Eh.... My least favorite place to go. Always understaffed and always a long line. Every USPS I go…read moreto is the same story. If anyone knows a well staffed, quick-serviced USPS, please let me know!! With that being said.. this post office is on the smaller end.. Usually only one customer service worker up front. Sometimes two... Let me tell you..the lines can get quite long. Since this location is somewhat small, they also have a smaller selection of post office supplies than other ones I've been to. The selection of flat rate boxes, priority boxes etc...are pretty bare. Tip: you can order USPS shipping supplies online at no cost. It does take almost 10 days to get to you, but you can order a bunch of stuff that you can't find in store. Also, if you ship priority, make sure to use their tape. Don't waste your money on tape. If you go at less busy times, this place can be wonderful, but..if you run into issues..be ready to WAIT! I've waited 45+ minutes here before... Especially when you run into people who's getting their passport. If you live near the U campus, it might be a better option to go to the one in Coffman. That one is better staffed, but not a lot of shipping supplies.. probably less than this one here. With that said, USPS usually delivers the cheapest shipping...so the wait is usually worth it. So if you got time..come here.

I went over to the other side of the Quarry to Office Depot and they opened my drive and printed my files. Outside the store I could hear music blasting and figured it was someone's car stereo, no it was inside the store. Blaring hard core vile lyrics, so loud a customer was telling the lone employee what's needed and having to shout. As I've seen before the employee was having trouble with equipment. I don't mind music of all types in the proper setting, but I never heard a business blast the speakers like this. What really got me was the explicit vile lyrics. This would be a total embarrassment for those entering with children. "..daddy what's that lady singing about"? Out the door to the quiet Depot and my job completed.

Deserves Zero stars!!!! Paid for 3-day Select. Told up front the suit pants was coming from NY…read moreand may take 4 business days. It didn't come. On day 8, I called the store. After 1.5 hours and a lot of hold time. I was given the tracking number. The package was going to be delivered on day 13. Two days later UPS shows the delivery date delayed 2 more days and will come to our house 4 hours after the Black Tie wedding has been preformed. No one has seen the suit pants since day 7. UPS just keeps backing up the delivery date. The store finally called UPS. The suit pants were not sent 3 day select, but 10 day ground because the shipper gets to chose what they will pay for no matter what you paid for. The pants went from NY to Philly to IL and then past IA & MN to Wichita KS, but it is supposed to come back to MN in the next 10 days. Either on the night after the wedding is performed or sometime later. Neither UPS nor the store cared. The store could not find these pants in any other store in the US. UPS refused to find the pants and expedite their delivery or honor their 3-Day Select option. UPS Facebook is full of examples of 12- 20 cities/stops before a package is delivered. Very sad!!

It's a used bookstore with more than 40,000 books; so prepare to spend at least an hour (if not an afternoon) perusing the bookshelves. It's easy to get lost in the stacks here, as there are LOTS of hallways and a labyrinth of rooms. There is a room for small gatherings, a rare book room, and an alcove to tuck away with a book. One window in the store has a bit of nostalgia as it overlooks Bob Dylan's old apartment (and is now the Loring Bar). If you love a used bookstore and a historic site, this place is worth a visit.

Of course this is still a very operational post office being a main distribution hub. They have drop boxes and a small selection of packaging materials.
