I wish I could not even give this store one star. I was absolutely humiliated and embarrassed by the employees here today. When I first walked in, two female employees were both on their cell phones. Neither acknowledged me until I said hello. Another customer walked in at the same time, and we were both told we needed to go back outside to access our shipping information because, despite the WiFi password being posted, we were told not to use it and instead "go outside for service." The other customer and I even commented to each other about how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt, almost as though we were inconveniencing the employees simply by asking for help. I proceeded with my shipment and was initially quoted one shipping price after clearly explaining the details of my package. Once everything was processed, I was then told the actual price was nearly double -- $270. I completely understand that shipping prices themselves are not the employees' fault, and I was polite when I explained that I would need to explore other shipping options due to the cost. What I do not understand is the behavior that followed. I asked if I could borrow the dolly because my two packages together weighed around 120 pounds. One employee gestured toward the back and told me to go get it myself. I did not feel comfortable walking behind the counter into their back office area, so instead I carried the first package out to my car manually. When I walked back in for the second package, the same employee suddenly raised her voice at me and accused me of "throwing a fit" because I had supposedly asked her to do three things at once. I was completely shocked because I had not asked her to do anything beyond borrowing the dolly. She continued yelling at me, saying she did not need to help me at all. I then reached for a business card on the counter and asked if the person listed was the manager. She pointed to a man -- who was also on his cell phone -- and confirmed he was. He had been standing there listening to the entire interaction and watching her yell at me without stepping in once. When I asked to speak with him, his response felt extremely dismissive. While he was apologizing, the employee continued yelling over him, and he never once asked her to stop, step away, or behave professionally. I told him she should be apologizing for the way she treated me and making an effort to correct the situation. Her response was simply that she "would not apologize." At that point, I informed them I would no longer be doing business there, and the manager's only response was, "I'm sorry to hear that." I am disgusted by the complete lack of professionalism, customer service, and accountability shown in this store. I will be escalating this experience to UPS corporate. I also attempted to file a complaint through the BBB, only to discover this location is not accredited and currently holds a C+ rating due to unanswered customer complaints. read more

Great service. The employees seem to care about how you feel about your experience when you leave the store. They are friendly and helpful.

Worst customer service. Was returning something to be shipped off as this location was one of the UPS stores that accept returns for this company. Explained to her that the email sent to us had a glitch with the QR code, but the email did provide a code at the bottom. She replied quite curtly "Well, what do you want me to do with that!". It is not hard to say "I'm sorry we would still need to have the QR code." It's not hard to be nice! I do want to add the other girl with the longer black hair was nice and when I figured out to email the company to resend me a QR code, I was glad the other girl helped us and she mentioned nicely "Oh yes! horrible horrible staff. everyone is grumpy all the time. a staff was smoking by the back door but standing inside the store. another time i came in 15min before closing and the person told me she cannot take me. she said she has other things she needs to do.... note to people who work at this store. if you don't want customers to come in and you can't help them, shut the door so customers don't come in. better yet, close the store. i'm reporting this store to amazon and inform amazon this store refuses returns for amazon. i ended up going to ups at arneil where the staff was happy to help. taking my business there. read more

I went in carrying 3 heavy boxes to be told they couldn't ship as I requested. When I asked for them to call another UPS store they told me they didn't have the number and that I could google the number and do it my self. When you go to a store you expect them to be polite and helpful. They were sitting on chairs and were very rude. read more

I had to go to this location to mail a package and return some things from amazon and everyone who was working were very kind. shipping anything these days is very expensive but I was able to get a good price and and when i asked, they were happy to package my items for me. Not going back. Was asked for $2 for tape. If I had known I needed to tape up a return beforehand unwind have at home. I have plenty of tape at home that I bought from YOU. I am all for small business but this place is terrible !!! I needed a notary so I scheduled my appointment online for 1:00pm. I got there and they told me that their notary doesn't come in till 3:00pm. I asked why do they have online appointment scheduling and they send a confirmation and reminder if they don't follow their appointment schedule? They said it was corporate and they don't have control over it. I came back after work and talked to their notary "Gursupreet Singh Chahal". No apology. No I'm sorry for the inconvenience nothing. Just RUDE!! I will never ever go back there. And I would never suggest anyone who needs a notary go there either. read more

