First time visiting this location in a weekday afternoon. Parking space is limited but manageable. When I walked in, there was only one female staff who can speak English and Vietnamese working in the front. I wanted to get the certified mail so she gave me a certified mail receipt to write and asked me to also write the sender and receiver on my envelope directly. When I was done and then she was gone in the back storage room or something so the other male staff came to pick up the work she left. He asked me what was in the envelope and if anything I should not put in the envelope. To total was $8.58 which is way cheaper than UPS . However, UPS staff will print the delivery information to make sure no mistakes so I guess if you want to get the extra careful delivery service, paying more might make sense. read more

I had one of the most unprofessional and downright rude experiences at this post office, thanks entirely to an employee named Trang. I came in to drop off a pre-paid package. Instead of just doing her job, Trang felt it was appropriate to interrogate me about the contents, specifically asking if it was a "SHEIN return" and making a snide comment about people returning too many clothes. The contents of my package are none of her business, and it was incredibly judgmental and uncalled for. To make matters worse, she then refused to accept my package because the tape wasn't "Scotch brand." Since when is there a brand-specific tape requirement for pre-paid packages? It's clear Trang was on a power trip, more interested in judging customers and enforcing arbitrary, non-existent rules than in doing her job. The post office is a federal agency, and her behavior is unacceptable. This is a serious customer service issue that management needs to address. read more

What is going on with this post office? In recent months they have been opening late, closing early and even taking random lunch breaks with no warning or business hour updates. I was here last week at 1:45pm and they were closed. Packages were left outside by the door and at least 4 customers left. I looked for a sign, but couldn't find one but luckily when I was about to leave an old Asian lady opened the doors. That was 2:05pm. Today to play it safe I decided to go at 2:20 pm and once again the post office was closed. This time there was a hand scribbled note that said that they were on lunch and would reopen at 2:45 pm. If I can give zero start I will but there's no option like this. This is a federal facility and it's illegal to close even 1 minute than it should be. I came to mail out a letter, and the posted closing time was 5:30 PM. I arrived at 5:25 PM, only to find the door already locked. When the staff member unlocked it, instead of allowing me in, he told me they were already closed. Excuse me? It was 5:25. The sweet excuse the staff gave me was "I haven't taken any break yet" SIR IT IS YOUR JOB AND ITS NOT A PRIVATE BUSINESS YOU OWN! This is unacceptable. USPS is a government service -- you don't get to "decide" to close early like you own the place. The public relies on those hours. People show up on time and are still turned away? AGAIN THIS IS A FEDERAL FACILITY IT CANNOT BE CLOSED EARLY AS IF YOU OWN THIS PLACE. I will be filing a formal complaint with USPS as well. This location is only available for one post office clerk working in the front. Uncommunicative with greetings and appreciation towards the customers. Rude front desk workers. He or she taking their own time slow-moving by killing time for their 8-hour shift. Their big paycheck is coming from hard-working people who are paid taxes. They don't even deserve a one star. I've been here numerous times, always a bad experience, but this one today tops it off. Came at 2:50PM, the doors were locked. I waited a few minutes for the guy at the counter to open the door just so he can say "I can't help you". Even when the doors aren't supposed to be closed until 3PM. Why has hours from 10-3PM if you wouldn't honor it? I understand this is a government agency ran, but at least take the job a bit more serious. People have busy lives and I had literally 30 minutes to rush to the post office just to be denied service js ridiculous. Sounds like a lot of people have had poor experiences here. Thankfully, mine wasn't too bad, but it could have been much better. There were only 9 people ahead of me, but many of them didn't properly package their items. This wasted around 10 mins of the employees' time showing them how to properly wrap a package. Some of these were easy to do, such as sending in a fixed rate priority mail box. There were only two postal workers manning the front, so you can do the math of how long it took altogether. It would have been more efficient if the postal workers told the unprepared customers to step aside so the next customer could send their package, instead of holding up the line. Eventually, it was my turn and it took 2 mins since I came prepared. FYI, it costs only $1.15 to send a lettered envelope to France. The postal worker was nice and apologized for the wait. It wasn't their fault, but I can see this location being frequented by unprepared customers who bring their mailing items and expecting the postal workers to help them properly package them. read more

I completely understand why people hate the post office. And for me it's not really about the customer service it's the absolute BS of a cost for a package that is half the size of when it was sent to me to cost double the amount. That's absolutely ridiculous. Something that weighed double the amount when it was sent cost $16 to ship it here. But for me to return only half the amount back it's $24. The post office is an absolute rip off. My box was smaller then Their medium shipping box, but be cause it was about an inch longer they charged $10 more then the medium box. Like I said. Going to be honest, went there on Monday had to mail something out. It was a nice experience, got there picked up a priority mail envelope. There was only one mail person working at the counter which is fine. At the time I came, there was only 2 people ahead of me in line. This is the closest place to me to ship that's open on Saturday, so it was my choice, but read reviews anyway. Better to know before hand what you're walking into. Did not see panhandlers or homeless people. Parking was plentiful on Saturday. Nick helped me with my packages everything was quick, line was only 2-3 people. I've come here twice, always for a basic postage purchase on a package. I've found the tellers to be friendly enough and helpful. The location is a bit dated and no super clean, but hey, it's a post office. I'd go again for a basic postage type transaction. So I came in last night to check my p.o. box & this is what I find, a homeless man sleeping right by where my p.o. box is. I feel sympathy for the homeless, as much as I wish them to have a safe place to sleep, the post office isn't it! There's been issues here with other homeless people finding their way inside which they shouldn't, after all there's a code to get in after hours for those of us with p.o. boxes, can't help bit think someone has given out the code for them to find their way inside. They've pissed, shit, & Lord knows what else inside. The staff here is nice so no issues there. Please correct this problem, change the code & write a letter for everyone with p.o. boxes to NOT give out the code. If you're the person giving out the code for wanting them to have a place to sleep then take them home with you or have a blanket & pillow in the trunk for them to sleep comfortable outside & maybe snacks too for them to have something in their stomach. There are people that only have time to check their mail at night & you're making it an unsafe/ unsanitary environment by allowing homeless to sleep inside the post office. read more

I was taken aback as to how rude an employee could be to a customer. The old Asian lady who works here, Tien or Hien (don't exactly remember her name) was extremely rude when I asked her a simple question. Not sure if other customers will agree with me on this, but it was hard to make sense of what she was saying through her HEAVY Vietnamese accent. And yet she treated me like an idiot for not understanding her. Perhaps your experience would be better if you speak Vietnamese. While this place deserves 1 star for horrible customer service, the other employee (again, I don't recall her name but she wasn't Asian) was really helpful and knowledgeable. It's Monday and the post office was very busy at 12:11pm, the tiny post office is so backed up with customers; only two slow workers doing check ins or intake of packages. Customers feel uneasy about the long lines and wait, some people cutting in line, the post office should Not be a place you dread or are afraid to go to, it shouldn't be a place you have to set aside one whole hour for. I only come here because it's close to my house which makes it convenient to drop off packages and what not. But I don't like the older Asian lady that works here. If you have any idea on how to address an envelope, fill out a certified form, or just buy stamps, you can really move right through the line. But when those of us who have visited post offices before are stuck waiting in line for people who don't know the difference between to and from, it gets quite frustrating. However Nick and Veronica are super friendly, very knowledgeable, and they don't carry on 20 minute personal conversations in different languages while people are waiting in line like a couple other "clerks".
