The parking lot is huge with lots of space to park. I walked in to mail some letters. The actual counter and postal workers do not open until 9:00. I was early so I did walk inside and use the mail slot inside to mail off my letters.

Since we were on our way to the Mount Dora area we decided we would seek out a post office on the way to Eustis. This post office happens to be in the same lot as Treasure Marts, one of the thrift stores we wanted to shop at while in the area, so this worked out perfectly. The staff here were very friendly, service was fast, and we were in and out in no time at all. Pricing is was fair, shipping from here to Melbourne, FL, was about $10 for a 2 lb. Box. All-n-all, everything was great and I recommend stopping here if you need mail services while you're in the area.

However, the envelope was EMPTY with the exception of the packing slip stating the name of the magazine that was SUPPOSED to be in the envelope. We have the worst mail delivery experiences in our neighborhood. The day before, someone else's package was placed in our mailbox. Mistakes are expected, but not over and over again. We are totally fed up.

Sometimes the lines move slowly, but unless they re short-staffed, that usually has to do with the volume and speed of the customers rather than the employees. There is parking out front, both sides for Clifford Ave., a few spaces along busy Grove St., and a parking lot on the inner side of the building. There is a mail drop-off slot in that parking lot also. The lobby is open 24/7 but the counter is 9:30-5:00 weekdays and 9:30-Noon Saturday. If you print a pre-paid label at home, you can just leave it on the right-hand side of the counter if it is busy. Shipping supplies and Priority boxes are available before you approach the counter. I would give this location five stars except it would be more convenient if they opened a bit earlier than 9:30 and closed later Han noon on Saturday l plus a self-service shipping kiosk or t least a stamp vending machine for after hours would be

We were doing some shopping in the Lake Mary area and decided to try the Monroe office since it was on our way. The building is a decent size; however, the reception area where you weigh packages and pay the USPS staff members is very small; only enough room for two to three customers max. A bit weird but it got the job done. Fortunately for us when we are arrived we were the only customers here. Shortly after our arrival, about four more customers came in but had to lineup in the foyer just outside the doorway/entrance to the reception. My mom had two ship two packages to NY. I don't remember the exact weight of the boxes but it cost around $60. A bit pricey, but still cheaper than adding an additional piece of luggage to her flight home. Staff here were very pleasant and we were in and out and no time. Overall the store is clean, organized, and is a great alternative when the downtown Sanford post office is in the weeds.

If my recipient does not receive the mail, I will have serious concerns. I've had multiple prior instances where tracked packages handled by this location were never sent, as the tracking showed it never left the facility. Mail theft is a federal offense, and I hope this matter is taken seriously and investigated.
