I gave an extra star because this other lady at pickup window was very nice and helpful. My package was missing. Someone mislabeled my package and address as "no such number" when I've lived and have been getting mail at my home for well over five years. I call the 1-800 number, I'm told my package is at my local post office and that I can and should pick it up at 7 because their hours are from 7 to 12, as per what their website states, before they attempt to try to deliver it again. When I arrive and some rude lady tells me they don't open their pick up window until 9. How would I know that without coming all the way here? They claim they're not open & don't answer their phones, yet you have it on your site giving the impression that you are? No where on their website or front door states this, you would have to come inside the lobby, come to the pick up window to see this. I feel sorry for the old & people with underlying health problems that depend on this. This place has always been trash. We visit this USPS location multiple times a year during what is probably their rush seasons. Ms. Gill is always patient and helpful. Even though the line gets long quickly she is always smiling. If you live in the area and need to ship out something quickly, definitely stop by. I will definitely be back to this location. The service here is better than at the Windmill location which is larger and always seems to have my registered/signature requiring/undeliverable packages. read more

Trine at the 77275 location was very helpful with assisting me the correct form for my Passport. She was very clear and pleasant even when I became a little flustered with the process. Not all of the mail post men and women who work here are rude and careless, most of them are nice and gives you no attitude. I've visited this location several times and though of the long lines, I either get the black lady or the Mexican lady and they are both very nice. Even when I've waited in line without the proper things to mail off my things, they still allow me to get what I need from the wall and while still saving my spot in line. Now that's good customer service. These postmail workers strive for the best and always assure your package gets to its location on time. I've been visiting this post office for years with my mum as its her favorite and never received an issue from anyone here. On the inside, they used to sell stamps, but since the area has gotten worse over the years and people started to steal, they don't do that anymore. People are somewhat nice but can't ever seem to help me find my package lots of miscommunication between staff, called them looking for my package that was marked as insufficient address which was weird since my whole address was there, they called me back and assured me they found my package and I can pick it up I thought everything was good, I get there they have no idea what I'm talking about or where my package is I asked if they could look it up for me and she said to check my app super annoying had to go and call again. This post office is SHIT. I've never seen such incompetence. They have no idea where they leave mail. Text messages say they have it then they say they don't. Then they say it's out for delivery. Then they tell me it's delivered to an address that doesn't exist. For 3 days I've made numerous trips. Spoke to Nellie, 2 black women 1 black guy and finally the supervisor Ms. Grey and none of them were able to assist me. Each person had a different story and nobody seemed happy to talk to me. I was treated like an inconvenience. This has to be the worst experience. When you call down to the post office it just rings until it hangs up on you. How can nobody be able to find a package? This is your job to handle mail and get stuff where it belongs. So I guess it ok to just leave mail anywhere. Even after the address is corrected. Great thanks for nothing. read more

I can't attest to the quality of receiving or picking up mail and packages from here, but I can say that mailing from here is great. My office actually purposefully chooses this location over others in the area because everyone is so polite and helpful. I came in today to get a letter certified. I've used Windmill Station (post office) before ever since I was younger. I would come in with my mother for routine errands. All that time I spent here as a child. All I can say is that I'm such a rookie when it comes to mail postage (sending), though I'm expert handling packages. Ironic right? I was very pleased with the counter employee. Brenda was so helpful to assist me. She understood that I was clueless and took that into consideration. She treated me so polite and was patient. She went step by step to ensure I filled out the paperwork correctly. She even allowed me, once I was finished to re-enter the line, instead of waiting. She was quick and made sure everyone needs were met. When getting a letter certified, the staff will hand you a green slip. You'll fill out the slip with your address and the person whom your mailing it to address. On a blank envelope you'll fill out your address correctly (top left corner) and instead of putting the sender's address in the middle. You'll put that to the far right side (near the edge & centered). I thought the sender address went in the middle. Though, Brenda quickly told me the correct area before ruining the envelope. I used 4 stamps and that reduced the cost of my item. The freshly new envelope was dazzled up with all kinds of stamps markings, stickers.. that it reminded me of a televised letter. Great post office, it has been here for years. Inside still has that old feel to it as I remember. Though, the smell has changed a bit.. it's a little fresher. read more

