The person I spoke to confirmed the car was on the lot and agreed that I could come by to test drive it. I made it clear that I lived a few towns over and it would take me about 45 minutes to an hour to get there. He acknowledged this and told me to come on by. When I arrived at the dealership, there was no one there. I texted the same person I had spoken with, and he replied saying he was trying to get in touch with the people who were supposed to be working. He eventually told me they had an emergency and wouldn't be back until 5:30 PM -- keep in mind, we spoke around 2:45 PM. No one contacted me to cancel or reschedule. I wasted my time and gas for nothing. This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I will not be waiting around, and I definitely will not be coming back. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can't imagine how they handle sales or service.

NARRATIVE: Arriving, I saw I was the only customer. After speaking with the technician for a few moments and after filling out a few forms, the technician took my car right into their center and began the work. The smog check took less than 15 minutes and the cost was below what I thought it would be. Nice and easy morning. SCENE: Smog Star Express is located at the end of Mars Court in the city of Tracy. They have plenty of signs directing you to their location around the back side of the last building. RECOMMENDATION(S): I'll be returning when my other vehicles are in need of smog checks in the future.
