My tip: leave your house when there are about 5 people ahead of you and give yourself around 15 minutes to get there. From the beginning the logistics coordinator failed to get back to me with confirmation of my request. It took at least ten phone calls and emails until a manager set up the deliver. At the time, I was advised that the driver would require physical assistance with the furniture. The price was in excess of $9000 for this dedicated delivery service. The driver was courteous and did a good job packing the art. I arranged for assistance to load and unload the two pieces of furniture. My support at the start of the move provided a furniture dolly and physical assistance. Upon arrival in California, I had support to unload and move the furniture. However, the driver did not have a furniture dolly to facilitate transfer and movement into the second floor of the house. The driver clearly did not have the physical strength to move the furniture and it was obvious he was struggling even though the pieces were small and two individuals should have been able to easily handle this transfer. I personally moved all of the drawers as part of the unloading process. My complaint is that if the company is not able to provide a driver and the ability to safely provide the requested services for furniture decline the contract. That was not clearly communicated. I indicated I was unhappy with the services and assistance provided. I would not recommend this company based on the level of service and customer support from beginning to end.
