George is so nice! Very fast and friendly service. I will go here for all my postal needs from now on!

My husband and I went to Plaza Mail for the first time yesterday to have our passports renewed. We were met by Gopal the owner. His service was more than we could have expected. The process went so smoothly and the conversations we had were profound. What a wonderful human being he is. Has been in business for 30 years. I highly recommend this business and will recommend to everyone. May God continue to bless this man and his business. read more

The man who manages the store, i swear, is the kindest, most caring man I have ever met. This is now my second time returning to this location to get fingerprinted for my next job because of him, and I will 100% keep coming back because of how the store is run. So clean and so efficient. read more

Plaza Mail Center - Notaries Near Me - Oxnard, California

Passports for family of 3 (one renewal and two new): George was very helpful, yes, and I can tell he has a good relationship with his clientele. But I can't help but feel like I was mislead or overcharged for the services I received. The Oxnard post office/US passport advised I spread the word on this process. If you're renewing your passport - then plaza mail is a great option because it's quick and he does everything there (copies, payment, sending of the application) and you don't have to deal with the post office line. However for New passports - he can only help you get the application in order and make an appointment, but you will still have to go to the post office to verify and pay for everything. Keep in mind that passport applications can be filled out at home or ahead of time for free (I did this ahead of time and brought it in, thinking it would be faster). And you can also make the appointment for the post office online for free. Passport photos - at the post office, which you have to go to anyways, are $15. We were charged over $200 for this passport service -- Which was - passport photos (3), copies of our ids, and he made us an appointment for the post office for the following day. This Did Not include the cost of passports themselves. Which was another $300 at the post office. Like I said - all this can be done on your own, for free or at minimum, around $50. So if you feel unsure about your application and truly feel like you need the help getting it all together. You can go here. But if not, save yourself time and a lot of money and fill out the forms, make the appointment and get the passport photos yourself. read more

Beware: this is a very, very sketchy store. I made an appointment on a day I didn't have work a week in advance for finger printing. On the day of, I arrived a couple of minutes early. I walked into the store, no greeting. There were two gentlemen sitting on chairs talking. I approached a lady behind the counter and said that I was there for a finger printing appointment and she stated the man will help me. I stood there awkwardly as the two men kept talking and ignoring my existence. One man then asks me if I had an appointment, which I responded yes. He then continues to talk as I stood there clapping my hands to kill time and looking around the store from boredom. He finally gets up and asks me for two forms of ID. I gave him my DL and credit card since my email stated those were two forms of ID I could use and I had no trouble using it before. The man said he needs my social security card to scan and told me to reschedule. First of all, he did not need my social security to scan. No where in my email for my appointment states I need my social security as a third ID. This place is suspicious, I don't recommend coming here. Wasted my time that I could have gone somewhere else. read more

Avoid this place at all cost! Used this location as a UPS drop off since I wanted a safe spot so the package wouldn't be left at my door. Well, When my spouse arrived, the gentleman instructed to search among the other ups boxes sitting in front of the counter. Did not ask for the UPS slip or ID. just look on the counter for your package. Surprise, Surprise! Our package was not there bc apparently some random person picked it up. When asked about the policy of releasing packages to those whose name is not labeled, he said it was UPS's. UPS will not allow a package to be recieved by anyone other than the intended reciever unless a form is filled out. The man assured me that UPS will reimburse me for the value of the package and not to worry. I smell inside job! filed a theft report with local PD, immediatley called UPS to file a claim, and contacted Apple (the sender). This UPS drop off location, it's not safe. Boxes are left out in the open at customers' discretion to sort. Funny, how the man behind the counter said he had cameras but they do not record. Quality control is shit in this store. Go elsewhere! Will be filing a report with the BBB as well! read more

Called for an appointment to renew my passport, and was able to walk in and take care of everything for me. They told me it could take 2 months but I was surprised my new passport came in the mail within 2 1/2 weeks. I would highly recommend paying the extra fee to have the service I received. And did not have to wait weeks for my appointment with the post office or passport office. read more

I came here for fingerprints and passport renewal. George was wonderful. I was nervous about the whole process of getting my passport renewal completed, and he helped me step-by-step. Making the process painless, easy, and efficient. He made copies, packaged everything in order for it to be processed correctly - full service. There was a "Karen" in front of me yelling at him, for something that happened online on the government level (not his fault - at all), and he was patient and calm - helping her throughout the process. I was very impressed. When I was next, he didn't show any frustration regarding the "Karen", he just continued his professional ways. He made me feel comfortable, smile naturally, and take a beautiful passport picture. That alone 5 stars! Highly recommend this place. Thank you, George! read more

Very nice, fast service, no waiting, I recommend. it was a hot day and they offered cold water.

Came here twice for Livescan, always love coming here for the friendliest service! Highly recommend!

Came in for fieldprint fingerprinting. This is a service that is paid in advance. Gopa was very efficient. It is unfortunate, because afterwards he requested payment and said I would not have to pay if I showed him a 5 star review on yelp. I did this and upon leaving I am now updating my review. This unscrupulous business practice clearly an attempt at coerced 5 star reviews on yelp should not be tolerated. It is unfortunate because otherwise it was a very quick and efficient visit. read more

Very helpful when it came to doing my live scan. I came in without an appointment and it was quick

Love this place! George, the owner, is always happy to see me and greets me and everyone coming thru door with a welcoming smile and happy greeting. He offers an excellent service for passports, mailing, copying and post boxes. He'll even deliver your mail to your car if you call ahead. Very happy to have found this great place in my neighborhood! read more

Why do I need to pay $5 to pick up UPS package? If I'm not home at time of delivery UPS is welcome to try again tomorrow like they usually do. Why do I need to pay and go pick up at some shady office??? This is why I paid for shipping in the first place!!! It's not this office's fault it was sent there, but it is their fault for not setting up whatever deal they have with UPS to bill each other! STOP SCAMMING CUSTOMERS!! read more

I walked in to get my fingerprint scans for my real estate license and George (the owner) was extremely helpful. He was such a positive individual and great to talk to. Thanks, George! I'll definitely be coming back. Great value, excellent service! read more

Quick and easy professional business would recommend to anyone friendly owners who meet your needs

Avoid this one. They failed two times to turn in my passport application in correctly. It would have been better to go to post office or to just fill out my passport application two times throw it away then mail in the third one. Same effort and faster. These people can't help you or won't. read more

Quick and easy - thought I'd have to waste half a day (or at least a couple of hours) to get my passport renewed - took about 15 minutes. Friendly and helpful, too. read more

This place is a disgusting rip off. I went in months ago to mail back my iPhone. I was way over charged. It should've been under $10 but the owner said he couldn't send the phone out USPS only fed ex was available that day. Really? This is a mail center correct? I paid the $30 & went on with my life. I went back in today to mail off a small package for Christmas since its next door to my gym. The owner didn't ring me up in the cash register, didnt give me a receipt just over charged me & told me to write on a generic mail sticker the to & from destination. I will never go there again & encourage anyone who doesn't want to be ripped off to do the same. #doesntspeakenglish #ripoff read more
