The other day I went at 4:55 to drop off 3 prepaid small packages. Usually I just drop it off in a basket and go. The man shut the door in my face and told me to go elsewhere. This was completely unnecessary and terrible service. He didn't even have to do anything but decided to be rude. I didn't make any fuss about it and waited until the next day to drop off my packages. Well today I went earlier. 4:40. Just to make sure this didn't happen again. The same man looks directly at me and shuts the door once again! I told him I came earlier and now it's 4:40! It's not 5! I Came by on Monday around 130 to drop off a package. I was greeted rudely by a Vietnamese guy who worked that shift straight out said we can't accept the package because it wasn't taped properly. I'm pretty sure i did a decent job taping it but this guy don't know what his problem told me that the label was exposed but it was taped enough so it remain secured . Im sure if I take it another post office they would not hesitate to acceoy it I asked him if I can borrow some tape to fix the problem and he said we don't have any tape. However, they told me package was 1 lb and 7oz and demanded that I paid for extra postage fee. I refused as I carefully weighted the packet at home, with professional scale. They said they only trust their scale, so I asked them to weight my packet again at the next station. Guess what, the next station's scale showed 1lb. I got mad and went to another USPS in Fountain Valley. My packet came out exactly 8oz. I told them about my situation and the lady even apologized me for having bad experience. I came to drop off some packages. I did not know the station does not accept online drop off since I just dropped off some packages jus a week ago at the same station. I walked in and spoke to Hector. The moment I said I have some packages to drop off with usps labels, he already put on attitude. He said "We don't accept packages". I was not sure I heard him right, I said "but I just dropped some packages off only a week ago and you never said that. The only thing difference is last time I had to buy some boxes and tape and this time I brought my own boxes". He rolled his eyes and started raising his voice, pointed out to the sign and told me to read it myself. He was unprofessional and rude. He can just explain to me that the station is small and don't have enough employees to received packages. Instead, he left me with unanswered question and started chit chatting with other employees. Most post office I go to usually look like they don't like their job. I've been to this location a few times and they are all pretty friendly. They make sure to work fast and efficient. You know how sometimes you to to the post office and there's always 2 empty spots and there's all these people walking around in the back? They don't do that here. I came to drop off a package and asked the lady if I could get a confirmation receipt for dropping off the package and she told me that they don't give out confirmation receipts and I would have to PAY for one! Are you serious? I paid for the prepaid shipping label and just wanted a receipt showing that it was dropped off.. Why do I have to pay for that? I then told the lady that I've never had to pay for a confirmation drop off receipt before and she says "This is Westminster and we follow the rules." The wait time may be a little longer here, but I'll gladly take that for such good service. The employees here are kind and very patient- and they treat each transaction like it's important. Raymond and Lucy are almost always there, and they're super knowledgeable and helpful. I go out of my way to bring all of my mail and packages here, especially since I need them to check my Etsy orders to ensure I have the proper postage etc. If you collect stamps, this is a great office, they have all the new stamps releases. read more

This USPS is conveniently located in Little Saigon in a small shopping plaza. The staff is very professional and courteous. They don't mind assisting you with any questions and/or concerns that you may have when shipping any packages. The location is small and can get slightly crowded, but the service is pretty speedy. I'm beyond upset! If I can give this store -10, I would. The worse customer service ever! Very rude and disrespectful. I went in to drop off a couple pre-paid packages and get a confirmation receipt and had a yelling match with this horrible woman named Lucy who insisted they don't do that. I said go ahead and call the police but she didn't. WTH!? I've been shipping for ages and every location has done this, it's part of their service. I just happen to be in the area so I stopped by this location, never again! And guess what, she wasn't even the one helping me! This post office is really small. Came here to ship my Christmas presents. I learn my lesson to buy gifts online because shipping is expensive. There were only two workers out of desk stations that day. The man who helped me out was very professional and helpful. He even asked if I wanted to put my gifts into their box for a flat rate. I already knew my gifts wouldn't fit it, so I got my own box. Shipping from CA to NY for a 6lb package costed me $17 for the cheapest rate. Shipping from CA to NM for a 4lb package costed me $12 for a 10-day delievery. read more

I didn't know it was not allowed to use camera inside post office; after I had finished the payment, I used my phone to take my receipt to send to my friend, the staff named Tina (Short hair like tom boy) talked to me very loudly and impolite, "it is not allowed to use camera here, you had to remove the pic" the way she talked very rude & very impolite, it made me feel hurt and frustrated, actually I could remove right away but I didn't , she saw I didn't remove then she wanted to take my key that put on the counter. I thought this post office was pleasant until a recent experience. I came here to send an international letter. The older caucasian worker behind the counter overcharged me and claimed that I had something other than "paper" in my envelope. I explained what was inside and he still pushed me to pay for more. I didn't want to go to another post office, since it wasn't even worth the extra drive. Paid and the recipient still haven't received the letter. I should give this place the benefit of the doubt, but honestly, I am sitting here pondering if they even took care of the letter or simply discarded it. First time losing an international shipment.
