The lady that helped me was very friendly, and made sure to give me the sale price even though the items were being shipped in to the store. Staples, to me, has always been fairly competitive with their prices, even beating out Best Buy in electronics from time to time.

Here's my story: I was expecting a package with perishables inside. I checked the USPS tracking # and it stated "out for delivery." When the mail came and no package, I checked again and the USPS site had updated to "Package being held for pickup at customers request." I made no such request. Nampa has 2 post offices, but no address was listed. So I went to the post office downtown (5 miles) and waited in line for 20 minutes only to have them explain that the package was given to the wrong courier, and could be picked up at the other post office (another 5 miles). They gave me the address and the phone number. Not even sure why they have a phone# because it immediately goes to a message "Welcome to Verizon wireless, the person you are trying to reach is not available." The next day, the tracking website said it was available for pickup, but offered a "chat", which I tried. What a waste of time that was. There is no human interface as real companies trying to win your business provide, just a chat bot that has no information whatsoever. So I drove to the other post office only to be told that it was out for delivery! Any other business run this way would not be a business. Their tracking website is worthless. Whoever developed it should definitely not be doing websites. We used to laugh at other countries because of how inefficiently government services were run. The US post office is definitely worse. Should be privatized, and closed down in lieu of a business that is actually there to win your business.

Still strolling down memory lane, we came across a family book pertaining to my late grandma's side…read moreof the family, the "K" family (a very German moniker I might add). Flipping through the book and my renewed interest in discovering more about my family tree made me want a copy of my own. Mind you this was a spiral bound book filled with many interesting facts about my family, heck I was even in the book since it was first published in 1985. Grandma recalls having this book bound before by the team at Copies Plus so we went down to place an order for yet another book to be created. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and accomodating. He looked the book over and agreed he could do it the same way. I think it took roughly all day for them to do it and we picked it up the next day. The book was exactly like the other and I couldn't wait to get home with this to discover more about my family. But any how I get it back with a piece of fabric with really nice stiching under my needle. To show how good it was sewing I guess. So I go to use it and the bobbin thread makes a big jammed up mess on the under side of fabric. I look at it and they have the bobbin casing but in wrong. So I got my screw drivers and put it back like it is suppose to be done. What machine they used to sew on that piece of fabric. Because it wasn't mine.
