Where do I even start.. LOCATION: terrible.. PARKING: terrible. ENTRY/EXIT: For driving in and out of the small parking lot is near impossible.. you have to spend 10 min driving around the one way blocks to attempt again.. OR you have to park across the street.... WITH ARMS FULL OF PACKAGES.. making multiple trips.. dont get me started on the doors into this facility.. they are PULL doors.. please tell me how thats possible when you have multiple packages to ship.. let alone the long walk up to the front door.. the customer service employees cant even answer questions.. We just moved here and my husband went to the post office to see about services including change of address information. Also to drop off some packages to be mailed. The lady was extremely rude to him and would not help him at all but kept saying he could do it online. True, he could, but we had questions about it that she wouldn't even try to answer. Also, we can't do it online because they only take credit cards with your old address. We have already updated the address on our credit cards. We have gotten nowhere and plan on going to Kuna to get help. Also, the location and parking situation is far from convenient. From reading the other reviews on here, I see we are not the only people very dissatisfied with this location. We definitely will never go there again. read more

4 lost packages in a year. 2 were brought to me by random neighbors. I redelivered a package 2 miles away. They say file a report and they promise a call back in 1-3 days but nobody calls. Items were not replaceable and there is no receipt because it was a gift of art. Going forward a large group of us decided to pay more and use UPS for shipping. read more

I took a package and it was returned and I took it to the Nampa post office asking what the problem is and unfortunately, Judie helped me and she was rude and not helpful at all. Paid $190 for overnight delivery now 10 days later the shipped item is missing. Tracking shows still at Boise distribution center. Their tracking updating is horrible. USPS is where worthless people go to get union jobs and do the bare minimum. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at any post office. I go to the post office daily to ship order out for my business. This was my second time going to this post office in Nampa and I will never go again. The first time the line was out the door and not moving very fast at all. I went to use the self service machine, and the scale was completely off. Today I asked the rep to print the large shipping label that included the receivers address. He argued with me that they did not print shipping labels that included the address. Which is not true! I've sent hundreds of shipping labels that included the receivers address. After spending months with USPS trying to figure out how our 2 foot almost $500 package "disappeared" after I dropped it off at the Nampa Post Office (over four different people from various departments at USPS confirmed that this package, that we were returning back to a merchant, failed to receive a processing scan after it was "dispatched" from the Nampa post office and never made it to the Boise Processing/Distributing Center)..... calling the investigation department and sending a letter to the consumer advocate department.... I get this disappointing letter from USPS Beware, if you send a package through USPS without paying for additional insurance, you are on your own (you would think a package disappearing from the drop off post office location would be an exception). I personally don't think it makes any sense. Last time I checked it was called stealing, but the post office can get away with it. read more

This has to be the worst way to ship or receive packages. They don't show up. I called 6 times. No one answered the phone. It rang for almost 4 minutes then just went busy. I got the local number from my currier. I called the supervisor in the Nampa office, his name is Corey. He was so rude and disrespectful even though they admit the mistake was them he refused to do anything about it. He was very unprofessional and has zero customer service skills. This is why it's better to use UPS or FedEx. USPS is terrible. read more

I don't even use Yelp much anymore but after going to look up the hours for this office I saw the absolutely baseless nonsense being posted. This post office reminds me of a small town office, just like growing up on the coast in towns of 1,000 people or so. Sure you can end up here close to a holiday or a busy hour on the weekday and it's like anything else from Walmart to Costco in terms of wait times. It's the workers here who make it a pleasure, always with a smile and even though I am an infrequent eBay seller they never fail to recognize me, my partner or my kids. Always with a big smile and great interactions with the little ones. They always ensure I get the best bang for the buck when I'm mailing something that doesn't need to be explicitly priority. As far as I am concerned the Nampa Post Office is proof the government works and I enjoy going down there to ship my goods and products. I suggest to others, probably not from around here (please go back btw), just go get a scale and postage from Stamps.com the rest of us like interacting with people in our town. read more

They will not answer their phone. when I tried calling several times, I received a loud noise similar to a fax machine and it was not their fax line. just rude. many post offices are using this approach, but i was able to speak to a live voice when i called a Boise post office however because my issue was not in boise they could not help me. I called another post office in my location and they picked up the phone and hung up.Best advice is to work your way out of postal service through the US post offices and use UPS, fed-x or other services. they answer their phones and can clear matters up quickly. I have been in many a post offices and never see any to busy to answer phones. The employees are very rude p[eople with their phone service and dont deserve my business and they dont even deserve jobs..hence I suggest other postal services who have employess that care read more

I rarely need to go into the post office in Nampa, yet when I do, there are friendly, helpful staff there. I've saved money with their knowledge of shipping options when I've not pre-packaged. The employees refuse to scan in the packages because they are too lazy and tell me it will get scanned somewhere down the line. They do not understand how important it is the packages get scanned in the day the packages are dropped off.
