The experience I had at Palmer's today was by far the best I've ever had from a drycleaners. I found out via email today (midday Sunday) that a company I'm interviewing at asked me to come in tomorrow at 3:00pm. I frantically searched the web for a drycleaners that was open on Sunday - let alone one that could get a full suit drycleaned overnight for Monday morning. Amazingly, Palmer's said it was no problem. Not only that, but when I got there both of the clerks were alerted that I was coming in and knew me by name. It was great, friendly service, an extremely fair price, and they went out of their way to fill my order. I will go back here as often as I can.

I have used numerous laundromats to clean blankets BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I have used one that didn't have presoak/ prewash on the machine! It has two dispensers to put your detergent in so that's usual, one for presoak/wash and the other for the wash cycle. Yah no not here! I put my presoak in...oxyclean then I watched for it to switch cycles and put more oxyclean and then my soap. I noticed this cycle was not HOT and I had to pay extra for hot water! I told the attendant who said" it's on the rinse cycle!". So now you can see all the soap suds in the machine as it is spinning them out and the girls said " now you have to pay another $22.50 to get the soap out!". Excuse me? Your machine had no prewash cycle.. No so I didn't have another $22.50 to put into a machine that didn't even clean the blankets! When I got home with the wet stuff I stuck it in the tub with hot water. And attached it a picture of the first load I soaked in the tub trying to get out the soap .... Notice the dirt in the water!!!! Those machines DID NOT CLEAN the blankets! I had figured that the commercial machines would have hotter water than the household hot water heater has but to see this amount of dirt from just one load of "washed" blankets is disturbing! And I have two more loads left to give out! The washing time on the big machine was only about 5 minutes and the rinse cycle was longer than the wash cycle! I am not happy with this laundromat!
