Not the sharpest tools in the shed: My wife and I went on vacation and went on USPS' website to have them hold our mail until we got back. There's also an option (we selected) stating we would also pick up our mail on the date that we selected. So, we drove to pick up our mail today as soon as we made it back from vacation and guess what, our mail was delivered to our house... We wouldn't worry so much about it, but Tucson's Finest (definitely sarcasm) likes to steal mail which is why we elected to have USPS hold our mail and for us to pick it up. The clerk at the post office didn't seem to care that directions hadn't been followed or if our mail had been stolen or not. Awesome, right? I've enclosed a picture for your viewing pleasure that shows our request to pick up our mail. Good job to the USPS mail carrier. Great to know that you can read/follow direction... FAIL... read more

I have not been able to contact this facility directly and had to report my mail lost, unfortunately. I needed to pick up a package I was unable to have fit in the gang box at my apartment. The staff is always so friendly. Every visit, there is a person just to move things along, if you are only picking up a package, or something like picking up vacation mail. They have a wide variety of postage. For summer last year I saw the dragon stamps and picked up a sheet for my parents and one for my sister. My sister was unable to get those at any of her locations as they had sold out. It has been my experience in the past, stamps on the wall are nearly always sold out, so why bother looking at the display. They always have what I need and the line moves along smoothly. I usually just pick up things and on occasion have shipped packages. So far I have nothing but good feelings. read more

Hard for me to knock a post office, because I love our postal system, but unfortunately I have to do so, since as of this writing, I have mostly had bad experiences here. First, let me say that the customer service is excellent. Everybody here is as friendly and accommodating as possible. Props to Annie, who is really easy to work with and has a lot of great suggestions. The line at this office also moves quickly, thanks to the fact that the people who work here are bona fide pros. Unfortunately, this office is very difficult to follow, and the way the parking lot is structured is unintuitive. I am also an expert at evaluating the accessibility of buildings and parking lots, and I found that there were several ADA accessibility violations in the building and parking lot, which is terrible considering that it is a federal building. I would avoid going here if you have a physical disability and need to go to the post office. In addition to that, they do not do a good job keeping a diverse number of mailing envelopes here. The first time I came here 3 weeks ago, they were out of most of the mailers. On my most recent visit, there were none whatsoever to be had, and I ended up having to go down the street to FedEx to obtain what I needed. I also mailed the item from FedEx as well. That said, I would avoid going to this place, unless I needed to go, and it was my only option. read more

Twice in the past month, I have ordered packages and have not received them. The first time, my package was put in a parcel locker, but the key was put in the wrong mailbox. Then, when I talked to the mail carrier they said they didn't have an extra key to open said parcel lockers, and would have to search every mailbox to find it. they said they would do that the following day (they did not.) The second time, my package was smaller and could fit in my mailbox, however they somehow managed to put my package in the wrong mailbox again. read more

Over the years of living in the neighborhood, I've noticed that the letter carriers are very careless with peoples mail. Earlier this year I was expecting a parcel from eBay and I tracked it carefully and found that it was at my local post office. I went to pick it up and the attendant said that it was not there. I went back home and checked again, and sure enough it was delivered to the Rosemont USPS office, after three weeks, they finally found it. It had been lost somewhere in the back to somebody put it in a wrong bin. No apology no explanation no accountability now I missing my new license plates from ADOT. Again I tracked the envelope and it says that it is at the Rosemont office again. I went there and spoke with the supervisor and she went in the back and supposedly called the letter carrier again it is missing with no explanation. She asked me for my phone number, just in case it shows up, no apology, no explanation, no accountability. How is it that these people can handle your personal and private information without accountability and with such carelessness. I have found my mail in the street. Also, my neighbors have brought me mail that was delivered wrongly to their address for me, I realize you don't have to have a college degree to be a letter carrier but, there should be some care used when handling peoples private correspondence no accountability at all ever. And much to my dismay there is nothing that can be done with these people. Amazing that they have employees that do not care at all what happens to your mail parcels and personal information. And this time of mail, theft and identity theft I find that frightening. No accountability no apology again no explanation ridiculous to say the least. read more

THE GOOD: - Close to my home - The clerk from Colorado is really friendly and helpful. Go to him! THE Bad: - Parking is a huge hassle. Small spots, dangerous entrance, and patrons seem to be in a hurry all the time so proceed with caution. THE UGLY: - We recently moved. We had a package get sent to our old address and was told by the post office on base that THIS post office will receive a notification and forward the package to our new address. Forwarding Addresses are GOOD FOR 1 YEAR. I tracked that package like a hawk. They didn't even attempt to delivery it to us and sent it right back to the sender. WTF?! - One of the clerk's has a poor attitude and offers horrible customer service. Send the poor man in a different department. He obviously hates customer interaction. read more

