The flat rate box I picked out was way too big and they went out of there way to find me the right size. The staff at this location have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in determining the best way to send out my mail and packages. While there can be a wait at times (such is the way with staff reduction and all), employees do a good job moving folks through. There is usually a good amount of shipping supplies, greeting cards and other such items for your postal needs. This location is also pretty good about having new stamp designs on hand. If you have a last minute item to mail, or miss your.mail carrier pick up, this post office has the latest pick up in the city (6:30 Monday-Saturday). This has been my post office of choice for many years and when my father ran his business, he rented his post office box here. The folks that maintain that aspect of this operation always did a good job making sure that our needs for taking care of and at a reasonable price. Being a postal worker is not an easy job and I appreciate everything that this particular US postal Service office does to tend to our postal needs. Things to know: * Parking is in a long narrow strip with handicap parking not.immediayely in front of the building's door. * They do not keep Saturday store hours, though the self-serve kiosk and postal boxes are available/accessible. * This location does have a passport services operation, but does require that you schedule an appointment. I know that they have had to turn away folks who were applying because they did not have the correct paperwork with them for their appointments. Be sure that you understand what you need to have so as not to be disappointed.

There was no drop off location, line, or window. During COVID19 review: Masks are required for entry. All employees were masked. All patrons were masked. Social distance measure were in place. Patrons followed marked areas. Small office area felt tight for people to be standing around in a line. 2 employees working the front office. They were pleasant and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was in and out of there with two customers in front of me. Nice location in the Valley Junction area. It's busy overall. And was even busy pre-pandemic when I would make a stop in the summer. Amazon telling us that no label printing is required and having UPS contradict this and charge for printing in some instances. * The shared parking lot can be tricky to get out of. An option is to use the exit behind the hardware store to avoid street traffic on Beaver Avenue.

The store was kind enough to package the items but after I left as they were busy. My sister texted me on Nov 21 that she received the package. At that point I had no concerns so I ditched the receipt. Yesterday Christmas 2025 I was talking to my sister and the present sent in Nov came up. What I had sent was a lighted display and a small bag containing multiple small (about 1") figurines of various items that were purchased in hospital gift shop. What she received was lighted display only. I can only guess that at some point before the packaging and sealing and sending that the small items were removed and reside in someone's house but not my sisters. BAD UPS. BAD!
