Today was just another bad experience. I'd expect this kind of behavior at the USPS or the DMV where you're forced to do business. Well on 7/10/15 I dropped off a package in the am....turned and walked out...which I have done several times. Apparently my package disappeared. Shame on me for not sticking around to see it scanned with my own eyes....but I suppose if they really want to find out they can review the camera footage. I started to write a nasty review, but I must say that Tina and Sylvia took my number, came up with ideas and did their due diligence. Man finally comes to counter and atempts to help me but then says he can't because they aren't authorized to receive package for my company return. ??? say what...i am returning an office item my company has pre-arranged w their FedEx business account. I have the required email w QR code. he then says she can do an override possibly and ship it but then after 15 mins she refused to even try to assist. Saying I need to go to an office fedex in thr next town over... which by this time closes in 10 mins and are 20 mins away. so I was unable to ship my package on time and will have to leave work early and go to another FedEx twice as far tommorrow because she chose to not even attempt to put any effort into supporting a customer. My girlfriend had been waiting on me in her bathroom and I had been in the restroom for a while dealing with my bowel movement issues -- something no customer should have to justify. When we came out, Roy immediately approached us in a hostile, confrontational manner and snapped, "What do y'all need?" When I questioned why he was being so rude, his explanation was that "homeless people come and steal." So what does that mean? Was he implying we were homeless? Accusing us of stealing? Either way, it was completely inappropriate and insulting. A manager should know how to handle customers with basic respect, not make assumptions or treat people with hostility. Roys attitude was unacceptable, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for someone in a leadership position. This is genuinely one of the first times I've ever been treated like this by a manager in any store. The lack of professionalism and the assumptions he made were unacceptable. I will be contacting corporate next, because behavior like this should not be tolerated -- especially from someone in a leadership position.