Hands down the absolute WORST post office ever. Not only did I have the worst and longest time for them to fix the papers I brought in to activate my PO Box and additional services (street style address and signature on file) but they consistently fail to provide proof that I have a package available for pick up--I have a tracking number that says "delivered" or "ready for pick up" I go to my box--no notice, I go to the counter-ERIC (who is the absolute worse excuse for a human) says that basically I'm a liar because "they always leave notices" and then he "can't find the package". This is the 5th time this has happened--but when I go in few days later they can find the package. Absolute BS--the package is there, I have proof, but you are too lazy to go find it. Ask for a supervisor they say!! For what--still nothing but bs excuses IF u can even talk to one. no, I've gone as far as filing a complaint on the personnel (Eric) and facility itself. All the while I get a call back from the supervisor saying to call him back--I call back and the line just rings with out anyone picking up. I called him back less than 10 minutes of his voicemail. Super fast to get in and out of...... I missed this place as it is not your typical blue and gray striped post office. It looks a bit more southwesty and might be difficult to find if you are new to the city. Everyone here is super friendly. But then again, I have not met anyone in Arizona who is not friendly. read more

Nice sized post office. I appreciate that they have drive-thru drop boxes and that they have a self service lobby that has extended hours and an automated postage machine to get postage. I also liked that they have a parcel drop box. Last pickup is 5:15 during the week, which isn't bad too. read more

I NEVER leave reviews, but this post office mailman put my package(S) in front of my apartment at 2pm in broad daylight instead of taking it into the leasing office which is way closer and they were open! Got my packages stolen and when I went in asking why I didn't receive my packages, they said they would contact the driver and call me back... They never did! Lost a lot of money due to them not stepping into the office 5 feet away from the mail boxes! read more

However, I wanted to share with the brides out there, that they have special bridal stamps that are not displayed...so when you are mailing your invites, or if you are lucky enough to have a planner mailing them for you...make sure you mention the stamps are for your wedding. Great location! I came here on a Monday around noon and thought it might be busy since it's lunch time, but the line was pretty short and I was in and out in less than 8 minutes! After my mess of an experience at FedEx, I was glad to come to USPS to ship my large envelope. It was less than $6 which was a few bucks cheaper than FedEx --- and I really like their sizing options and flat rates. I have to ship my mom her bday gift and card soon so I'll definitely be back here!! read more

Good, quick service. Although Yelp is showing this location as being CLOSED - I just picked up mail from there, and they are definitely NOT closed. There was a line, but it moved rather quickly. The service was good and the cashier I went to was friendly. No complaints. read more

Huge line. Three clerks helping the same person. Really? Must have been a really complex. Finally, it's my turn. I need to get a key for my mailbox because I recently moved. The clerk tells me I have to pay $40 because my move-in date is outside of thirty days. I explained that my move-in had been delayed by about three weeks but we did not sign a new lease because it's an informal arrangement between family. The clerk won't bend....either pay $40 or bring in a new lease with a different date. I said that makes no sense...you want me to drive back home, have my family member email a new lease, print up another copy, drive back to the post office and wait in line again.....to do exactly the same thing I'm here to do now....so you can see a different date on the lease? What good does that do anyone? All that does is waste time, gas, paper and ink. And frustrate a customer. All the clerk says to me is "that's how it is." Not, I'm sorry.....or anything! For the purpose of arguments sake, what if I did move in over thirty days ago? Who cares????? Is that my punishment for not being in a hurry to sort through a ton of ad's and crap that I don't want sent to me anyway because everything else I do online? Now, I understand that the post office does not want to eat the cost of a new lock if someone lost their key. Don't they have a record of the last time the box was re-keyed and for whom? (When I go back I'm sure they will have me sign something saying they are re-keying the box and if I lose the key I will be charged $40.) Was the clerk just to lazy to check? Even without some kind of record how about just a little common sense....it's not like the date on the lease was six months ago! Maybe some independent problem solving skills? At the very least get a supervisor involved if the post office employees really have so little discretion that they can't make a simple call on something like this? Nope...back home to get a different lease. No wonder the post office is broke and headed for extinction. Worst customer service ever and no common sense!!!!!! read more