Went to the UPS store on Verdugo in Camarillo. I was returning for my disable client. I read the paperwork before I went in. Nowhere did it say I needed to 'repackage' it. Just hand it to the cashier and show them the QR Code. The rude snot at the register told me it can't ship that way as it shipping through ground, but and attitude, head wobble and all. I checked again and showed her it didn't say that. She just stared at me. So I went to another UPS Store where they scanned the QR Code and took the package to ship and gave me a receipt. I hope I've got the right location...when I Googled it, it gave me 2 locations on Verdugo Way...my review is for the location near Mamas Hummus. there is a woman who works there who I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with, after a long absence. she was pregnant awhile back and was nasty and unhelpful before, and now she is back. I wanted to return something to Amazon, she came up to me and snarled, "That's fine, but it's not free! You have to pay for the return, you have to buy a postal box and pay us for packaging. that will be at least $6.95." I kind of stepped back and realized I remembered her from before she was pregnant, and she has always been that way. at least to me. I said, "Okay, I'll be back." I'm a liar. I left and went to the other UPS store on Las Posas where I was helped by a very nice man who helped me and charged me $3.00. This particular UPS store is close to me and I've frequented it quite often...when she was gone. They were cheerful, helpful and efficient. Not now, for sure! read more

I share many of the same complaints that others have experienced. I try to avoid this location because every time I visit I experience rude and unprofessional staff at this location. I understand that Amazon returns are a pain, but it's part of this business. Every time I come to return something it's like it is a major inconvenience to the people working there. On my last trip I didn't see that the item I was returning was to be "customer packed" so I returned a few days later with it in a box and asked if they had any tape to secure the package. I was told it was going to cost me $2 to tape the package. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is price gouging at its finest. I haven't ever experienced this or the terrible customer service at any of UPS store other locations. Sean you can do better. read more

Came in ten minutes before closing and was so grateful for the staff's help, specially Sean!! He answered all my questions via phone and the phone only made a few rings. It was my first time at a UPS store and Sean knew exactly how to help me. I handed him my boxes and printed labels and he took care of processing it for me right away. My boxes were huge so I appreciated that they thoughtfully propped the door open for me while I left to retrieve my second box. read more

Went in for an Amazon return. UPS used to gladly tape up my box. Now they want to charge me to tape the box or sell me tape. Just one more reason for me to stop buying gifts and shipping them thru UPS and just have Amazon ship them for free. read more

This store has the worst customer service ever. I am a customer of many years and have bought cards and other items there . I had stopped in to the store to do a return and I had another return that just needed to be dropped in outgoing mail. The man said " I can't take this ? All he had to do was put it in the outgoing mail. That's going the extra mile to save the customer having to go to the post office. I won't be back here again. I came in this morning to return an amazon package and I'm in shock at how mean and rude their employee "Salma" was. She yelled and embarrassed me in front of other people and almost made me cry simply because my package wasn't packaged correctly/taped up. I brought in the original Amazon package how I received it. It clearly had all the Amazon stickers and labels still on the box. She wanted me to put that original package into another box and then give it to her. Then she charged me $2 to tape it up. I don't mind paying $2 but it was her attitude and rudeness that completely caught me off guard. If this is the experience we get for returning an item to Amazon, it was not worth the anxiety and stress. I'm so surprise, people like this can get a job. read more

