I should have got the gentleman's name, but very very nice and helpful. Even when explaining bad news about the ins and outs of a process to a customer in front of me, as the customer grew annoyed the man stayed respectful and empathetic towards his situation. I applied for a passport and accidently filled the form out in blue ink. Instead of being told "its your responsibility to ensure you filled the form out correctly" like the PO off of Boulder Ave would have told me, the man said "No worries! go ahead over to the back counter and fill out this new form with that black inked pen and we'll get ya all settled!" While this may sound insignificant to some, there was a customer that also had an appointment for her passport right after me. And to compensate he pulled someone away from the back to help finish the last 2-3 minutes of my passport and start the first 2-3 minutes of hers at the same time. I left my pictures for my passport at home due to being in a rush, and even though I only selected a "non photo passport" appointment, he still quickly took my picture and adjusted the price. Even the other employees had a smile and shared some laughs with me. 10/10 night and day difference between the PO by my house and this one. US Post Office - The best Post Office in the area! Tis the season - Post Offices Near Me - Patton, California

Needed a passport and this Highland Post Office is a full service passport location meaning they also take your passport photos too. I made an appointment through the postal website just Google passports. Then I went to www.travel.state.gov to print out a blank DS11 form which is required for first time passport applicants/holders. I printed out the blank form, but you also have an option of filling out the DS11 form online. It goes through the motions of buying it online, but when you get to the end just hit the print button and you don't actually pay. It doesn't make sense, but my DS11 form came out nicely typed out. I made my appointment and the nice postal employee, Meeling, did the rest. Remember to bring the DS11 form, your drivers license or ID card, birth certificate, and one check (or cash, debit, credit) for each person. Remember don't wear a white shirt for your photos. The fees are explained on the website, but the processing time to get your passport is approximately 10-18 weeks and for expedited service it is 7 - 9 weeks ($120 more for each passport). It's a busy little post office, but because you have an appointment it goes quickly. The average wait time for one passport applicant is 15 minutes. read more

I sent my 18yo daughter here today for a passport and photos. I sent her with her filled out application, birth certificate, and two money orders filled out correctly for the fees so she wouldn't have any issues. She said the Asian woman and other man working there named Mauricio gave her a hard time for being 5 mins late and then refused her money orders as payment. Mauricio stated they were "no good". So they charged her to buy a money order from them and used her debit card as payment. When she returned home with the money orders, I was upset as I could not return them as they were filled out to Post Master and the US Treasury. I called the post office and spoke to the Asian lady who kept repeating that my daughter did not hand her the money orders to pay and I explained that's because Mauricio told her they were no good. She said he would call me back, which he did. Mauricio apologized stating that it was his fault and that most people have the fees wrong on money orders. I explained they were filled out correctly and there was no reason to deny them, he stated my daughter didn't explain that. I asked what she needed to explain? He said he wasn't going to argue with me but she could come back before they closed in ten mins and they would reverse the charges and accept the payment. I sent my daughter back and they refunded her in cash. Accepted the payment and still told my daughter it was her fault. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional. Reading other reviews, I'm wondering how these people are still employed. read more

I've came here several times for my mother and the Asian lady at the front is always rude and has the nastiest attitude EVERYTIME I've visited. She's clearly unhappy in her job/position there at the post office. I know plenty of ppl that would love her job and do better at it. It's not just about customer coming to get their mail it's also about her kindness and customer service. She has NONE!!!!! The clerk lady provided me a worst customer service ever. i am asian , she is asian too . dont know why she gave me that attitude. she doesn't wear mask , while they require customers wear mask ??? my job is customer service too, and i don't how she got hired at that position. I paid for my service, usps dont give it for free . so , dont do like you grant it for me. If you dont love your job , cant do it appropriately , just quit or retired , give your job for somebody who really needs it , deserves it. This USPS location has employees who do not wear masks. I was in today 2/8/21 and 1 out of the 3 visible employees was wearing a mask. This is despicable as Covid contraction and death rates are still overwhelmingly high in San Bernardino County and the state of California. There is NO reason that they should not be wearing a mask while working and serving the public. This employee has been rude on several occasions, so seeing that she doesn't wear a mask does not surprise me. Maybe she is unaware or simply does not care that it is now required by federal law in all federal offices to wear a face covering. read more

This little PO is located behind Two Guys Pizza. They are never busy and they have a bigger parking lot than most POs in the area. The best part is not having to deal with rude reps... the ladies here are very nice and usually recommend services that you need at less expensive prices (i.e. I didn't know what media mail was until the rep told me about it! So much cheaper to send books than regular 1st class). read more

This is hands down the friendliest large city post office that I have ever done business with. Even though it's usually very busy at this location, the employees that work here are extremely fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and customer service oriented. The post office would do well to learn the work habits of these ladies and train the employees of other local post offices, in particular the Del Rosa and the Highland post offices. Those two post offices employ the most rude, obnoxious and arrogant government employees I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with over the last 27 years that we've lived here in the Belvedere neighborhood. read more

Stars are for the staff who are great and always helpful. Its a terrible location though as there have been over at least 6 breakins into the PO BOXES, which led to lobby hours being cut. Now it is even closed Sat and Sun. read more
