The people that "helped" me was an older white man and an older white woman. They were rude, unwelcoming, and quite frankly racist didn't seem to wanna help me at all I walked in there to turn in my iPhone as Apple had instructed me to do so. They looked at me like they had no idea what I was talking about. Completely clueless both of them. Update a couple weeks later they ended up sending the phone to the wrong address. So they couldn't even do their jobs properly zero out of zero service I will never come back here nor will I recommend this place to anyone you're better off going to McDowell. read more

My favorite painting was on the wall at my ex's house in Petaluma, and I needed to get it to my home in Europe. I found Greg, who manages a few UPS stores, and he agreed to help, even volunteering to coordinate with the ex to pick the large painting up. Greg and his team removed the painting from its frame and, with great care, packed it into a special tube for shipping. It was in great shape when I received it. For the third time I have experienced a delay in receiving a package and having to go through the valley of the shadow of death to get a live person on the phone and get the delivery handled. I keep being told the driver is unable to find the address! The last time this happened the customer service person actually took a photo of the property to give to the driver as the location is not rocket science and does indeed exist. I have never had this problem with USPS or FedEx, just UPS!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We've dropped many packages off at this location for our e-commerce site. On multiple occasions, our customers received their packages open, re-taped, and with items missing. After seeing the trend in potential theft, we stopped using them. It went under new management and we decided to try again since the next location is much further. This time, they never passed off our package to UPS. When inquiring, one of the men working there was condescending, rude, and kept mansplaining unhelpful 'facts' to me. He then thought he put me on mute to complain about me to his manager but instead complained directly into the phone. I filed claims and talked to UPS directly but the package is still "missing". Once again, I suspect theft. This location will open your packages and steal from you before shipping. Do not use them. read more

It was an Amazon return where they have an arrangement to just drop off the open package and you're done - they re-pack, label, & ship! Pretty cool. You need your Hot Topic gothic wearing clerk to button up her top and have a better attitude. Your other employee had her uniform on and looked proper if your rude clerk is the face for your store that's sad. She needs to learn customer service skills. I came in after 7 days from a notice to pick up an item and she stated "you're late it's not here" I asked what do I do next? She was like go to the main office. I asked where that was at and with attitude she wrote it down and gave me the address. I understand NOW that after 7 days the item is returned however she could've been a little bit more understanding and sympathetic. read more

I recently started an Etsy shop and had no knowledge regarding shipping. I went to the post office to be talked down to and had my questions rudely answered. So I went to ups instead with my questions and they helped me with the upmost respect. So kind and really thinking outside the box on how to help with my shipping dilemma. I have been coming here since 2014 and have always received great customer service. I have a mail box here as well and I love that they send me text alerts when I receive packages. When I have my little ones with me, they even help me carry and load packages into the car. read more

Tried to drop off Amazon returns here and the man behind the counter was super nice to the dude in front of me, but when I had a simple transaction to return 3 different orders, he acted like I've never done such a transaction in my life. He argued with me about the process and when he messed up, he blamed me. He didn't listen. He was outrageously condescending. Then he tried to charge me $3 for an "envelope" for one of the returns. I've never had to pay anything to return something to Amazon. When I asked for proof of the transaction, he pointed to a "label" he had already given me, but it didn't have tracking info or anything, which was sketchy AF as I needed proof I returned these items, so I wasn't charged. All I can think is that he either patronizes women as a practice and talks down to them, and/or is hatefully homophobic. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I'm typically a joyful and friendly person and his treatment of me was enraging. Never going back. read more

I had a package delivered there rather than my house because I wasn't going to be home. I received the delivery notice so I went in to pick it up. They looked up the number and said it wasn't there and that was that. The manager seemed annoyed that I asked that she call UPS and on 3 separate occasions told me this is "not a UPS store" to try and divert blame. The store literally says UPS store. Never go here if you either expect to be able to pick up your stuff, because if they don't know where it is you're out of luck. Have fun finding it yourself. read more

We have been getting our mail and packages delivered at this store for the past year. The staff is friendly and courteous and since we are there frequently they know our box number and we are usually in and out of the store quite quickly. They even know our dog and are always happy to see him. read more

