She asked for my account number (with slow service I could not access it) and never bothered to ask for the barcode which At&t explicitly says to use. She then asked for my last name with a huff and puff and repeated it loudly and as if I had the craziest last name ever and so as I typically do I spelled it out. On 07/24/26, I handed them a $963.00 laptop that was being shipped back to the seller and the package went missing shortly after. The owner, Benny, accepted no responsibility. His logic was that since the seller created the label and not The UPS Store, his store was 100% absolved. Wrong!! When a customer hands over their package to a UPS Store employee, they have a responsibility to make sure the package makes it to the Longwood UPS Processing Center. This is not the first time a package I have dropped off at this location went missing, which tells me there is a breakdown in processes. But Benny wasn't interested in that. He only wanted to wash his hands of the situation. Alarming, to say the least. I will provide an update on how UPS handled the situation, when I know it. I would recommend finding a different UPS Store to ship your packages from, however.
