No complaints, I'm usually in and out fairly quickly. Lots of parking and is not too busy.

Employee at counter was fast handling my transaction. Hate the post office but she helped me get in and out quickly.

Yelp wants to know if I would recommend the social security office... I'm not really sure if anyone…read morewould really RECOMMEND it, but it's kind of a necessary chore sometimes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My visit was a one of those necessary chores. We were having an issue with putting our son on our taxes, and thankfully we finally got it sent in because I made an appointment on February 22nd, but the soonest appointment was APRIL 20TH! Two months later, and 5 days after the tax cutoff day. Even though we got our taxes done, I still needed to fix the problem. I was dreading the appointment because I didn't want to spend half the day waiting to speak to someone... but thankfully my mom is a gem who was willing to babysit so at least I didn't have to bring an unwilling toddler with me. Others weren't so fortunate. There were several children who were not happy to be there, but their mom's were champs and over all, it was pretty tame in there. My appointment was at 10 AM. There weren't very many people in the waiting area when I got there even though the parking lot was mostly full and there were a few people standing outside in a line. It turns out they were just signing in with the posted QR codes. I scanned the QR code, went inside, and checked in on my phone. Then I needed to scan my phone at a kiosk to get a receipt with a code. I sat down and was relieved that there were maybe 15 people total waiting. After 5ish minutes a lady asked if anyone had an appointment. Me and one other man raised our hands. She sent us both to a window and I was extremely happy that I was going to be in and out in a jif... so I thought. I told the lady what was going on with my son's social and what I needed to do and she literally told me that she wasn't good at that so I'd need someone else to help me. Umm... 'scuse me? Well okay then... So she tells me that I need to fill out a form for the next person. I explained that I already filled it out online and she said that they would need it on paper as well, so go ahead and fill it out again. Again... what? Okay, sure. I sat, filled out the form, and waited. And waited. And waited some more. After waiting an hour, nobody was at her window so I asked her if I was sent back to the back of the line. At this point the place was filling up, so waiting was becoming a bit less pleasant. She said that I was sent to the back of the line because I didn't have an appointment. I informed her that I DID have an appointment. At 10... She looked me up and looked my son up, saw that I had an appointment, and said that someone would be with me in a few minutes. I sat back down and was called in less than 5 minutes. The man that helped me was pleasant and kind. I was out of there in less than 10 minutes from the time I sat down with him. This tells me that I could've gotten out of there by 10:30 had there not been confusion with the first lady. Could've been a five star experience. I will forever make an appointment though... unless I can't wait 2 months for assistance.

I walked in with my daughter and although there was a line, the process ran smoothly and quickly…read more Everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I remember reading Edgar V's review and thinking I definitely have to review "The Post Office." I…read morehave used many, but since I had to go to this one today, I decided to grace them with my review. I love their mail forwarding service, and the fact that it is just ONE DOLLAR makes it incredible!! Almost like having ice cream for breakfast. I used them today because I had to return a phone to Sprint (for the third time.. review coming up) and the service rep suggested I get a receipt. The post-lady was very helpful and gave me the paperwork to complete . Six minutes and $1.15 later, I had my receipt and was on my way out of there! I think the post office has a great system in place. Their money orders, stamps and mailing services are super cheap compared to privately owned companies (like FedEx and ups). I use USPS all the time and love how the forever stamps actually make me money when they increase the price of stamps! Not too noticeable but it is still two cents I did not have to spend! It's late and I need to go to bed, so, the bottom line is that I like the post office, will use them forever and I am loyal customer. Yeah, I know what you are thinking UPS and FedEx do not sell money orders nor stamps, but you get the point!!!

The actual office workers are nice, but the mailmen in this neighborhood are extremely lacking. I…read morecannot tell you how many times I have outgoing mail, with a clip to indicate outgoing mail, and the mailbox open and they walk up to the box and don't take the outgoing mail. This will happen for several days. My water bill got a late penalty once because they continually left my outgoing mail.

They are the best people I have met in the post office, I met Mr. Vince over 20 years ago and besides less hair, his spirit is still the same. Lily, Lillian, and Tassia are the best front line workers. Always put a smile on my baby face with suckers.

So today is July 5, 2023 and in all the years I have been an adult.....wow…read more Let me start by saying the only person deserving of any stars in this place was the young lady who helped with our passport. The shocking part of this story may be that this man still has a job, he must have one hell of a union rep. Middle aged black man working the first counter you come to, acted put out out when I asked for a pen for our passport application. Ehhh that's a ton of people these days. Then, a man comes in, can't speak much English but he's trying his best. Post office man, yells at him three times, louder each time to "GO SIT IN THE CHAIRS" maybe he needs a refresher course to teach him that yelling at someone doesn't doesn't make them understand your language any better. But here's the very best story of our 40 mins at this place, we are sitting at the bench waiting our turn for the application process and post office man is taking pics for the people that need them for passports and there was a mom/teenage daughter in front of us. Daughter sits down to take her pic and he hands her a sweater and says to her "put this on, they don't like it when you look like a prostitute" um WHAT?! I don't even have a dog in this fight and I was shocked! First of all she had a sundress on, which I mean of course I looked when he said this to her and she wasn't dressed inappropriate at all. I mean no cleavage, just skin (spaghetti straps) but not one thing was wrong with her outfit. I'm seriously shocked! Then when mom confronted him, he had the nerve to say "I didn't say she looked like a prostitute, I said they don't like it when you look like a prostitute" I'm not even sure why he thought he could defend that but no apology, nothing. Mom asked to speak to a supervisor and his response was "I am the supervisor right now" of course you are buddy, of course you are. Do better.
