This was for a toddler and getting a perfect photo was nearly impossible, with her constructive feedback and government guidelines I was able to get the photo at home and she helped with sizing, formatting and printing right away. When I went to pick up the photo another team member assisted me and was very kind. Most importantly the photo looked great! I didn't have to wait in line, all in all great experience! Your driver Jose in Oxnard, CA failed to review my FedEx App that had delivery instructions including gate code and home phone number. He pretended that I was not home and just took off without delivery. I stayed home all day waiting. This happens way too often. I will never trust FedEx delivery again. FedEx apparently hires uneducated lazy drivers who may not even speak English. Buyer beware. read more

Came in to print some documents. Employees didn't approach or assist unless asked. Answers were generic and short and that was that. Feeing like they didn't want to be bothered, I did work up the courage to approach Daniel. He helped and assisted me on the computer which is what I really just needed to do. Thankful for him! Instead of just printing it, he actually scanned it and ensured that everything was correct. I ended up having two spelling errors in large, bold letters, so I can't thank Mary enough. I just needed to print out a single document. I have a printer at home; however, that printer has been giving me trouble on and off. It seems like every time I need to print something out, the printer "needs to be aligned." Or it's nearly "out of ink," although I just recently got all the ink refilled. After screaming, "What do you want from me?!" at the machine, I decided to go to fedex to get the document printed. I haven't been here for awhile, so when I walked up, I was shocked to discover the building was being cleaned out and pretty much empty. Seeing the dejected look on my face, a lady came out to let me know that they had moved....to the other side of Vineyard cafe. So I made my less than minute walk over. The new location seems as big as the old location, but newer looking. Prepared with my email password and credit card, I readied myself to quickly log into the computer that charges 45 cents a minute for internet in order to go to my email and print out my document. However, an employee there asked me if I was printing out something from my email. "Yes," I answered. "Well, you can send your document to printandgo@fedex.com. You'll receive an email with a code to put in the printer, then you can print out your document." I did exactly what he suggested. I got the code within a minute or two. You can preview the document (just to make sure you have the right one), then you use your credit card to pay to print it out. I think the one page cost me like 18 cents. After I got my much needed document, I seriously considered buying a bat to go all "Office Space" on my at-home printer. FedEx office was 5 stars for me, but my at-home printer gets a F for frustrating! read more

Dropped off a package for delivery on a Monday and was told it would get there in two days. The package didn't arrive til the following Monday. I called customer service three times and they all lied about why it was late. I gave the employee the address that was written down and he messed up entering in the info. The package ends up being late and customer service didn't tell me why until I confronted them about it. Tried to get a refund but because it's not priority, they said they couldn't do anything. Pathetic af. Should have went to UPS or USPS instead. read more

Called ahead of time to make sure they had time to complete my order. They did so I brought in 109 calendars to have them drill holes in them for hanging. The employees who helped me were all very friendly and polite. I was a little worried about using FedEx for this but I couldn't find anyone else with the machines to drill/punch papers so I took a chance. My order was ready when they said it would be, which was great. 8.2% of the calendars had one or more bad or ugly holes. Scraps of paper in the hole, holes not 100% complete, or tears in the paper. This is way better than if I'd try to do drill them myself, but I do sort of expect something more from a business that has the professional tools and presents themselves as completely capable of handling my project. I think what they needed to do was put some scrap paper under the stack of calendars so the calendars weren't the very bottom of the drilling. I am guessing the bottom pages were the ones that got messed up since it was always the last months that were bad on the calendars that did have problems. I didn't notice this until I got home since the majority were fine and looked okay when I flipped through them at the counter. One other thing, I told them I wanted the smallest hole - I said I wanted 1/8". Apparently their smallest drill bit was 3/16" since that's what I got instead without them calling to check with me on that size hole. Not terrible, but not technically what I asked for/expected. Overall "Okay" job. In the future I'll try harder to get the calendar company to drill the holes since I trust them to do it right. Oh, they were ridiculously cheap for this task too. Less than $20 to drill 109 calendars. That part was 5 stars. read more

