Okay what a great little local gem that I'm sorry I've overlooked. Sometimes places just don't "stand out" to you for whatever reason and I've passed by this store for years not giving a real thought to what they were. Coincidentally I found myself in this shopping center doing some of my usual errands and the word postal caught my eye. I knew I had to go into the post office later in the day but when I found them I was eager to check them out. Postal junction is clearly what it sounds like - a shop to meet your mail needs, purchase supplies and shop for obvious items like stamps, cards, mailing boxes etc. I came in around lunch time and I was the only customer. A total breeze. I'm always waiting in long lines at the post office to get my refill of stamps or usually forgetting to ask for them when I'm at the few big grocery retailers who will sell you stamps. I can't tell you how much nicer it is now that I realize they are here just to stop in my for my regular stamp sleeve purchase. Being the only customer the cashier rang me up right away, was nice and I was on my way. Can't tell you how much nicer and easier this experience was now that I know I can come here to mail off some goods and buy my stamps. I'm sure all of the locals and neighbors know of this spot but if you are like me and had overlooked them, look no further because this is such a great local postal store. Postal Junction - Notaries Near Me - Newbury Park, California

I've used this location for years. They've always been nice to work with. I used their PO box for about two years for some things, but let it lapse a couple of years ago. The owner has always been pleasant to work with.....until the last time that I was there. I assume that he was having a bad day, however, he made it clear that I was not welcome to come back without stating this directly. I sometimes I ship out things to businesses that will be returned to me. Because of past problems with this location I am extremely careful to ask them to put my name AND address as the shipper, so that it is clear that I do not want the shipment going back to their location by accident. This time the person that I did this through forgot and put MY name on the shipping address but Postal Junction's address. I contacted the company that i had shipped the item to and got the tracking number for the return to me and discovered that it was being shipped back to Postal Annex. Okay mistakes happen. I tend to not get too excited, no one's perfect. The UPS tracking number said the return package would arrive at PJ between 1:15 and 3:15, I showed up at 3:10. Alex wanted to charge me $5 for storage. WHAT? I told him that i had been very clear when sending the package out that I DID NOT their return address as the shipping address so as to avoid problems. He did not care, and was loudly arguing with me while his customers just looked on. I understand that people need to make a profit. But I also understand good customer service. Finally in a fit of irritation, he loudly proclaimed, "Okay take it" (without paying him his extra profit of storage $5 charge). If he were desperate and had kindly said "I need $5 it's a very bad time for me right now," then I would have given it to him, no questions asked. He does make money from UPS also and I always wanted to support him based on past business with him. Because of that past I give him two stars instead of one star But as I said, I know that I am not welcome back there. read more

I have been doing printing there for some time. I have never checked my bill before. I just pay and leave. This time I checked the numbers when I got home as the amount seemed very high only to find that it didn't make sense. I returned the next day with all paperwork. The three workers couldn't help me and said they'd email the worker who did it. He returned to work yesterday. I have sent a couple more messages and still have heard nothing. I have no recourse but to call my CC co And report an overcharge. I'm most distressed with this poor customer service. Caveat emptor. read more

Great service, very friendly and always there to help me out ... And let's not forget; a lot cheaper, faster and better than the normal Post Office in Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park. I go way out of my way to go back to this Postal Junction each and every single time because whenever I have to send something to the Netherlands with track-and-trace I only have to pay $ 1.71 for a small letter and this would be close to 20 Dollars at the normal Post Office (!!) and I would have to fill in all these custom clearance papers to do so and wait a lot longer on average in a queue. read more

Since I wrote my original review, I have had the opportunity to use Postal Junction as a PO Box, and notary. Not sure if it was an off day when I was in there originally, but since I have gotten to know the people who work here, I have changed my mind. Today after being rudely treated at the UPS store, I came in with the original form, botched by the other notary, and asked if I could get this form (another original filled out and brought back) notarized. Apparently this location has stopped accepting United States Postal Service dropoffs of prepaid packaged mail. This is new to me at 4:30pm tonight. The previous 1-1/2 years, they have accepted packages. Tonight, I managed to get a FedEx shipment directly on the truck at this location. However, the store would not accept two prepaid USPS packages. So sad. I had to go up Reino to the UPS Store who did accept the USPS packages! read more

Everyone was really friendly and felt like a mom and pops local business. Quite an eclectic mix of services from shipping, keys made to notary to a few religious gifts.
