I started coming to this store during COVID for all of my Amazon returns. It's always pretty busy, regardless of the time. However, the line moves quick, and they have a super friendly helpful staff. I've always had a great experience at this store. Even though I live across town and have a UPS store less than a mile from me, I choose to drive to the Copper Hill location. The store near me has repeatedly lost mail, while Copper Hill has always been reliable. The staff here is friendly, helpful, and efficient--whether it's handling regular mail or Amazon returns. In response to Krystina down below Wow... that's definitely not what happened. I was actually in the store that day, and let's just say the only rude behavior came from your side of the counter. The employee explained that they only provide printed passport photos He even clarified that he didn't know about the new online renewal process, and you two immediately "popped off" telling him he should know. Your dad assumed they do digital photos just because in his own words "you're taking it with a digital camera." That's not how it works and asking before assuming would've saved the whole situation. He even offered to cancel the charge and let you go without a charge which he did. Also, recording someone and then acting shocked that they seemed annoyed and have an attitude? Come on. In response to Krystina V's review. I was there. There was another customer who also wanted a passport photo who also didn't know we couldn't get a digital copy. She refused the hard copy and also left when we did. I don't recall another customer present at the time. None of that is relevant to the main issue. I agree we should have asked if we could get a digital copy before the picture was taken. I saw the digital camera, therefore thought we could get the photo digitally. The issue was the attitude of the male employee when we realized he was making hard copy photos which require you to mail the passport and new photo to the passport service. I told him we were doing it online, which is the fastest and preferred method of renewal. He told us "we just take the photos and don't need to know the process." He could have told us, I'm sorry, but we don't do digital photos. It's no big deal if you don't want the hard copy. I would have apologized for the mix up and we would have left. I took exception to how he spoke to us, not that he could only produce a hard copy photo. He works in a customer service position and could have handled it better. The implication that my daughter lied about the incident is insulting. Her review should stand as is. I have been to this store many times without incident. I'm not going to stop patronizing this store because of one employee, but he does need to check his tone when speaking to customers. read more

My daughter was the customer that was treated so rudely on 2/28. Those flowers were packed as neat as we could do it in fresh clean new white trash bags (as to not loose any) the stems all bound together with rubber bands. I know because I helped her do it. The fact that you pass it off as Amazon's fault is a joke!What you need to realize is these neighborhoods around here have neighborhood chats and they talk about experiences they've had in the community, good and bad. If your community stops patronizing your business sometime in the future you won't have one. The owner makes money off of Amazon so if you don't like it, maybe you should get a new job. read more

Tiny place, the line was long but people in front of us were helped pretty quickly. Until it got to us. We were made to wait so the one who originally was available could chat with a customer on the phone. Wasn't bad enough to throw a BF, just a little annoying as there were no other customers behind us & we were just dropping pre-labeled / pre-paid boxes off. Women behind the counter weren't friendly & couldn't be bothered with taking the boxes from us. Instead, the woman helping us made us stack the boxes we carried in on a pile by the door for her. Good place to go if you are just running in and out. Nice location & lots of parking. read more

This store always allows UPS trucks or Prime drivers to park in front or in the handicap spaces and block disabled people from being able to park. Several complaints agave been made to the store and they never make the drivers move the trucks. This is unacceptable to the handicap community. read more

What a waste of a trip! Choose any other UPS store. The UPS in Castaic was super friendly and helpful! The Copper Hill UPS can't accept International packages after 3:30pm because only one person is trained to do that (how would you know til u drive all the way there?). Also they had no bubble wrap to even wrap my package! What's the point in even having this store if it can't provide ANY services? Poorly run. Won't go again. Gave my business (over $300 worth of packing and shipping) to the Castaic UPS. read more

I just don't like this place. Employees are curt, talk over you and seem annoyed by a customer interrupting them to purchase their services. Their "Thank you" and "Have a nice day" come across to me as fake and perfunctory. I always print out the addresses when I use a store so there is no issue with reading my hand writing or not hearing me clearly. Despite this the gal could not get the addresses correct. Beware of this spot!!!!! I had $600 package of music festival wristbands magically disappear. The person in charge will not help, will not call back and will not communicate. My employee is waiting in Austin for the show, and her tickets were "lost". She instead received a sized 3xl sweater. So we are out plane tickets, hotel and the festival tickets and can't even get a reply back. I tried calling the location only to have it ring and ring. I finally got someone to pick up and put me hold. They never came back on the line. I stayed on hold and drove my car there and was still on hold. The man would not help. He continued to help other customers. I left and went and got my husband. Apparently he is not willing to speak to a female. Once my husband came back, he said he would take steps and call by 11. We have never heard back. We called to store repeatedly, for an employee to say the guy is a jerk, treats them badly and he is not surprised. He even tried to help, called other locations owned by the owners to try and help. He was told to "stay out of it". So multiple store owners know, are telling employees not to address and not handling. This was sent from out corporate account. It is expensive tickets, he misplaced them and does not care at all. I have no idea how they stay in business and UPS is really going down hill. There is so much more to this story, but at this point, they have chosen to steal and then hide. read more

