One stop shopping at this very tiny office. There are no mail carriers out of the office. Also,…read morethere is no post master at this location; just one woman who works hard behind the counter. Private and shared parking lot, plus on street parking. The rating is 4 because it is a one person shop and 1 staff person to handle during the rush is crazy. You can stand in line for quite a bit just to get stamps. You are better off buying the stamps online. The rating is also 4 because it is such a small office which means very few P.O. boxes to lease. There is usually a waiting list for the P.O. boxes. Otherwise, the woman staff member works hard and handles all the mail all day long every day of the week and on Saturday. I don't know how she does it. I do remember when there were a couple staff working the office.

However my experience there this morning wasn't good. Not familiar with the location I wasn't sure if they prefer prepaid/ labeled packages given to them directly at the windows....or if they have a bin to drop them in. So I decided to ask and got in line. The 2 clerks who were obviously having some type of amusing conversation among themselves at the time both shot me looks from....well, you know where. The way they answered me was beyond condescending... very uncomfortable to say the least. So much so that I just pushed my packages thru the plexiglass and walked out. There is absolutely no need to treat a customer this way! And I hope these juveniles don't decide to drop the packages in a circular file....so I WILL be tracking them.... Horrific. They refuse to bring packages to our door. They said I had to pick up at the postal…read moreoffice even though they have it on the truck they will not walk to the door. I explained I am walking disabled and they went into a long narrative about how they will not bring a package to the door - and to the end said it is possible to get a medical form to have packages left at the door. She went on to explain how difficult and long the process would be to get this medical exception. She claimed it could take up to a year to get this exception approved. The USPS admin office said it was simple and fairly quick. She went on to say she could not get in my building do to security key pad. I said UPS, FedX etc.... all come in as did the former USPS carrier - we can give the key to package delivery companies or she can text me and I can buzz her in via my phone. She insisted the lack of her having a key code was an obstacle to bringing in my packages completely ignoring I just gave her 2 perfectly suitable ways to get in. I called the US postal admin and they said it is very easy form and only requires a doctors signature to confirm disability. They asked if I wanted the form, but to be honest, I am worried what might happen to mail/package if I go over her head. She was very clear she does not want to walk to my door. If her superiors insist she does - I just don't trust she will take that well. She/this usps office is frustrating to many residents. If this reads as a frustrated person is writing it, yes it is a frustrating to deal with this office and this woman in particular.

I recently left 4 items at Anton's in Nbpt; 2 table runners and two shirts. I did not ask for cost…read morewhen dropping off. When I went to pick up my 4 items, they charged me $100 for the 4! The clerk had no explanation as to why the simple table runners, cotton and simple, would be over $40 each. As I looked around I realized there were no signs listing the cost of items. I felt I had no choice but to take and pay for my items. When I came home I received two different texts asking me to rate their services. I answered with exactly what is above here. I have not received any acknowledgement from this business whatsoever and would not recommend them. BTW: the table runners were purchased at home goods for &15 each, and I paid $40 each to have dry cleaned! And got no response when I answered their customer service questionnaire!!!! Guess Anton's doesn't really care about their customer! I am a 78 yr old woman and living on a fixed income. This was a hardship for me financiall, and as an elderly woman I have been totally disrespected! I could not post this without checking a Star, otherwise I would not have checked !!!
