I love that there are many convenient locations and no matter how busy they are, they are always polite.

The lead- idk his name, but he is lazy & not helpful at all. He can't even get a box when I asked if they had any small boxes, and he was definitely trying give me a hard time because of a box! which was behind him, and I even said oh what about that box, he was like it's more expensive than the one he was recommending to me, after I specified I was looking for a box. Which they were the same price LOL either way definitely rude and unprofessional. I asked for a box and he couldn't even do his simple little job. read more

Unfortunately I have to write another bad review for this place because we had another issue. This was with the employee lady with shaved head. She told my family member that she needed more codes for the items that DID NOT need to be scanned so I had to call and explain what was going on but apparently she doesn't know how to do her job because I got in contact with a friend of mine who used to work at a ups store and she told me that this should not have happened. So I had to contact Amazon myself and be on the phone on hold but it was well worth it because they were extremely helpful to get me labels instead. I recommend not going to this location anymore. We have come to this store many times over the years for Live Scans for our employees. The last 6 month the price has been different every time for the same type of Live Scan. When asked why they don't have an answer they just tell you to go to another store. They are negligent on turning the fingerprints to the DOJ correctly and now we have to have all employees who received live scan from this location need to be redone. Absolutely unacceptable experience at this UPS Store. I came in to return a sealed Vionic shoebox, and instead of asking me to open it properly, the employee grabbed the box, ripped it open, and tore through the packaging like it was trash. When I politely asked if they had something to open it with, she ignored me and destroyed the box. She then tried to scan the shoebox barcode inside, not the shipping label, completely botching the return process. Now the return is at risk because the original packaging is damaged. Who gave her the right to open a customer's box without permission? This is not how you treat people or their property. Unprofessional and careless. Do better. read more

I cannot say enough terrible things about this store. This lady working at the front desk was a rude young Hispanic lady. She didn't wear a name tag- probably because she does this all the time. We had asked her to find something and said that she would not help us because she "just can't". She pretended to act busy when other customers walked in. The "manager" Hector did not do anything about her or acknowledge her behavior AT ALL! We will take our business to FedEx and will NOT be using this company anymore. Someone better fire her! Located in a plaza on Redlands Blvd. there's plenty of parking available. I had two boxes to return. I had their shipping labels already printed and put on them. Their store is clean and I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. It was an easy process to drop the packages off. Then I asked for a receipt which another employee gave to me. read more

I come here almost every week since 2012. On 11/13/2023, I was rudely told that they don't accept USPS packages anymore - I was told they have issues with USPS and it's been going on for last 12 months. Told them that the week before, I just handed my package over to a lady - it's been like that since 2012. If you don't want to deal with USPS packages, just put a sign - no need to yell and make it sounds like a huge burden. It seems like your process change whenever there's a new set of staffs. On Friday, October 24th, I had two iPhones needing returned to Verizon. Verizon oddly not allowing their phones be returned to a Verizon store, not providing return boxes with new phones, and mailing shipping labels via USPS, requires you take them to UPS. I called a UPS store and they advised they had cell phone boxes in stock so I went to the UPS store on Redlands Blvd in the City of Redlands. A women with short hair explained the cost of the specialized phone boxes pointed out standard boxes, so I grabbed two and began to package the return phones. It should be noted, I am disabled and have extreme difficulty using my hands. I brought someone with me to assist, though she called us up to the counter and offered assistance. My understanding, this is not required by UPS staff. She took the time to find bubble wrap and helped package the phones securely and placed a nice strong label envelope tape for the return shipping labels. I do walk with a cane, though it takes keen observation to notice my hands do not function well. Her assistance was very much appreciated and I believe above the call of duty. I can't be more thankful for service like am that and she should be commended for what she did for me. read more

Usually when I go in they scan the return label and they print it and place it on my package but she told me I have the print them and tape them to my package very rudely and I'm not one to complain ever. Never coming to this store again if she is working at this location. If you don't like your job simply get another one. It's a pretty sad day in corporate America when every child's lemonade stand is managed better than this dump. Today there was a big fat line heading out the door and towards the Naan Cafe. "Well it's after Christmas," you say, " and Amazon returns are hot and heavy." True. But that's not why there was a line. The reason is a complete lack of management. There were two people working. The older blonde lady with big glasses was helping someone get a Passport or something that involved copious paperwork, getting thumbprints, that sort of thing. Although she was friendly enough with the customer she was a little too chatty considering the baker's dozen of people in line. The older male worker then got a person who was just as time consuming -- and I had to wait 20 full minutes to served. And I was next in line. And had already invested 10 minutes to get to that point. There are three basic customers walking into any UPS nationwide -- 1. Amazon drop-offers. These people take under two minutes to be served. Super easy and fast for the most part. 2. UPS Shippers. These people start around 2 minutes and if they came unprepared last under 5 minutes. 3. Special Services. These people apparently need a lot of time, anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes each. EACH. Any IMBECILE of a manager should already know that you can't take two of this last type of customers at the same time. For if you do the store stops DEAD and a line explodes out of the store. So what should have happened is the lady with the glasses takes the Special Services customer. She gives a signal to the older guy, which means FOR THE LOVE OF GOD send any other Special Services people my way until that line is gone. This is not only management 101 but absurdly common sense. I do not blame the workers, I blame management. If one of them was the manager tell me and I'll pay them a visit soon. read more

I drive out of my way to go to the other Redlands UPS store where the staff are friendly and helpful and the store is consistently well staffed. No long lines at the Alabama location! I did not get the name of this employee but she helped me locate my missing package. Previous to her helping me, the male employee shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do. I felt robbed of my package, next day I came in spoke to the female employee and she went above and beyond. she has amazing customer skills. read more

When I receive packages they don't check them in so I don't get the notification to come pick it up, multiple times they put my packages in someone else's box, they are really slow and there's always a wait, one time they lost my package and the manager left me a rude voicemail as if it were my fault! read more

She said it's out for delivery but they already left me a note to pick it up at store. I asked her why does it say that when they already tried to deliver it. She told me to not shout and I wasn't even shouting. She was very stern and hatred in her eyes towards me. I asked her to please look for package. And obviously it was there all that time. Not easy moving large and expensive items, we had a huge oil painting that we just didn't know how to transport. Kimberly/UPS to the rescue. Unbelievable job, she retrieved the painting, stored it safely till a special shipping box could be found, kept in touch with me then made payment easy. All long distance. 1st - driver attempting to deliver my package did not knock or notify me that they were there. Instead left sticker and created 2 day delay for pick up of my package. Using same UPS store, my package that required signature delivered to my neighbor without signature. Needless to say, drivers are not good at their job nor do they follow instructions. 2nd - UPS store could not provide accurate estimation or resolution of my problem. I went in to this UPS store, #0449, on Redlands Blvd by Albertson's, to drop off a prepaid return mailer and when my daughter and I walked in rather than a, "hello" we were met with glaring faces. I told the man by the cash register I needed to drop off my mailer and he took it without a word and dropped it into a white bin. I asked him if he was going to give me a receipt, he retrieved the mailer from the bin, scanned it, handed the receipt to me and dropped the mailer back into the bin, all without ONE word. This is not the first time going into this UPS store location and they are always rude. One star, only because it was close by. My advice, go to a different location!! read more
