Folks will only take time for bad reviews, often it's just a misunderstanding of the process. People are just doing their jobs- share some kindness!

Receive notice the item would deliver June 29 with a photo of the item. It has shown "On the way" since June 28. Went to the PO and the entire facility was being run on n the parking lot. Mail carriers sorting mail by their vehicles, container PODs with mail was n them all over the place. Trying to get help on line or on the phone is impossible. I'm told it's still on the way. For over two weeks now. No hope of receiving the item.

(I am new to Star) I recently witnessed a lady working in the front with pretty eyes who was so kind and patient with an elderly woman while she chatted. When I commented on how I appreciated that she did not rush this older lady, but took time to hear her story, she told me, " I have elderly clients come in that only buy one stamp maybe once or twice a week and I think this may be some of the only interactions they get. They just buy a stamp so they can have a brief conversation with someone." This warmed my heart, and I hope it warms yours. With people like this working here it makes me want to come back. Let's all remember this is the post office and not UPS or FedEx. They are not for profit and so they do not create our labels, or tape up our packages for us. Those are expectations for the profitable corporations that charge double. I still marvel that they will carry my letter across the United States for a fraction of a dollar. I know it has doubled since it was 33 cents in 1999. Uhhh, what about the cost of food in the last 5 years?
