I have used the Victoria location for years - the gentleman who previously owned it has retired. He was friendly, efficient, and professional. I won't be finding out if the new owners have ANY of those qualities - they don't seem to - because I'll use one of the other locations from now on. I've shipped things to my daughter from the Victoria location numerous times, so I know both myself and she are in the UPS database. I gave my daughter's address to the counter lady four times, plus my own phone number. When I had repeated "Portland, Oregon" four times, the counter lady then asked "what country?"... Sorry, but these people are too stupid to deserve anyone's trust, let alone anyone's business. I drove over to the store next to WinCo, where I'd never been before, and they found my info almost before I finished setting the package on the counter. Both this store and the Petit location are, you guessed it, "friendly, efficient, and professional", and have earned my business going forward. On their website for this particular store in Victoria, they have a notary. Early this morning I booked it for a 2 o'clock appointment. At 12:30 they called me and said the notary would not be there, but I could go to the notary at a UPS store 5 miles down the block. I called over there when I got through with my appointment at 1:30 and they said the notary just left. Why do they have on their website a place to book a notary if the notary is not going to be available!!! this is so inconvenient. Why don't you do like the rest of the UPS is with notary and have one of your employees or owners become a notary in California. Lots of waste of my time and I'm really pissed off that I booked it early in the morning and they didn't get back to me to say no there's no notary today until an hour and a half before my appointment read more

Don is the best! He always remembers us and our kids. We hadn't been to this location in a while, because we were going to the one closer to our home, but even then Don remembered us and made a comment about how much my children have grown. I usually visit the UPS store to make returns and I have never had any issues. I'm always in and out quickly. I have also shipped packages with them in the past and it was not so expensive. read more

I am beyond furious with this UPS location. Their Yelp listing clearly says they close at 5PM, so I rushed over to drop off an important document only to find a piece of paper taped to the door saying they actually close at 3PM. No warning, no update online, nothing. Because of this ridiculous misinformation, I missed the deadline for a scholarship that could've helped pay for college. This kind of negligence is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism. If you can't bother to keep your hours updated, you shouldn't be trusted with anyone's time or important deliveries. read more

I agree with everyone else upset about this store not operating during posted business hours. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate when people have the opportunity to go to a different location before they close. If you can't or don't want to adhere to the advertised hours, that's fine-but update the hours online and on the door (not with a temporary handwritten sign) to the times that suit you more appropriately. Do NOT waste peoples time & gas, and leave them a$$ out. Post the hours you wish to work, and ensure you will be open during said hours. The number one thing in running a successful business is CONSISTENCY. They probably close early because it's so slow in there...I wonder why...maybe it's because too many people have been let down this way and have decided to not even bother going here. I've tried to come here multiple times over the years, and they are never open. I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now, after reading reviews about the temperament and lack of professionalism regarding the people that work here, I'm actually grateful I've never had the pleasure of coming during a blue moon when they are open. Always such great service when I come to this store. Don is always so polite and professional. I've done notarized paperwork with him in the past as well as mailing packages. I had to send a package that would have been quite pricey to mail through him. He said it would be cheaper to mail through USPS. Honest and efficient. Can't beat that. Pick ups are easy breezy, too. Today I was out in less than 5 minutes. Just have your ID handy, sign a form and out you go. He's always willing to answer questions and gives you his honest opinion. read more

For quite a while, like over a year, this location frequently has a handwritten paper sign letting you know it will unexpectedly be closed this day - or that it closed hours early - or that's it's opening hours later. The excuse had long been that the primary owner was having health problems. Then sadly she passed away and the excuse was dealing with her affairs. I feel compassion towards the family but as far as a business goes...they are completely unreliable from the customer's point of view. They should consider hiring a part timer for the gaps. read more

Twice I had taken Amazon returns to this drop off location, both times the guy there (owner?) made me tape up the items for shipping. I am a petite, over 60, female, and one of the items was very heavy to mansur. He gave me a very hard time about returning it. The second time this happened, I remained him that he was a drop off location for Amazon, and I shouldn't have to do his job for him. He won't give me a receipt without me taping up the box. I left with my returns and went to the UPS Store on Telephone Road. That store actually did their job, without giving me a hard time. I will never go back to the store located on Victoria Avenue. This is the third time I've gone to this store that claims they close at 7 PM, and they're not open. Three different times, with more than 30 minutes to spare, to get there. Closed every time. Any place can work when things run smoothly, but when things don't, THAT is what makes a good business, and this guy doesn't know how to do anything about anything, really does not care about the situation he's put me in now, with hours of labor gone to waste and irreplaceable items forever gone, and hasn't done ANYTHING to try to keep my business. Per all the evidence, which is I mailed a package from this store, he scanned and it disappeared, this fool stole my package. He really does NOT care that it's gone. His laissez brah approach makes me think that he took it even more. So, unless you insure it, have back up receipts and don't mind the wait if you need to be reimbursed, go for it. I've had such good service at all the other UPS Stores. This place is a disaster! The guy behind the counter could care less about the goods you are shipping. He couldn't even get the name right on the package I was sending and said well if the address is right then it doesn't matter. I guess the .02 seconds it would take to make it right was too much to ask. The store itself is a mess and totally disorganized. The old woman who runs the store is very RUDE and not helpful at all!! I wouldn't ship with them or go in their store ever again. They won't give you any UPS envelopes, they want you to buy them. They don't carry UPS shipping labels. She told me to go the UPS hub, and Very rudely. I've been to the UPS store on Telephone and they are very helpful. This store was extremely messy, packages/boxes everywhere. The man working today 2/10/2021 in the afternoon, was rude & not welcoming at all. He went on to mention that overnight shipping was not guaranteed & after he quoted me $120.. there's no way. He also mentioned my "FRAGILE, this side up" sticker on my package did not matter, it was going to get tossed around anyway. I was over it. I went to USPS instead where they have a money back guarantee if your package does not make it on time. Never coming to this location. read more
