Needed a passport and this Highland Post Office is a full service passport location meaning they also take your passport photos too. I made an appointment through the postal website just Google passports. Then I went to www.travel.state.gov to print out a blank DS11 form which is required for first time passport applicants/holders. I printed out the blank form, but you also have an option of filling out the DS11 form online. It goes through the motions of buying it online, but when you get to the end just hit the print button and you don't actually pay. It doesn't make sense, but my DS11 form came out nicely typed out. I made my appointment and the nice postal employee, Meeling, did the rest. Remember to bring the DS11 form, your drivers license or ID card, birth certificate, and one check (or cash, debit, credit) for each person. Remember don't wear a white shirt for your photos. The fees are explained on the website, but the processing time to get your passport is approximately 10-18 weeks and for expedited service it is 7 - 9 weeks ($120 more for each passport). It's a busy little post office, but because you have an appointment it goes quickly. The average wait time for one passport applicant is 15 minutes.

This USPS location has employees who do not wear masks. I was in today 2/8/21 and 1 out of the 3 visible employees was wearing a mask. This is despicable as Covid contraction and death rates are still overwhelmingly high in San Bernardino County and the state of California. There is NO reason that they should not be wearing a mask while working and serving the public. This employee has been rude on several occasions, so seeing that she doesn't wear a mask does not surprise me. Maybe she is unaware or simply does not care that it is now required by federal law in all federal offices to wear a face covering.

They are never nice or helpful. The ladies at the desk should find something else to do in live besides ruin other people's days.

Soo, which time do they close? Yelp says 4 and on google map 5? I know USPS on boulder closes at 5. I went in to this location at 4:20 pm thinking they close at 5 and they were also closed. Pretty bum but made it to boulder.

We went on Friday and they close at 3 pm.

Getting there: If you follow the GPS directions you'll be ok…read morebut make sure it doesn't take you to the back of the building like mine did. Experience: I've been here a couple of times just to drop things off. It's a small post office so it doesn't get too crowded, at least from what I've seen and heard. The staff are very friendly and helpful although I don't think there is many at this location. I am almost always in and out, but I do wish they had the self serve machines so I could avoid standing in any lines.

I went to the post office today when it opened at 9:30 a.m. Even though I arrived at opening time,…read morethere were already at least five people waiting in line, and only one clerk was working. It seems that the post office would know Fridays are busy, especially right when they open, and would schedule more than one employee to help customers. Unfortunately, the clerk was very slow and spent a great deal of time chatting with customers instead of helping move the line along. At one point, someone was mailing an air conditioner, and the clerk started talking with the customer about buying it and negotiating the price while the rest of us stood there waiting. That was frustrating and unprofessional. The reason I was there was because, after nearly 20 years, the key to my neighborhood community mailbox no longer works. I was told I would have to pay $50 for a locksmith to come out, replace the lock, and provide a new key--even though the mailbox is part of a community mailbox system and doesn't belong to me personally. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was not helpful, and it felt like the only solution offered was for me to pay more money. Experiences like this make it easy to understand why many people are becoming frustrated with the postal service.

Instead of using an online vendor to buy a calendar book, I decided to visit the local Office Depot…read moreon Orange Street in Redlands, CA. What a mistake. I bought a calendar book, took a few hours, and entered data of yearly events (e.g., birthdays, MD appointments, and the like). After I finished entering the information, I realized the book cover was upside down (literally) from the pages inside the book. It was a total production error of a product sold by Redlands Office Depot. Like any typical consumer, I returned to the store to fetch a proper book in exchange for this poor production of a book. A male store clerk said I could have another book and rewrite/redo all the information at the store so that he could "keep the book." Privacy notwithstanding, I asked him to keep the book and trash it myself. Privacy matters. After all, what purpose was the book to Office Depot corporate office? Whether they trashed it or I did, the result was the same, but I could control the destruction of the private information. This particular fellow (the clerk) thought I should spend a few hours (seriously) at the store to redo the information so that he could do what with the book? Lucky me to experience a petty, arrogant, and power-controlling clerk, eh? In short, I spent another $24.00 and bought a different book. In the future, I will not support a brick-and-mortar store (Office Depot). Amazon is more convenient and user-friendly. Avoid this store. Make your copies, photos, or purchases elsewhere. You are warned. Avoid this Office Depot in Redlands. Their products are substandard, and they are not user-friendly. Read the reviews and notice the ratings. When the data speaks for itself, I do not have to say anything else.