Just called now to check if my package is here because my package was never delivered to my home. I CALLED 3 TIMES. During business hours! First time the phone rang for 3 damn minutes . The second time someone answered and hung up the phone fast, third time I called a rude employee answered right away with a damn attitude and I asked her if she can check if my package was there she told me to " hold on" didn't take any of my info down and kept me on hold for 7 mins until I decided to just hang up the phone ! So now I have to drive up there since these employees can't do their damn job and deliver my fkn package. This post office is an unorganized mess. I absolutely HATE coming to this post office but unfortunately it's the only one closes to home. I asked a clerk if they had tape and she told me no. I never received her name but she had blonde twists in her hair. She could have at least told me they sold tape. I ended up having to leave and drive back to the post office to wait 20 more minutes just to drop off my package. This place has a bad rep. This was quite possibly the most disgusting display of customer service I have ever seen. Waited in one line to have a passport application taken 15 min early for my appointment, for them to rudely tell me that there were other people in front of me and that I needed to wait my turn. Stepped off to wait to have my name called like the last lady instructed me, to be told another 15 min later that I was supposed to wait in a completely separate line. Have been waiting for another 10 min now behind 4 people who all walked in after me, as the lady has been bullshitting with her managers saying she's too busy to take care of something else because she's got all these people on line for a passport. Was instructed by another man here sending a package to go to the post office in Pasadena, and I passionately urge you to do the same. read more

First, I'd like to say that the only cashier present was very friendly and knowledgeable. I believe her name was Brenda. Very friendly with excellent customer service. I rated this site poorly due to lack of assistance from any other employee at this post office. I arrived at 1:10 for a 1:30 passport appointment and was placed to the side till 1:30. At 1:25ish the lady working the counter had asked for another person's assistance. She was told that person was on lunch and they didn't know when she would return. The counter lady also asked numerous times for help due to the extensive line...none was given. At 1:35ish, the other person had not returned from lunch so the counter lady worked on my passport application while also waiting on other patrons. What's the point of having to make an appointment if the staff is going to go to lunch during the time I'm scheduled to be there. At no time was there less than 12 people in line. There was also a very long line outside for parcel pickup. At one point, a customer decided to hold down the buzzer since she had been waiting 45 minutes to pick up a package. An employee from the back walked up and turned the buzzer off but then disappeared into the back again. When I left, at 2:05 there were 16 people in line inside and 10 in line outside, all with only 1 person tending to the customers. read more

Was it 2012 that white collar geniuses at USPS HQ decided to "save 2 billion dollars" by taking away mail processing from smaller town, then closing smallest town post offices? No matter that they were already losing customers to UPS and others. Now it is June 2017 and PRIORITY USPS mail takes from Friday to Thursday to deliver to Houston areas, only 100 miles away from Aggieland IF it doesn't get lost. Lost it NEVER was in all my time sending packages 3-4# or less, as well as letters, post cards, etc. Well it seems they overloads Bottleneck #1 = N. HOU P.O. = this one and didn't give them either the personnel, pay or equipment to keep up with all that. Certainly this office thinks it OK to send out batches of mail to outlying areas, making those postmen have to return to their offices one more time/day = much longer days and our mailbox filling later in day than ever in history. Compare Fri-Thursday PRIORITY to UPS GROUND Fri- Mon, same address, package (tube in this case) 3-4#. REALLY? UGH? Somewhere In the last two years Bottleneck #2 appeared in College Station main office. Some say the give-a-damn, laugh at lost business packages Calvert Master got promoted as Master of it. If it wasn't more our dedicated, always watching out for gremlins rural postman, we would certainly feel "down the tubes". Even our Wellborn office bends over backwards to serve but must send all to C.S. Now we are setup with tubes and boxes aplenty to become as loyal to UPS as once were to USPS. After 5 years, no one would blame us. USPS - trying to put themselves out of business and paying WAY too much for white collar geniuses; this would be THE place to cut costs and give us back those once competent local office managers. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst post office I've ever dealt with in my life! They were without a Post General Manager, or whatever they're called for years and they do whatever they want there. They treat mail like it's an option to deliver it and like it trash most of the time. The manager in my apartments reports them all of the time and now she won't accept mail from them for us anymore so I'm stuck!! They NEVER answer the phone when you call. I've had a carrier send my pkg back supposedly, because it was NEVER found by the company. He refused to release my pkg...I could go on and on. Plus they stuffed my clothing into a small mailbox and it was cut open! These people need to be reported and don't deserve a decent paying job if they can't perform it. I used to work on the delivery service and this behavior was NEVER tolerated, I could have been fired on the spot for some of the stuff these carriers get away with. My mail carrier is lazy I watched him pull up to our apts mailboxes and deliver mail and the package I was expecting to recieve yesterday was small enough to go in the mailbox it was not put In there for me he then leaves without attempting to knock or leave my package at the door or a note to pick it up ...it said on the tracking that he'd left a note and was not able to deliver liar and then I go to pick it up from the post office and have to wait for over an hour rediculous and then be told that it was sent back out to be redelivered by the lazy mail carrier who doesn't want to go up stairs so he just marks as not able to deliver ...please do your job ..thanks.. for literally nothing I should work as a mail carrier so I can get paid to do nothing read more
