For years, I've depended on this location to help me get through my packages and protect my mail and the front workers have been nothing but exceptional in my personal experience. I have sensitive materials that must be protected and guarded and it's just so much better than leaving it in my front house With all the stealing going on and all the high risk this has been an incredible solution to protect my shipments and I'm grateful for that So without a doubt, I think this place is outstanding and sometimes every now and then maybe twice a year I get an emergency situation where I ask them to stay for an extra 10 minutes and they've always done it read more

I have had a mailbox at Postal Magic for the past 3 years. When I first signed up, it was with the previous owner. At that time, I only chose Postal Magic because of its location. We live in Mission Oaks and Postal Magic is right around the corner from our home. I wasn't thrilled with the way the previous owner interacted with me, but I really wanted a convenient place to send and receive mail for my business. To my pleasant surprise, just a few months later, a new owner took over at Postal Magic! The first time I walked in after the ownership change, I still remember Norma greeting me with a great big smile and a warm, positive attitude. From that point on, I've sincerely enjoyed every visit to the shop, even though I'm just going in to do the mundane task of picking up and sending out mail. At this point, even my youngest son looks forward to Postal Magic visits. Norma is always ready with a free sticker or cute little toy that she generously offers to him. It's just one example of the kind, honest, and good-natured values with which Norma runs the shop. I think my little one might even have a crush on Norma because she is so nice to him! I wouldn't consider using another malbox center in town even if I lived across town. I can always depend on Norma and her mailbox prices are extremely reasonable compared to others. If you are shopping around for the right place to setup a mailbox in Camarillo, THIS is the place to do it. We love Postal Magic and we appreciate you Norma! my mail I handed to clerk/owner after purchasing 100 stamps and a few other store items was never received by any of the camarillo addresses the mail was directed to all including checks for bills (one a very large rent check) one greeting card total 4 items Seems very suspicious to me as when I was alerted today that none of the bills received and I called the store clerk she replied with, "oh no that happened again"!! to possible stolen mail? what??? She said The mail goes out twice a day here...well it's exactly a week later and camarillo to Camarillo mail doesn't take this long!! Told me to call USPS and washed her hands of it... No long lines as this Gem is tucked away at The Mission Oaks Plaza. Being my first time shipping holiday packages I was relieved the associate was so patient and helpful will all of my questions. I have been a customer of Postal Magic for 29 years. I have interacted with the owner, Norma on several occasions. Norma is overwhelmingly professional and courteous. What customers have to consider is Postal Magic is a third party entity when it comes to mailing or shipping your items. Once your item leaves Postal Magic, the efficiency of your package arriving at the destination is on the company transporting your items. Why do you think you get a tracking number from the transporting company? Dont blame Postal Magic when the USPS or UPS screws up. Norma is the best and she tries to do the right thing. I have had a postal box at Postal Magic for two years. I was pleasantly surprised when I met the owner, Norma. I expected the business to be very stark, with little customer service. Boy was I surprised! Norma is helpful and cheerful. Whenever I want to purchase an item from her fun collection, if she doesn't have enough of what I need, she reorders immediately. One time, the front door was broken and we couldn't get in after hours. Norma had it fixed right away so the inconvenience was stopped pronto! Postal Magic is a reliable, trusted business. I've used their services for a very long time. I'm aware that I pay a little extra for stamps etc, but the convenience of not going across town to the Camarillo Post Office, or FedEx is worth it to me, plus supporting small businesses like this helps keep them in business. Without Postal Magic this side of Camarillo would not have a mailing center that takes all shipping companies. Norma works hard and is always pleasant. I have had a mailbox address with Postal Magic for my business since 2009. Since that time, there have been 3 or 4 different owners. The current owner, Norma, has been the friendliest and most helpful of them all. I ship and receive UPS and Fedex packages at Postal Magic almost every day of the week. I've never had a package mishandled or lost and it's nice to be able to check my mailbox after hours when I need to. Norma calls me if a big shipment comes in and has had the fedex driver wait for me when I called to say I was right around the corner. Having a reliable and honest person to ship and receive my packages is crucial to my business, and to have a friendly, smiling face to greet me is an added bonus! read more

Scamming and skimming . This business charged me five dollars to send a package to my son in college . I should've questioned when the package was exactly 5 dollars. They put $2.59 worth of postage on my package and sent it. It did not make it to my son because he owed $3.71 more in order to receive the package so it stayed at the post office. And then it was returned to me and I had to pay it to the mail carrier . So my son NEVER got his package and I paid a total of $8.71. I took it back to Postal Magic and they gave me five dollars back and she ARGUED with me that the $3.71 was my responsibility with the post office. Are you freaking kidding me? Be aware of this business they are CHEATING you . I'm also reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. read more

The ownership turned over about a year ago, and it shows. First time I used them, to ship a small package to a friend, and the woman could t find the address "in the system." I double-checked the address. Then Goggled it. Yup, it was right. She still couldn't "find it" and I finally gave up and went to another UPS store. Today, I brought a large package to return via UPS. She wouldn't take it. We showed her the Amazon return authorization to scan. Nope. No reason given. Use a the UPS Store on Carmen. read more

We have used this Postal Magic as our mailing address for twenty years and have weathered some good and bad owners. Norma is by far the most customer service oriented one we've ever had! She always asks if something needs to be tracked, how fast it needs to get to the destination, etc. so that I get the least expensive option and can decide how much risk to take based on value and importance/urgency of what I am sending. She even once told me in one particular instance that it would be cheaper if I went directly to the Post Office! I called her on my way over from FedEx recently for help. I was angry because the guy for Next Day delivery at FedEx took off 20 minutes before the cutoff so I missed him! The UPS guy was also running 15 minutes early at Postal Magic. Norma heard my frustration and sense of urgency...calculated cost of all my options over the phone, and HELD THE UPS guy for me until I arrived! She truly went above and beyond. She has been the most patient, kindest, thoughtful person on numerous occasions and this was just one example of how truly lucky we are to have her in our community! She literally saved the day! Hours are limited from 10 AM to 5 PM during the week. The posted sign said the business was closed on New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, so I went there Monday the day after New Year's Day, at 10:00 AM, and it was not open. I returned Tuesday morning at 10 AM and it was locked up. I tried to call the phone number, but no one answered. I waited about five minutes and saw the owner coming in through the back door. Then I had to wait until they turn the equipment on and put all their display shelves out. The owner said she comes from Chatsworth and has to drop her granddaughter off, and there was traffic due to the rain, and that's why she is late, all good excuses. It would be good business to either change the hours posted, leave for work earlier, or find a way to get there on time as people are trying to do business and arrange their schedules accordingly. I wouldn't go there until 10:15 or 10:30 AM. read more

I came to this business before and the previous owners weren't the best at customer service but I decided to give it a another try and let me tell you how impressed I am with this new management and the way this business has made a complete 360!
