My neighborhood has this silly mailman that just delivers things however he feels and we are constantly talking to each other to get our things to the correct owner. I went into the post office to address the missing check and spoke to Sherman behind the counter. He was attentive and thoughtful, and told me he'd get to the bottom of it. When I got home, Cheech was at the mailbox and my check had arrived! 3 delivery days later. So thank you Sherman! I appreciate your concern.

Patrons followed marked areas. Small office area felt tight for people to be standing around in a line. 2 employees working the front office. They were pleasant and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was in and out of there with two customers in front of me. Nice location in the Valley Junction area. It's busy overall. And was even busy pre-pandemic when I would make a stop in the summer. Today it was supposed to be here at 10:30 am. My company paid for next day delivery and they gave it to a contractor that has not repercussions when they don't feel like delivering. Be cautious of this branch. Since living in this vicinity I have had one package lost that could…read morenot be found. The latest incident (4/22) was when I was available (home all day) to claim a package and USPS sent a notice (an hour later) that I missed the carrier. Calling the office, they claimed they looked into the issue, and they left a voicemail (30 minutes later) to state the carrier had attempted to ring the doorbell (which I can hear from anyplace in the residence) multiple times and no one answered, and that I could claim the package immediately at the office. I tested said doorbell for any issues (none). The carrier simply went to the wrong address and they would not admit to this. I ended up picking up the package manually (same day) as it was a high end item and I did not trust the staff for a re-delivery.
