I insisted on taping it closed, and she totally dropped me and did other things essentially still leaving my package unattended on the customer counter. Even when I told her how important it was to me, she was wholly unresponsive and apathetic. No reassurances here. Hopefully the tracking pulls through and it does get to where it's supposed to be going. The receipt I received said my package weighed almost 30 pounds... when in reality it had to have weighed closer to 1 pound. So even my receipt doesn't give me reassurance.

She got up with an annoyed look, never greeted me, completed the entire transaction without saying a single word, handed me the receipt, and walked away. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and strange. I genuinely felt like I was an inconvenience simply for being there. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've experienced this type of customer service at this location. A simple greeting and basic courtesy would go a long way. As an eBay seller for the past 19 years with over 2,000 individual sales, I know a thing or 2 about…read moreshipping. I'll give you the cliff notes. USPS is cheapest, then UPS, then FedEx being the most expensive. There is a reason for this: FedEx takes that absolute best care of your packages during shipment. I never offer FedEx as a shipping option for any of my sales, because most buyers are too cheap to factor shipping price as an expense. In this one-off occasion, I sold a rather large item & at a high price. The buyer needed specific (& rare item) by a very specific date. Luckily, he was smart enough to spare no expense to make sure to cover any fees for a timely + safe delivery. For such a specific occasion, I did offer to ship via the pricey FedEx, but he was smart enough to know that investing in shipping costs would guarantee that he would get his prized & highly valuable item in perfect condition before his expected date. Just a friendly heads-up: FedEx has an "East Coast Cut-Off" deadline. Meaning, if your item is registered to be shipped (past 4:30pm PST), it ships next day, so you mind as well have shipped it as late as 4:29pm PST the following day. Ken was a rockstar. Granted, it was obvious that he had his hands full doing many tasks that are evident of needing to be done by multiple people, he didn't hesitate to take care of me at 4:22pm & had my package checked-in by 4:28pm - 2 minutes before the cut-off. If you need to guarantee that your item arrives safely, I recommend shelving out the extra cash for FedEx. Especially for those larger packages.
