Always courteous and helpful. Would recommend this post office over others I've been to.

This post office is nearest me so it's usually where I go. It has super inconvenient hours (don't all government entities?) but the community I live in doesn't have a package drop, only a mail slot for letters. Because of this, I often come here with a backlog of packages that need to go out. The staff is seemingly spread thin so they maintain a blase attitude most of the time. The facility itself is super dark and outdated. They carry new packaging and stamps though, so it gets the job done. read more

Ducked out at lunch time to this post office location as it was closest to my work place, and I had to post a bday package to my niece in Austin. Lots of parking up front and when I went inside the building it was surprisingly enough was not busy (even tho' it was lunch time) at all. There were two postie's behind the counter and I observed both were very friendly and went out of their way to help each person who went up to the counter. They still have the mail it yourself machine!!! WOOHOO! This used to be my neighborhood post office and I stopped in here this week to mail some packages out. I have issues with this Post Office! Today, for instance. the carrier did not take my outgoing mail out of the mailbox and just shoved the new in with it. I then tried 10 times to call to get someone back to pick it up but they never answer their phone. So I tried to send a message through their website and the "Send Message" button didn't work! I am totally upset with them but I have to deal with them since they are my "home" Post Office. As far as the employees at the cashier windows, I have never had an issue with them! I don't know what's going on with one of the post office workers there. I think he's on a power trip or something. I went in there to send a package (6lbs) to California and asked what the rates were. He quoted me $65 and I said that's a lot to send a package to California! He then said well that's overnight rate.. and you should know that and do you even know where California is ...do you know how far this package has to go. I couldn't not believe the way he spoke to me. I said yes , "I know how far California is, but I thought maybe it would cost around $20 to send it, since I don't need overnight delivery". .. he then said , "well if you want to freight it'll be $24$". I said, "you know what I'll go to a different location I also said , "you are very rude" to him. I felt he was so condensing! Most of the workers their are nice.. not sure where this guys learned his manners, or just having a rotten morning. read more

Decent post office, usually pretty packed, I would assume due to shortage of workers. I usually go around lunch time which is when everyone else seems to have time to go as well lol. I'm not sure if they're short on workers bc they have to take lunch breaks as well or if they just don't staff many people at a time. I do think that it's kind of annoying that they have extra people walking the line to ask if people need certain services (that no one ever does) of which could be expedited. Just get behind one of the bazillion stations and start helping customers, I'm not a rocket scientist but I presume that will help clear the line quicker. Horrible about restocking the priority mail products, & I find it very frustrating that you offer a ton of flat rate shipping products and ... Sort of stock them all except one specific kind (which you have to order online). Anyways, they delivery my mail, it doesn't always get there fast, but it gets there, so... I had to go hunt down my package today. Tracking said it was delivered to my mailbox and that is not true I've been here all afternoon. I put my shoes on and walked one block over to the same street number different street name and there it was in their mailbox. This happens frequently enough that I can predict it. Also, every time I mail a priority package from this location it takes 5 to 7 days or more to get there I don't know what they do but it's not working. Last weeks package trekked around Florida for five days and then Pennsylvania for two before being delivered. read more

The staff here is always extremely helpful and courteous. I've never had a bad experience or even a long wait.

This is one of a few post office left around the area and the only other one near by is in Altamonte Springs, I stopped by here to mail some documents and went inside and waited in line for only a few minutes but the line was quit long and they only had two people working at the desk till another lady got back from her lunch. The staff was friendly but they should have more people working so the lines are not as long and also there parking lot is small and sometime you have to wait for someone to leave for you to get by or find a spot. This location gets pretty busy specially around 4-5pm. Like Collen mention they also had a mail it your self machine and you can also get stamps here with out forming in line, the machine is located with the mail boxes. read more

I don't know if it's because I am pregnant with a heightened sense of smell, but I have been here twice recently and the place smells like pee. I guess it is probably more of an "old library" smell but to me it's coming across as pee. Not cool. Other than that, it's in a good spot when I'm in Maitland so I go there. I am usually there in the morning and it has never been unbearably busy. In closing, let's support the post offices wherever they may be. :) read more

We moved to the area in 2017 and this became our new post office. I have never had a negative experience with an employee here. In fact, they are very friendly and attentive. The only problem I've ever had here was using the kiosk. I was in a hurry and giving up when one of the employees insisted on helping me before I huffed out of the door. Sometimes they deliver, sometimes they don't. Postmaster will not take a call. Supervisor gives a shrug off. The government at its finest!

Classic post office. Very small, and the lines can be long during peak times/days but everything else is on point with this post office. I remember when I was little, going in to buy stamps with my grandparents, who lived right there in Maitland. The location is prime time for people that cut through that way to I-4. Right near the intersection of Horatio and Maitland Ave. The staff members are super nice and they will always help you with anything that you need to ship. Plenty of space for P.O. boxes that you can rent. All in all, an awesome post office. read more

I went to mail letter to this place and after 5 or 7 minutes I remember I forgot to include my payment. I went back and asked this person Anthony if I can get my mail back. I asked him politely and at first I thought he was kidding when he said it's long gone. I told him I just went to my car and came back and that's not too long ago.Then he repeatead again that it's LONG GONE .Very sarcastic. He told me in a RUDE way that it will take him a long time to look for the letter and he humiliated me in front of the people . He told me, he doesn't have time and said " Can't you see the line and you want me to look for the letter". OMG I don't think this person has a manner. He can tell me in a polite way and apologize that he won't have time to do it because the line is big. I don't have problem with that. I just ask him to give back my receipt and left. So rude. I will never come back to this place. read more
