Omni Builders - Puppy-approved backyard pickleball court

It is a beautiful court built to and exceeds regulations, and the amenities serve my needs as a certified pickleball instructor. I've had the opportunity to instruct in many courts and Gary's court makes it very easy to teach/train pickleball enthusiast. I recommend Omni Builders as a great and knowledgeable pickleball builder.

After meeting with multiple contractors, we selected Omni for a bathroom remodel. We liked that…read morethey used specialty subs for work versus a crew of "jack-of-all-trades" workers. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience for a variety of reasons. First and most notably, the finishing work was not done well. The subway tile around the bath was especially upsetting as there are many flaws throughout (uneven grout joints, excessive lippage, and poorly aligned tiles. A mortar wall was floated to create a plumb substrate for the tile, though the finished surround turned out not to be plumb and true). After grouting was done, we expressed concerns and pointed out specific defects. A few fixes were made (the pictures show the finished product, so they are with the corrections), but without a total redo, we are left with quite a bit of poor work. There are also issues with the floor tile, especially at the door jamb, where the tile curves upward, and the transition does not cover the connection to the flooring in the adjacent room, leaving the raw tile edge visible. There are also uneven grout lines like those in the niche photo showing the backsplash, which matches the floor tile. The pedestal sink we had installed is mounted to the wall but is not level. There were things we asked to have done that we were told could not be done even though they could, and we were able to provide examples (mitered tile edges, through wall exhaust fan, etc.). -We found the GC quite difficult to work with. When we asked questions or asked for certain things, we were met with lengthy and convoluted lectures that often had little to do with our questions and felt patronizing. The GC showed up regularly for a few minutes at a time but did not seem to actually be monitoring the quality control of the project. When we brought up concerns, he would tell us to talk to the sub. We did not hire the subs - we hired him. We expected that he would manage the project and ensure the quality of the work. We were left to find all the imperfections and problems on our own (we are still finding small issues) and then told "it wasn't fair" that he (the GC) had to take the brunt of our disappointment with the work, or that we should have said something sooner (we expressed concerns throughout). We were very much placed in the middle of the GC and subs, and there were communication breakdowns we could not remediate, nor should we have had to. When we expressed issues with work, the GC would also tell us he would not pay the sub or have stern words with them. We expected the GC to do whatever it took to have the work done right without involving us in the details. Because we liked all the subs, having him threaten them to us felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. He did offer to "take off $100" or whatever "we thought would be fair" and specifically noted he'd withhold it from the pay of the subs. But that was not a reasonable offer. He offered to have the tile redone at the expense of the sub, but putting that on us (withholding money from the sub) did not feel appropriate. And honestly, we did not want the work redone by the same sub anyway, and we just wanted to be finished with Omni. My husband will end up redoing some of the work that he can fix, and we have accepted we will have to have the bathtub enclosure tile redone in the future. Paying so much money (about $18k) and receiving poor workmanship is disheartening. Is it the worst job I have ever seen? No. Is it good quality and properly done? Also no. We will make do for now and have resigned ourselves to paying even more money in the future to have things redone appropriately. This is all to say we do not recommend Omni. We did not feel heard or respected, nor did we feel there was appropriate quality control throughout the project. At the end of the day, we hired Gary and believed he should have been responsible for ensuring the quality of the work performed by his subs. Instead, he deflected when things were not done well and placed us in an awkward position between himself and his subs. He kept telling us he wanted his customers to be happy and that no one had ever complained about their work, but also that he saw the problems we pointed out. Offering us both $100 off and a total redo by the same tile sub he said he would not pay were inappropriate resolutions, and we did not take them seriously. Instead, we opted to pay out the contract to finish with Omni and move on. 9/15/23: Resply to Omni's response posted as images to this review.