Came in on a whim to get some cuts on a stack of tickets I printed out at my home office. Customer Service rep Daniel explained to me that my stack of tickets, a good 125 sheets thick, had a bit of a curl which would make the precision on the cuts be a little bit off. As much as I've come into FedEx Office for the same cuts here and there, and know about the slip on the cuts, I totally appreciate Daniel communicating with me to make things clear and give me fair warning that the accuracy might be off. I assured him things would be okay if it was slightly off. He proceeded to cut my stacks and they all came out fine. I've been to other FedEx office locations in Ventura County, and their reps would go ahead and cut and even take guesses on my cuts where crop marks are indicated which led me to unhappy visits. Walked in, greeted another customer who said, "nobody here." I think she was hoping I worked there. She said she had rung the bell, but she did so again several more times. We could clearly hear the bell ring in the back area. She had two returns, sitting on the counter. After what seemed an eternity, a man appeared. Greeted us, and the asked if we rang the bell. "many times" my reply. He asked what we needed, and the lady began to explain she needed to return two boxes. He stooped over and began to read her labels - I said, "I just need an envelope." No response. "Hello, I just need an envelope please." Other customer offered that he could certainly hand me an envelope. .. During the time we were waiting, we had chatted, and she said she normally goes elsewhere, specifying a location on Main St in Ventura. By the time I realized this guy was not going to hand me an envelope, I looked at her, and said I'd go try the other place. Walked out. Kinkos in Ventura was very fast and friendly, BTW. read more

FedEx, Kinkos, FedEx and Kinkos? I get so confused... Apparently the switch over to FedEx Office is complete and there is no more Kinkos. I had to stop by here today to ship a package with a pre-paid label that happened to be FedEx. I was happy that it was shipped with FedEx and not UPS...not that I have anything against UPS but the FedEx Office experience always seems to be better than my UPS Store experience. This store is located in the same plaza as the Morgan Stanley building and the Habit. It is actually located just feet away from the Habit and Papa John's. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly...according to his name tag he has worked for the company for over a decade. He was very witty...everything he said was basically a one liner joke...like when I told him I needed a strip of tape for my box and he replied that it would only be a $20 service charge. (He was kidding of course.) He took care of my shipment and provided me with a receipt for the whole transaction no problem. This isn't exactly the easiest location to get to, its on one side of a divided road. That coupled with the fact that a Kinkos type business is a little less relevant than it used to be keeps this location at 4 stars instead of 5 for myself. Ana was incredibly helpful with the shipment and packing of some vintage car parts that I had just purchased from a third party. All of my communication with her was by phone, and she completely understood the scope of what I was requesting on my initial call; she was clear and precise her communication and came up with a complete game plan for receiving the wheels from the third party, packing them safely so they wouldn't be damaged, and getting them shipped and delivered to me. She truly made it so easy! I was totally blown away by the customer service! So uncommon these days to come across someone like Ana that gets it and makes things happen so smoothly. read more

At 6:03pm I was in to purchase paper. As I entered the store, the girl working walked passed me, never making eye contact, and huffed as she stated "we're closed". The store was full of customers. When I started to ask if I could buy a quick ream of paper, she said "sorry, we're closed" and walked away again. All of the customers looked surprised at her behavior. While I understand they closed 3 minutes earlier, I was also disappointed to see that a local business does not need the money enough to make a quick sale. Most of all, it's disheartening to see such poor communication and customer service. Sadly, this is not the 1st bad experience at this store. I went in to mail 7 sheets of paper through FedEx on 3/11/2021. 2 associates helped me and weighed the envelope for me so it was accurately billed. Now I just received a charge for the service that is $10 more than what they advised that day and what I expected. I'm my 30 yrs working in the corporate world I have never worked with a more friendly / genius / caring / individual ever . I have had 2 interactions with only and both times he has exceeded what I see as the best customer service person ever . I can't write details because it would require 3 or 4 pages but during these horrible / difficult times Daniel has risen to each occasion to personally go out of his way to give me the best service and advice to save money as possible . Apparently Kinkos is now FedEx Office or vice versa like what Eric N. said. Only reason I bring this up is after Yelping Kinkos vs. what was posted on the location after arriving is two different things. Anyhow, it started earlier today with the circumstance of needing your office fundamentals such as a printer & scanner. I have a Mac without Microsoft Word and the wife has a new PC that isn't compatible with our current printer/scanner. After Yelping the location I proceeded with hope to utilize their computer, printer, and scanner. Computer rental was approx. $.40 a minute along with additional printing cost. It was a bit frustrating in the beginning because after the time had started their network would not allow me to log into YAHOO for some reason, but as the saying goes "squeaky wheel gets the oil" I flagged down one of the associates and easy as pie the worker assisted to work around the network block as well as compensated the money back for the hassle. Helpful staff, clean facility, reasonable price. read more