When you send a date sensitive item to the IRS and proof of it's arrival is crucial you send it "certified". Just don't do it here, especially if you do not know a LOT more about logistics than the person behind the counter. I have been here on two separate occasions where I did not receive, and had to ASK for the tracking number to affix to the return receipt. It has been several months since I last used their services so I thought I would give them another shot, since this location is close to home. Before stopping in to request a notary I decided to read the reviews. Upon seeing so many accounts that echo the incompetence I experienced, I have decided to go elsewhere. On November 26, 2019, I used UPS services to mail two separate certified, return receipt documents to the Franchise Tax Board and IRS. The manager, Patrick, was training a new hire this day. He assisted him with the IRS document and the new hire processed the Franchise Tax Board document independently. Today USPS knocked at my door and returned my Franchise Tax Board document for no postage. Here we are almost a month later and I just now I received my document back for insufficient postage. I returned to the UPS store and spoke with Patrick. I explained to him that my IRS document was received because I had the signed return receipt however, the FTB document was returned for no postage. I requested that he send my FTB document next day, certified with a return receipt at their expense. I was appalled when he told me it looked like there was a postage stamp on it and blamed USPS and refused to take responsibility for his error. As you can clearly see on my document there is no indication that a stamp was placed on it or accidentally removed. He refused to send my document next day air and said he could only send my document via USPS, 2nd day and that I would have to cover the difference between my certified, return receipt and the second day air cost! I told him I did not agree with this and it was bad business practice on his part yet he refused to cover the expense and mail the document next day air. He also did not take responsibility for not placing postage on my high priority tax document. I have used UPS for decades and I trust this is not the way UPS conducts business with valued customers. I have never encountered this type of treatment from UPS before and I will never conduct business at UPS Copperhill again. I will be filing a formal complaint and a complaint with the FTC. Great team and excellent customer service! I cant understand why they have any bad reviews. I am a regular at this store, as a main part of my business is shipping products to doctors. I was in there the other week on a Sat and saw first hand just how hard their job is. PLEASE READ DOWN BELOW! The team members working that day were Candice and Joe. As I waited in line the system shut down which was completely out of their control. This is when I saw just how rude customers can be. However at no point did Candice or Joe loose their cool. They offered the customers as many options as possible until the system was back and running. The system was only down for 15-20 mins, but for some that appeared to be an eternity. I have lived in Santa Clarita for 6 years and have come to the unfortunate conclusion that many people living out here are inpatient and rude. After the store closed I contacted the manger to inform him of the situation. I let him know that he has a great team and that he should appreciate just how hard they work. read more

These people do not run a good business. I went in there the other day. I overheard them telling another customer that the price per stamp was 55 cents per stamp - almost 10 cents more than thru USPS. I needed to buy 2 sheets of stamps and have some packages shipped. I asked the young girl at the counter if the sheets of stamps were USPS prices, or "their price" - she reasurred me that so long as I was buying a sheet of stamps it was the same as USPS. I also asked the same of my packages. I left the store and went to frozen yoghurt with my kids. I came back to the store shortly after because my receipt showed that I had been charged THEIR prices of 55 cents per stamp! I had specifically asked the girl if I was getting USPS prices. Not only did she lie to me but she over charged me on my packages. I was fuming. I will not be lied to. I called later that week once I had calmed down and asked for the owner. She gave me his name but was VERY VERY rude to me on the phone. When I finally got the owner on the phone, he clearly couldn't have cared less about my experience. I will never shop here again. The prices per stamp are ridiculous and they have no integrity. They are dishonest and rude. read more

First time using Amazon textbook rental and UPS....I have lived a sheltered life. So easy! Printed the shipping label online, walked into the store with the book and the labels, and handed it over. And that was that! Didn't need to buy a box or wrap it up or anything, UPS does all that for you. Girl at the counter was nice and helpful, love that this location is in a small shopping center where not many people seem to venture to so it wasn't crowded at all, considering the season. Joe, the employee who works at this store is the WORST! First off he sauntered in at 8:35 am without a care in the world.. 3 people were waiting outside wondering if they were even going to open.. one person gave up and left which led to me and another person waiting to get in. Long story short Joe was rude, condescending and treated me with absolute disrespect! He had absolutely no care that I was going to report him to Patrick his supervisor. Okay! I spoke with Patrick later in the day and I appreciated that it mattered to him that his employee Joe was so nasty to me. I also told Patrick he could care less that I was going to report him. That's a good sign right? . Patrick then asked if I wanted to speak to the owner. I said absolutely. Later that day Mario, the owner, told me they were handling the situation.. Mario did apologize for Joe's behavior but I didn't get the impression he cared that much. Needless to say I wouldn't go back to that store even if you paid me.. who needs that treatment! Mario!
