The first time we went, we wanted to return something we ordered on Amazon. Since UPS services are advertised, we were surprised to find out that SSP does not have the necessary equipment required to provide this service. The second time we went was to buy stamps, so that was easy. The third time we went was for me to get a passport photo. We were informed that their camera was not working. So, two out of three times, we were unable to complete our task at SSP and went to the UPS Store on Linder. I just found out that a UPS Store will be coming to the Ridley's shopping center in Star. At this point, that will probably be where I go for my postal needs.

Today was not one of my normal days so I googled closest FedEx near me and this joint pooped up. I have lived in this area for almost 10 years and never knew about this spot. We always just hit Winco, Home Depot and the food spots. I am really learning more about the store fronts in this center. Pulling up I almost missed it. It's a smaller store but I found me a nice front row parking spot and made my way in. There was a gal working behind the counter. She greeted me and asked what she could do for me. I told her about my packages and she got me squared away. I was also sending some important paperwork to the transplant hospital as well. I needed an envelope and postage. She guided me to the right envelope and got me taken care of. It was a smooth transaction from start to finish. While I was writing the address on the envelope, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by all the fun, local things they had in the store. Local soaps, chapsticks, kitchen towels. It was all so fun to look at. I loved all the fun soaps they had. I could stay there for a while just to smell all of them. I guess this joint has been around for 20 years, crazy. I would have never known to today. This joint is 8 minutes from my house. It's so convenient to be able to drop off my packages without having to go downtown or by the mall. The associate was really kind and they had some fun goodies there. I know where I need to go now when I have any packages to be dropped off in the future.

Its an incredible place to help meet shipping needs. I've gone in twice in the last two days and I've watched the employees work efficiently, quickly, respectfully. They have known customers on a known name basis, I've been so sweet and respectful with elderly customers, worked as a team to have packaging boxes ready and prepped to help me with a multi package shipping project, have had me out and cared for with my transactions in less than ten minutes and there haven't been long lines. I am impressed and will move my needs for shipping over to them moving forward.

With the newer ownership, the GM is a very angry, rude and spiteful woman. (Picture the lunch lady in Jr high who wants to force you to eat overcooked Sysco green beans.) I've watched her get mean with customers for all kinds of reasons, refusing to ship things she's suspicious about, refusing to ship medications... like she's the postmaster with all the authority. She closed my business mailbox for some late payments when I thought it was on auto renew...oops...and she seems to enjoy conflict and talking down to people like she's already arrived at the sumit of all our career aspirations. It's a gross place now. It's better to drive down the street where your business will be appreciated. Avoid at all costs.

And she begrudgingly opened the plastic bag to put it back inside saying "happy returns won't look at it anyways. It's just going to sit there. There's no point in putting it in there." Whether or not this was an accurate statement, this was INCREDIBLY discouraging and not what you want to hear when it comes to sending something of value. Do better.

This past Saturday I went to send three of the same size small packages. After the second was done the woman asked me to stop blowing on her. I have allergies and was exhaling through my mouth but was definitely not blowing on her and said so. She kept up with this and I responded, and I picked up my third package, paid for the two and left as the clerk was yelling "get out of my store." Several times. Today I went back with my third package and was told by the owner's son that they had reviewed the camera feed and decided I had behaved "unprofessionally" and was no longer allowed in the store. I have never experienced such bizarre behavior anywhere before in my life. Is it a customer's responsibility to behave professionally when being insulted by a clerk saying something untrue? I think not.