AC Volt Electrical - 5 ton ultra quiet 18 seer, high efficiency, slim line dual condensing units

    AC Volt Electrical

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: ACVOLT ELECTRICAL INC - Incompetence, Property Damage, and Customer Neglect…read more I'm compelled to share my disastrous experience with ACVOLT ELECTRICAL INC (License #1016292) to warn potential customers. What began as a simple A/C replacement in November 2023 turned into a year-long ordeal of equipment failures, property damage, and abysmal customer service. 1. Faulty Installation and Persistent Issues: - New Lennox condenser began leaking within two weeks of installation (11/18/23) - Despite photographic evidence, owner "Manny" dismissed it as "just manufacturer oil" - Leak worsened, spreading to concrete (11/29/23) - Multiple service calls resulted in band-aid solutions - A/C unit frequently froze, leaving us without cooling for days in 100+ degree weather - It took nearly a year (until 10/2/24) to finally get the faulty condenser replaced under manufacturer warranty 2. Severe Property Damage: - During a maintenance visit (7/26/23), the technician used a highly corrosive cleaner - This chemical etched off my concrete sealer, leaving a scab-like appearance - Damage extended to my garage door and wrought iron fence when they carelessly rinsed and splashed the chemical - Immediate complaints were met with empty promises and no action 3. Deceptive and Evasive Customer Service: - Owners Manny and Mario repeatedly cited nebulous "corporate" approvals for repairs - Promised fixes were continually delayed or never materialized - After weeks of follow-ups, they provided contact for a supposed "sealer company" - This contact (Jose) was unreliable, missed appointments, and never did the work since ACVOLT did not approve the cost of repair. - ACVOLT claimed to be in communication with Jose but provided no evidence or results 4. Lack of Accountability: - After months and months of run-around, they suggested I file an insurance claim - "Corporate" reception doesn't have license or insurance information to provide when requested. - Continually shifted responsibility, making it impossible to get a straight answer 5. Suspicious Business Practices: - Reception refuses to provide license or insurance information - Owners play "good cop, bad cop," switching primary contacts when complaints escalate - Upsold maintenance plan that did nothing to address core issues 6. Ongoing Damage and Neglect: - As of October 2024, nearly a year after the initial property damage, no repairs have been made - Multiple promises of resolution have been broken - Property damage remains unaddressed, potentially worsening over time In summary, ACVOLT ELECTRICAL INC has demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, technical competence, and basic customer care. They've left me with damaged property, wasted time, and the stress of dealing with their incompetence for an entire year. Their pattern of behavior suggests either gross negligence or intentional deception. If you value your property, time, and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. The headache and potential financial loss are simply not worth the risk.

What an absolutely amazing company to work with!! I would highly recommend Sheldon's Heating & Air…read moreto anyone looking to replace their HVAC system. I replaced my complete HVAC system in October 2023. Our downstairs AC broke down during a heat spell a month or two earlier and I called a number of companies for quotes to repair or replace. From the very first interaction with Zack, who came out to the house to review our needs and work up a cost estimate to the 6-month maintenance check-ups, the installers (Dean and others), technicians (Victor, Joser, Anthony, and Ivan, to name a few), and their office staff (Cheyenne and Regina) have been on-time, professional, friendly, efficient, and very helpful. It was my AC system that failed, but I decided to replace the entire HVAC system due to the age of the system. Also ended up redoing some duct work to the master bedroom to improve air flow. However, I never felt that Zack was trying to upsell me or tell me to replace something that I didn't need or want to. If there was ever an issue, they would make every attempt to fix and make it right. I signed up for their maintenance plan and I would get a call from the office to schedule the next appointment, without me even thinking about it. Price was reasonable, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Their service though, has been exceptional. I replaced my upstairs HVAC system a few years prior using a different company, it's been night and day regarding responsiveness and service. So happy that I chose Sheldon's for the repaclement of my downstairs HVAC system.

Security Eco was quick to respond and had the best prices. The team came out and installed the four wired cameras and NVR. The installers were efficient, wired all the cameras without making large holes in our walls, and made sure we were happy before they left. I'd definitely use them again if we need another install. This was a very difficult and tricky install since there was no direct roof access. Yet, Carlos and his team was able to figure it out and get the job done. They worked quickly and thoroughly and did such a great job hiding the cables that I'm still baffled as to how they did it. Carlos also walked me through how to use the system as well as make adjustments to each camera to my liking. Top notch service. I received other estimates from other companies but Security Eco was by far the quickest to respond with answers to all my questions along with the cost of everything, which was extremely competitive. For the service provided, the value is incredible and I will be using Security Eco for all my security needs. Highly Recommend.
