I come here weekly due to being a daycare owner. We love this place since it's centrally located and near our daycare. They do an amazing job and we drop off laundry every Friday and pick it up on Sunday. You can bring your own detergent if you have super sensitive skin or they have some as well. The self wash is open everyday if you have bulky items or just wanna wash your own clothes. If you're looking for a laundromat then look no further and come here. Clean, the machines take currency, credit cards. There is an automatic door button for when you are carrying in tons of laundry so you don't hit yourself with the door, very thoughtful. Super nice staff, I have been there probably 10 times and every time has been a positive experience. read more

Sunshine Laundry gets 5 stars in every aspect of a small business laundrymat. My home washer died in the middle of a wash cycle and I was left with 6 loads to go. I called around for help to other laundries but none would pick up and deliver because I was not on their "route". Recently having spinal surgery I was unable to lug all those bags around. I finally got in touch with Sue at Sunshine Laundry, I told her my dilemma and she said she would be happy to help me out and take care of every thing 6 loads of laundry involved. She does not have a laundry truck ( and she has no "route") but drove over to my home in her car by 9:30 and had all the clothes washed, dried, and folder in neat bundles, returning them here by 3:30. To me, Sue demonstrated the perfect example of a caring, compassionate, and kind woman business owner that saw someone in need and stepped in to get the job done. I was there last Sunday and asked the assistant (Michelle I believe) for assistance with the dryer. I thought it had already charged my card twice ($1.25 each time). Michelle ran a company card and got the drier going for me... She then said if I go online and show that I was overcharged that she would refund me. I said it was a dollar and I wasn't concerned a with a refund, but didn't want to be triple charged. She came back asking if I was able to check my credit card, giving me the WIFI password.. She came back again asking if I know what was charged. I said I do not because I don't know my password to log into online banking. Now she is saying I owe her $1.. I said I wasn't able to check how can you be sure? She then said she was calling the owners and would figure this issue out. At this point I am embarrassed by her continually approaching me about ONE DOLLAR. She came back and said I was only charge 0.25¢ and to pay the $1 before I leave. If she could have checked what was changed on her end, why didn't she just do that in the beginning!? WHY in the world was she demanding a customer to pull up their account?! Extremely unprofessional .. At this point I am so aggravated that I take my clothes home WITHOUT folding them. I come here almost weekly, but will never be back. And for the record I WAS CHARGED TWICE .... Shady. Please see the below charges on my account, which have been added to the YELP photos. Also, the lady mentioned she HAD to ensure I paid or else it would be bad for her.. if that's true, which I don't think it is, then shame on the company for making an associate feel as if they have to harass costumers $1.50 for the load (I believe it charged 0.25¢ & then $1.25) The other $1 charge is what I paid on my way out with half dry/wrinkled laundry because I was lied to about being chgarged 0.25¢ read more

Clean facility, fast service, friendly staff. I had to drop my laundry off for wash and fold service while traveling. They asked if I wanted regular or free/clear detergent, set up an account for me quickly, and texted me when my stuff was ready for pickup in less than 2hrs (their standard turnaround time)...all for a reasonable price. I've come here a few times, place is always so clean, owner wipes down machines often, making me feel safe. Masks are required inside the building. Staff is always so friendly. I love that they accept Credit cards, but also have change machines. read more

Pretty good laundromat. We just moved and our dryer hasn't been converted to propane yet so we needed to wash lots of clothes. Pros: nice big washers and dryers. The dryers actually dry your clothes in a decent amount of time. Pretty clean laundromat. Cons: a bit more expensive than other laundromats we've used. We'll definitely use them again because they're the best we've found so far. read more

I only give this place 3 stars, I find it is clean and no problems with anything except the loud TV, this is going to drive us to go someplace else. The TV is so loud that I cannot stand it, have to wait in my car, It is like this every time I have gone, always on the loudest shows like the view, with screaming audiences, Really do we really need TV? how about just reading? read more

I just moved to Salem and still haven't sorted out the washer/dryer in my new house so have had to go to the laudromat (this is the 2nd time). The first time I went across the street (by accident because I was actually looking for Sunshine!) and it was ok/your typical laundromat experience (who really likes it anyway?) but I have to say my experience at Sunshine Laundry Center was completely different (I actually enjoyed it!). Everything was super clean, in good working condition (even thoughtful enough to provide ziploc bags for your quarters!) and the woman on duty (wish I had asked her name but I won't forget next time) was just fantastic (Sat evening 1/16/21)! Super diligent, enthusiastic and just did very, very high quality work (how I work so I notice those things)...totally impressed with Sunshine Laudry Center and suspect I will be back soon (at least as long as I have to!). Oh, and there was no blarring TV like one other reviewer mentioned (but I did have that exact experience across the street). I came with earbuds but didn't need them...just watched "Meet the Parents" at a normal sound level and was laughing my a-- of the whole time! read more

I rarely wash my clothes at the laundry mat. I only wash my blankets and my pillows. The lady at the front desk with blonde hair was starring at me the whole time I walked in. I go the dryer closer to the front and she says "are all the other dryers being used" and I say yes. Mind you there's 6 other dryers on that side not being used. And than the lady says "I need one of the dryers for me" rudely. I thought customers come first? Also after that I brushed it off and than she comes over to say to say the owner doesn't like pillows being dried. There is no sign stating that. I've never heard of anyone complain about pillows at a laundry Mat before. They have no problems putting up a sign about the last wash should put one up for pillows too. And than follows me all the way to the vending machine. Not sure if this lady was obsessed with me or racist but I defiantly will never come back to this place again. At least across the street the people who are working don't bother you and clean the place up. read more

The women that was working today was Lovely and kind. Very clearly works hard. But this review is the owner who happened to be completely unprofessional and came in and berated his employee for almost twenty minutes because a customer said she said something in Spanish as a person who works with many different dialects of Spanish it may get confusing for you don't be arrogant and don't do that in front of your customers. This review gets five stars because because of your employee not you. read more
