They are supposed to be a first rate service and they charge accordingly. Last year we paid them over $50,000 -- so we're not an incidental customer. This kind of service is invaluable to our business in that they receive the merchandise, open or uncrate each piece, inspect it for damage then photograph it. Such was the case with a 3-part cocktail table for one of our major clients. It was delicate and expensive (to put it mildly). It was then stored in their warehouse until the project was complete. It had been covered with one of their moving blankets for protection. When they removed the moving blanket, the goatskin top of one of the tables had blue chevron stains. The table had to be shipped back to the studio in LA for repair at a cost of $4,000. Yes. four grand to repair the damage they caused. The photos of the piece when it arrived and when it was pulled out for delivery are attached below. Incredulously, the owner told me they were not responsible. If a company can not take responsibility for damage that occurred while in their possession, they shouldn't be in business. I hope anyone who reads this will think twice before hiring them.