Not sure about this location, maybe they have high markups? They quoted me $40 to ship something that weighed 10 lbs. When I took the same item to the UPS store across town they quoted me $17 AND it only truly weighed 5 lbs! That doesn't seem right to me so be careful! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this store! My husband and I have been using this location for the last year and a half. The staff is friendly and inviting and always try to get us in and out as quickly as possible. We have packages delivered daily for our personal and business use. This is by far the friendliest UPS store around! They always greet you when you walk in- and not in a phony way! If you have to wait they make sure you know that they realize you are waiting. They have shipped small envelopes to large chairs for me and always well packed. I even ask for "no peanuts" because my grandson puts them in his nose and they use other packing materials! They keep my address and my regularly used ship to addresses on file so it saves me lots of paperwork too. The owners are amazing and I drive 30 miles to use them! read more

Wow, what a horrible experience at this UPS location. I had sent an expensive piece of camera equipment to this location in order for me to pick it up when I arrived in California. The morning I was supposed to pick it up I received a call letting me know it was ready. A couple hours later while on the road I received a random phone call from someone who had apparently picked up my package by accident. Apparently the person on the phone had his wife pick up his package and somehow she ended up with his package and ours. They searched mine and my partner's name online and found our photography page with our phone number. Luckily this person was very honest and was able to see the mix up right away so he could bring back our package to the UPS store. This whole situation could have been so much worse if the package had gone to someone dishonest or looking to score some free equipment. When I called UPS to ask why my package had been given to someone else the employee on the phone immediately pointed the blame at me. She said, "You must have the wrong location, I have only given out two packages today." I told her yes, one of them was mine. She also said, "We don't call to let people know their packages are here so that's weird." I said well, I received a call this morning! Then she put me on hold only to come back and say, "Oh, it looks like I gave her both boxes because they were stacked on top of each other." Um.... hold on. So this location/employee doesn't check the name on the box to make sure each box goes to the person they are giving it to? A state ID is required for pick up but apparently this woman checked the customer's ID and then only checked the name on ONE of the packages and gave her both. This to me is completely absurd. I am so thankful the customer brought back the package in time for me to use it at my job the next day but I was very annoyed and unhappy with the customer service and lack of execution when it came to store protocol. I know mistakes are made sometimes but this was just ridiculous. When we picked up the package a couple hours later we tried to mention how this wasn't ok but the person behind the counter just said, "Oh that wasn't me who did that." Had a package miss delivered to my house today (Saturday) by UPS. Belonged to a person in another city. Tried to do the right thing and drop it off at this UPS store. Was told that they couldn't accept a return there. I explained it was delivered incorrectly and still would not take. Said I had to take it to ups (which of course isn't open today and I really don't have that type of availability). Asked if I could call ups and have them pick it up and was informed that I would have to pay for that!!!!!! Seriously???? I'm trying to right their wrong! I moved to Petaluma 6 months ago from San Francisco. Most business in the area I worked with are very helpful, honest and love the community. Not this UPS store. My employee sent an order ground but their manager sent it AIR by mistake. I contacted the owner John about it and he offered a discount on future shipments instead on finding a resolution for this shipment. I tried to contact him again but he avoided any further communication. Do not do business with this store. It is not transparent. Their manager is very unfriendly. Plenty of other UPS stores in the area. Avoid this location. read more

This UPS store made a mistake with a package with my PO BOX, and were not honest about it. They made me search around for a box that they knew they had mistakenly assigned to my PO BOX, and then when I was in the store asking about it, sent me away to call other people and continue searching. Turns out, they knew that it was a mistake, and were just pushing me onto other people, not taking responsibility. I called, and was told to get over it or move on and that it didn't matter any more since he was leaving the company. I'm stuck with the box for a few more months, but if you value your mail, don't send it here. read more

If I could give this store no stars, that's what I would do. I called to ask if I could have a pkg. delivered to their location. Nice conversation and the girl said, "Yes. There would be a charge of $5.." I gave her my phone number and had the pkg. sent. When it arrived, employees refused it, because they can't accept pkg. from U.S.Postal Service. No phone call to tell me! I tried calling the Post Office, but it had gone back to sender. Now, my business will suffer for not having the products AND I have to pay additional shipping. A simple phone call would have been prudent customer service. I can't believe anyone would give this store any stars. read more
