I have visited this location of the USPS more than a dozen times. I have consistently been served by professional, efficient, and knowledgeable postal workers. They have each been very helpful each time I have visited. There is easy parking and in/out access except when Buena is starting and ending their school days. The USPS is always organized and have all of the necessary forms on hand. I have used this location for mailing packages, not for their P. O. Boxes. read more

I used their self service kiosk today. It was so easy and convenient to use, especially since there was a very long line! It's usually not as busy but I'm sure they're really busy with the holidays. I had a QR code for my return, so all I had to do was scan the QR code and it printed the return label for me. I placed the return label on my package and put inside the drop box and I was done! read more

I just walked in and out to drop off my package in the drop box. I wish there was a bin where it was pretty obvious to drop in my package. In other post offices, I have seen a big bin behind the counter. Maybe I just overlooked it, there might of been something there. I did not want to ask the employees since there was a line and they were busy with other customers. Lucikly, I was able to fit my box into the package drop box. If there is bad service, it comes from the post master (which is a complete misnomer, in his case!). Our experience with this postmaster has proven not only to be unsatisfactory, but illegal as well. My husband and I are both disabled and 2 years ago they saw fit to end home delivery, ON OUR BLOCK! Now let me say, that the streets surrounding our block all continue to receive home delivery service. We asked what we needed to do to have our home delivery resume, we were told to get a letter from our doctor addressing our disabilities, and attach them to the application and submit them to THE POSTMASTER. This was done, and when we didn't get a response we attempted to speak to the man, he refused to come out and speak with us. The second time we attempted to learn the status of our application, this SUPPOSED Postmaster was heard to say, " I AIN'T GONNA DO IT!" This is completely contrary to Federal law for the accommodation to the disabled, also known as the American Disabilities Act... And THIS FEDERAL EMPLOYEE, is refusing to comply with a Federal Law. I stood in line for a bit, so I had the opportunity to losten to a few exchanges between the 3 employees and customers. The Wake Forest location is my absolute favorite Post Office. I love how they have the big package drop off bin for mail that's ready to go. It is so convenient and I appreciate that. I know some people are leaving negative reviews and accusing employees of being rude but I have never had that experience. I have witnessed customers stand at counter and demand and argue for the employees to make things happen out of their control and be treated poorly by said customers . This holds up the line for everyone and they are just trying to help everyone so I do not agree with the negative comments and I frequent the post office often . 25 people in line at 2pm, and they had two associates at open windows. A third associate walks up and the other 2 leave!! They never have anyone come out of the back for pickups only. I had a last minute Mail Drop off that I needed to make on December 1, 2022. I called the post office ahead of time to see if they would still helped me even if I arrived 5 minutes before closing. Excellent post office and conveniently locared. This is our post office for the area we live in and never had any issues. I have had mail on hold here, shipped packages during open hours, and after hours using their self serve kiosk and drop box. They also have held certified mail we missed while at work. You can also get stamps, packaging, and all things the post office provides. They also have PO boxes for rent. The postal office employees have always been courteous and provide acceptable service. We have been going here since we moved in to the area many years ago. read more

There might be more difficult jobs than working under high pressure with ever more restrictive budgets, but the post office has to be up there on the list. Still, when I called yesterday about a possible problem with the address on a priority letter I'd sent the day before, the person who spoke with me gave me useful information and helped me figure out what to do to make sure the letter is delivered. Be ready when you get to the front of the line...they are in a hurry to help the other patrons in line behind you. I usually have a question hence the reason standing in line and not dropping the package off. They have allowed me to step out of line after answering my question to finish with package before stepping to the front of the line to be next up. The office is clean and they get the job done. The line usually moves pretty quickly but there are always those days they don't. Staff has always seemed friendly and helpful. No restrooms for customers so be prepared if you have a long wait. read more

This is my "home" post office. Love just walking here or going by the drive "drop box". There's always a line, people, so don't get upset and just be warned you'll wait. They have, however, added a self-helping machine that allows you to enter the info of were you're sending your letter and parcel, pay with card, slap the printed postage and be on your merry way. Definitely convenient for people in a rush. I use this from time to time, but I rather wait in line since I like picking up a few stamps at that time ( you can buy them at the machine, but I like to pick the pretty ones they have to offer). Jesus and Mike are the friendliest and helpful postmasters. I don't know if that's their title . A plus, no vagrants roaming around unlike the the Main Street post office. read more