I dread having to drop off items at this location. Use UPS and USPS anytime over these guys but sometimes with those prepaid labels you don't have a choice. Always trying to tell you your packaging isn't good enough, not taped enough or some other excuse to try and up-sell you on an expensive box, tape or other services. Also, everyone there has a major attitude. Stay away. I hand my package to a driver and all was good. Btw...the drivers at FedEx are awesome. I go to FedEx Kinkos all the time for printing sheet music, it's way cheaper then buying ink cartridges every time I print lol. Today it was very busy because it's three days from Christmas and honestly I had to wait a while to be helped, everyone trying to frantically send of Christmas gifts in the mail, and taking five hours holding up the line trying design their 2020 calendar with cute pictures of their dog. Design it at home, come on people. There was only one person working so it took extra long. And it was so close to closing that I almost wasn't going to be helped. But in the nick of time, I was helped by Juliena R, she got my 6 books bound together in a matter of minutes, while helping 2 other customers at the same time! She was working at a speed that could only be matched by Santa's elves themselves! There was 3 people working and I was the only standing in front of the printers, it took 3 tries to print because the system keep login me out, they need to update their system it's outdated, then when I finally print it kicked me out nd printed on 11x17, why would the settings be set to 11×17? Could have set up a pick up but since i was driving around thought i would just drop off a prepaid packing box from a lab. They said the box wasn't sufficient and i would need to pay for a box when this was the box the lab supplied, and I'm sure I'm not their first client sending a lab in. I said no so they said i had to drive across town( back home) and schedule a pickup( which they wouldn't even help me arrange). What a waste of space this location is. Excellent service and attitude from Steve at the Oxnard location. I went into the Ventura location at 8:30pm on Thursday night and needed a 200 page color catalog printed out. They didn't look that busy and their attitude wasn't very helpful and they said they couldn't complete the project by 11am the next morning. I understood because I too work on a lot of projects at the same time, and sometimes you're full up with work. I had to ask if there was another Fedex around that I could take my job to, and they said yes, there was one in Oxnard, again, I had to ask for a number and I called that location immediately. Steve answered the phone and said he could do the job. I had 15 minutes to get from the Ventura to Oxnard location, and he said that I shouldn't speed to get there. I arrived at 4 minutes to 9 (your closing time) and he was helping another customer. He told me he'd get right to me after that. I waited and he finished with his other customer and then got to work helping me. He was very helpful and even though it was after 9, he didn't care. He talked about the project with me, and made sure he understood everything that needed to be done. He also took the time to look up my account and see what discounts I had. I left feeling confident my project was in the right hands. Then next day, I came by at 10:45 and the job was ready and looked exactly as I'd wanted. He remembered me and he rang me up and made sure I had the appropriate discounts and gave me a discount sheet for the next time I come by. Both times I worked with Steve he was cracking jokes and being incredibly friendly. First of all- the store is a complete mess! Pretty unprofessional, made me think twice- but I needed copies of 3 sets of plans quickly. Left my set of plans along with my phone number and was specifically told I would receive a phone call as soon as they were done later that same day. Never got that call. I stopped in the following day to pick up my sets of plans only to find that the copies were made, but NOTHING was stapled back into since sets of plans. I received a single stack ofall 10 pages of each set rolled together, out of order and not stapled as I specifically asked for. Is photo-copying and stapling that hard to do? Following direction that difficult? I asked the girl at the register what happened, why my plans were put together as asked- she of course blamed the other guy. Didn't offer to fix the issue- I will not bring my printing and copying to this store again- EVER. read more
