame). Please avoid the Post Office, especially this one. read more

I sent a letter to Oviedo, Fla. by express mail and Signture that went out on the 18th. of December 2018 this letter never got deliver according to the Oviedo Post Office and I was tracking the the letter and getting messages that it was ready for pick up on December 27th,2018 my family had to drive over to the post officice because they would not deliver it Now I know that nothing is guaranteed but no attempt to deliver it is totally unexceptabe to me because I could have saved my money and sent it through regular mail read more

I live in Richmond, Virginia and sent my special niece a package with lots of baby clothes and toys for her newborn baby. It was to be delivered on Wednesday and I was surprised that I had not heard from my niece. I tracked it and it was delivered, But my niece didn't receive the package. So I went to my local post office and placed an inquiry, they gave me all the documents I needed and the name of the post office. I dialed several times and on the third try a wonderful MaryAnn answered the phone. She was the most understanding and kindest person to help an Aunt in total distress. She is tracking and has my niece's local number and I know the package will arrive. MaryAnn made a difference, because she cares and is an "Angel". Thank YOU all for making a difference. read more
