    They don't answer the phone and that is the only way to make an appointment for passports!

This review relates to my most recent issue, but, over the years, there's been many, many more. 9 out of 10 times, when we go on vacation and request a vacation hold, we end up having to go to this desolate outpost of humanity and line up like folks at a soup kitchen to be greeted by a sour face and slow service as they have failed, yet again to deliver the accumulated mail.....This time was no exception... I checked the mailbox on 12/31/25 only to find a "we need a signature" form in there along with my regular mail, we had been out, so not an issue. Came home, fired up the old PC and made my way to the appropriate section of the USPS website to arrange re-delivery....When complete, I received a lovely automated reply with a conformation number and tracking number along with a delivery date of 1/2/26....so we wait..... All day Friday I sat here....waiting patiently...gradually getting more annoyed...still no delivery...I checked our doorbell was working....it was....I even put a note on the door saying, please knock if you don't hear bell (It's loud....and we have dogs too)...Needless to say....6pm came and went....No delivery....and the USPS customer service department is now closed. Saturday 1/2/26 I call the customer service folks, they are VERY pleasant and helpful, I went through the whole story and she assures me someone will call me. So I wait......a couple of hours pass and lo and behold, and actual call from the Annex!! She tells me it's there and they were going to retry the delivery Monday as they hadn't heard anything....I told her I would come get it..... I jump in the car and make my way across town, line up along with the other unfortunate souls and get my mail finally. She tells me...I think we got cut off when i called...I told her.....no, I hung up. Then I left. Zero stars......would not recommend.....

    I had a package pick up scheduled for today 11/13/2025. Package was on the porch. I received a usps…read morepick up confirmation @ 7:11pm. I went to the porch to confirm and my package is still on the porch,,,,why would our usps person say this untruth. Good thing I checked, now to make another pick up appt!

    I've moved to Lathrop 3 years ago in the Stanford Crossing area. I used to get my mail btwn…read more11-11:30am daily. A year later, my mail was coming after 12pm. In 2024, btwn 1:00-2pm. Now, my mail are being delivered after 3pm & sometimes after 5pm. Yes, I agree with most of the reviews here with the actual PO location on 7th Street with rude workers who do not want to be there. It's sad that people are not grateful for having a job to pay their bills.

    I walked up to counter with a prepaid label for a box saying "I just want to make sure the weight…read moreof the box is appropriate for the label." and the lady with the long hair behind the counter goes " there's no way for me to know, but I could tell you how much it weighs." Then I proceed to show her the weight limit is printed on the label (which indicates my pacakge exceeded the weight limit). She goes "we could just charge the extra to your account." Im thinking I dont have an account, so I offered to hide the barcode and just pay for the shipping as if the box is not prepaid. And I was attempting to fix the label at the counter. She looks at me rudely "can you do that at the back? there's other people waiting." i go sure. But lo and behold there's no one waiting at the back. So instead of helping me, she made a fool out of me. Because after assembling the label altogether, the guy working at the counter was able to take my barcode and explained things a bit better to me and made me felt like I was helped. i used to love usps.

    Like coming here to return Amazon packages. The atmosphere is good and parking is easy to find…read more The employees are friendly and helpful. It's great, you just show them your return QR code and they will take your item. Also a box doesn't seem to be needed, but when I brought one it got taped for me (no charge). Great value and service! It is located in a convenient spot just across from the Home Depot in town, in the same shopping area. Pro-tip: Take a screen shot of your QR return code/s while still in the parking lot, because I've had trouble with my phone internet taking forever to pull it up/not pulling up, while in the return line in the store. This way, you will not be panicking to pull it up while others are waiting. Or, stepping out of line to go outside and pull the codes, then having to get back in line (which I've had to do).

    I will not be returning to this store. I spent about 30 minutes shopping and was ready to check out…read morearound 6:30, but the experience was completely ruined by how I was treated. There was no announcement that the store was closing, and instead of being given a chance to finish my purchase, an employee--who I assume was a manager--was very rude and abruptly told us to leave. By 7:00, she was yelling for customers to get out, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand stores have closing times, but customers who are already inside and ready to check out should be treated with basic courtesy, not rushed out the door. In other stores, employees typically allow a few extra minutes to complete purchases without making customers feel unwelcome. Because of how poorly this was handled, I chose not to buy anything. It was a frustrating experience and a waste of my time. I would recommend going elsewhere if you expect respectful customer service.