I can't speak better things about KATIE and CHLOE!! I came 10 minutes before closing so I already felt really bad but they were so nice and helpful. I left my phone at home so one of them let me use their phone to contact a family member. My envelope came apart and they taped it up for me. They really went above and beyond for me. Did this location go under an Ownership change? The Customer Service is horrible. I've been there twice in the past couple of months. Both experiences weren't good. MY Neighbor sent my expensive camera from Camarillo to ORLANDO , FLORIDA. iT NEVER ARRIVED. i CALLED THE CAMARILLO OFFICE AND RECEIVED THREE DIFFERNT RESPONSES to MY INQUIRY:1, THAT IT WAS DELIEVEERED IN Orlando, 2, it was damaged and it was at the Moorpark station, 3. It was lost. Take your pick, I WAS THEN TOLD THAT THE REMEDY FOR Their confusion WAS That they would refund the cost of mailing it was approximately 1OO DOLLARS AND THAT i should have taken out insurance. I have been getting my printing and shipping services at this UPS for years and the previous owner was great. However, the new-ish and current owner (Sean/Shawn) is completely unresponsive and does not appear to care about the client/customer, at all. I encountered a shopping issue and went to discuss the matter with Sean. He appeared apathetic but told me he would look into the matter and call me. When I did not hear from him in over a week, I went back to the store and spoke with him. Again, he was indifferent and seemed not to care at all about the problem I had with the shipping of my package. Nevertheless, he said he would look into the matter and call me. He never did. This was over a month ago. It is clear that Sean does not care about the customer and there is no "good faith" from him when it comes to business. Since I believe in strong working relationships and in trust, I will no longer do business there . Even though this location is only a mile from my house, I will drive all the way to the other UPS store near Sprouts to send my packages. read more

These workers are horrible. No masks (or they're pulled down around their chins), abrasive, miserable-acting people who clearly dislike many of their customers. Oddly, they rarely put the labels directly on my pre-bagged or boxed Amazon return packages - they just leave the labels loose. Why? One of my recent boxes was not received by a different retail store. I will go out of your way to go somewhere else. read more

Charging $5 to hold a package for an hour is outrageous and a ripoff.

Both the ups store in Camarillo is very bad. The one in verdugo way charges $2 to put a piece of tape on top the box. Otherwise you will have to purchase their overpriced tape on the shelf. The guy who works there is extremely rude. read more

I love to support family owned businesses so I wasn't going to leave a review because it's not a good one after my encounter with the girl named Katie and the young man that was working with her during the holidays. It's a long story but she was clearly having a bad day and snapped! It ended with her loudly yelling at me and telling me I should know better (regarding taping a package). When I asked her not to yell at me she said "I'm not yelling at you but I can if you want me to" in a threatening tone. I was shocked and asked for the owner. She said he wasn't there. When I called to ask the name of the young man that was working that morning (because he was just as rude) HE HUNG UP ON ME. I could not believe how extremely rude they were. Because I couldn't reach anyone by phone I came in later that day to speak to the manager. She apologized and said she would tell the owner but who knows if anything happened. I now have PTSD about going in there which is sad because it's close to my house. I have driven out of my way because I don't want to support a business that allows people to be abusive and rude to the public. read more

I recently needed to return a large item to an Amazon seller, so I decided to go to the UPS store on Verdugo Way in Camarillo. Let me tell you the service was amazing! Christian went out of his way to offer to bring the package in from my car and walk me through the best options for shipping. He was extremely pleasant and professional and even though he had a line of customers he made sure that he checked in to each person to let them know he would be right with them while he was going above and beyond with my shipment. I would recommend this location for any of your shipping needs. This is what customer service is supposed to be like. :) read more

This is a great resource for Pleasant Valley residents. It makes returns to Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, etc. super easy. You can easily drop off Fed Ex, UPS or DHL pre paid packages. It's frequently busy but the customer service more than makes up for the wait. read more

This review is for print services only. It's a very poorly run part of the business. I ordered a simple print job online. It was confirmed that the order was due the following day. I ended up being able to go four days later. First they didn't even realize I had ordered. Then they called the owner because he handles it all and confirmed that they indeed had my order but said it would take awhile and be ready by 5 pm they Day. I asked if I could get a confirmation somehow and he just said it will be ready by 5. Well the email had said it would be ready by three days prior so I thought asking for a confirmation was reasonable but I guess they don't do that? Well I go back the following day, not having any communication. Ku should have called ahead but I was in the area and thought surely they would have contacted me if anything was wrong. Well apparently they had trouble with their system and had to give me a refund. I understand these issues happen but it was handled pretty poorly by the owner. I will say the customer service gentleman was polite and parking was easy. I wouldn't recommend print services here. read more
