Here's the thing about old documents,like maybe some of you out there, I still had a lot left going back some 16 to 17 years. Now like a lot of people out there I have a shredder. Let's be honest though,how many of us (10 pages at a time) will actually shred such a big amount in a relatively short time? Raise your hand. (Pause). Yeah me neither. This is where neighborhood parcel comes into the picture. They are quick and efficient. If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless. If you've got a whole lot of documents you have been "meaning to get to" bring them here.

A woman who works there scanned the packages and I tried to be helpful by asking where she would like me to put them. They were already on a dolly so it's much easier for me to move them to where they needed to be than for them to carry them. The woman hesitantly pointed to where they needed to go behind the counter and I sensed her nervousness as she glanced over at the manager. I stated I was simply trying to help but I'd leave them in the middle of the floor if that's what they preferred. I was told it was ok to put them behind the counter. John the manager didn't say a word but stared at me as if I had committed a criminal act. I have no idea whether or not he berated the employee after I left but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. What I can say is I've dealt with him in the past and I was surprised when I saw that he still worked there. As others have stated, he's a miserable person to deal with and I feel he most certainly has anger issues, does not represent the Company well and does not have the personality traits to effectively deal with customers.

I told him I was shipping a letter via two day priority mail and he went out of his way to get the appropriate envelope behind the counter and put my letter into it himself! Usually at post offices, they'll just point you over in the general direction of all the assorted envelopes and have you do it yourself. Because of him assisting with this, I was in and out very quickly! A huge plus with my two kids in tow.