This post office located across Buena High School has few associates that do not have customer service skills particularly an old associate with a ponytail and glasses. He does not provide you with a cost-effective alternative to send your letters or packages AND IS NOT HELPFUL instead, he does not respond to your greeting, and he is rude and irritable when you ask him questions showing low customer service skills and lack of training. Also, some associates are really helpful but other ones can mislead you by giving you different information that may end up costing you more money. Unfortunately, USPS does not work uniformly. For instance, sometimes some associates accept your letters with stamps and sometimes they reject it and ask you to place more stamps even thought the thickness of the letter complies with the standard thickness requirements. It is amazing that despite that the supervisor said it is up to the associate and authorized the associate to receive it but later on this guy rejects the letter by mail. He has issues definitely. Later on, I went to another USPS office and they ended up accepting it without requiring extra stamps. Why do they not work uniformly? Sincerely, this Wake Forest USPS office located in Ventura, CA needs to improve its business practices by training employees about stamps, sizes, and sickness of letters or packages. read more

Eh. I guess this Post Office is ok. I like the location...right across from Buena High...easy to get to and easy to and from. Maybe my issue with this location is the same problem I have with a lot of Post Offices...the fact that they look so run down and everyone looks so overworked. I know the USPS is going through a lot of changes these days but this is one of those locations that needs mucho work. Maybe a good cleaning and some paint... Dont Starving Student do painting too? Maybe they can get together and work something out...lol. The workers there are nice and all but they look very overworked and plus it seems like every time I get in line someone has to take a break... Speaking of getting in line it seems like every single time I have been here I stand in line about 10-15 minutes. It really makes me want to go to FedEx or a UPS Store...I know its a little more expensive but its way more convenient. Plus I mailed a couple of cards Priority Mail on a Friday the other day and it took till the next WEDNESDAY to get to NorCal from SoCal. Now I know why they call it Snail Mail. :0) read more

Nice workers, but several times when I use the package drop bin to mail packages, my items are not scanned or accepted until tbe following day. The pickup deadline is 5:30 pm and I have dropped them off before 7am in some cases only to have them not be accepted or shipped until the next day. As an Amazon and ebay seller this is unacceptable because my customer think I am being dishonest about when their items were shipped based on tracking. read more

The staff here is helpful and friendly but too many people come which is why it tends to get busy and the line tends to pick up relatively quickly as well. Been trying to call for over two weeks and no one ever answers the phone. I scheduled a redelivery for a package that should have been left at my apartment office, but was instead returned to this black hole of a post office. So package was returned tot he post office Dec 14th. I scheduled my redelivery on the 30th Hi January 6th...still no package, had to call the USPS main line to schedule another redelivery. I know you'r a post office and all, but come guys, show some respect for your customers by at least answering the phone or giving me an option to leave a message. It's an easy enough location to get to. Although I went on a Saturday afternoon. That might be easier than a weekday afternoon especially since this USPS location is right across the street from Buena High. I had to wait in line, which is not a big deal. Don't people know to prepare themselves for the wait when going to the post office? I hate it when people in line mumble to themselves about how they should open up more windows. Oh please. They have lost my packages three times in the last nine months... All three times the tracking information shows as delivered to my parcel box... Which it hasn't... I go to the post office to let them know from there I am then sent to speak with a supervisor, the supervisor says I will have to file a claim or just tell the sender that I did not receive it so the sender can resend it... If you've ever tried to file a claim for a missing package through USPS you know that it is a nightmare... And simply asking for the sender to resend an item is not that easy either especially considering USPS shows as it was delivered. Basically it's an oh well we lost your package, you deal with it. My package was stolen by a USPS employee at this location. Marked as delivered to our front door - we were here at the supposed time of delivery. "Tammy" the head of this particular office, told me that the 50-lb package was scanned "215 yards from the front door" of my house. Uh, excuse me? That puts it a couple blocks away! All this amid promises that she would call me back and let me know what happened. Nope. She never called. To top it off, we've had a drivers license stolen and two titles stolen in the past 3 months that the DMV claimed were mailed. Given that we have a locking mailbox....well you get the picture. I bet the postal inspector would have a field day with arrests at this particular post office. This place is a joke. I was just in there right now to ship a package. I ask the lady a question about my package label. I turn around to the desk behind me to write on my package; not 15 seconds later the shutters go down and the place is closed. No one said a word to me. This is inexcusable and unprofessional.
