Maybe this place should post LAST WASH IS AT 6:30PM on the front of their website. A whole 90 minutes before they close. SAD! read more

Horrendous staff without a kind word that the washers turn off at 6:30. while she's talking on the phone she can't be bothered to warn the customers that the washers are closing, not even a five minute warning and no clock in site. Got yelled at by the staff because I mention how a warning eould have been helpful and kind. She's to busy on the phone to be helpful and very aggressive. extremely unpleasant experience. read more

Very very clean - attendant Cecily (sp?) was so nice and helpful. Helped me set up a laundry card and made sure I knew exactly what to do!

OH MY GOODNESS! I am 100% ditching my old laundromat. My usual (which has no A/C, still uses coins, etc.) was closed today due to an emergency, so I did a quick Google search of nearby laundromats. I used to live in Derry so finding this location was so easy. I was immediately greeted by Aimee (Amy?) who helped me out so much because I looked like a deer in headlights. Gone are the days of coin operation - everything is done via card making things cleaner and more sanitary. Green Collar isn't just a name - the owners put a lot of work into making this laundromat eco-friendly with plenty of green options. The interior is adorable - looks like it was decorated with items from Michaels, Marshalls, etc. My months loads of laundry (don't judge) were finished in just over an hour. This place is beautiful, brightly lit, and everyone is so friendly. I've definitely found my new go-to laundromat. read more

The owner/manager of this laundromat was so nice to my daughter and I. She answered all my daughters questions she had regarding her laundry. My daughter had a lot of questions seeing as how she just moved out on her own. This facility used to be a Taco Bell several years ago, which has now been converted into a beautiful, well kept laundromat. read more

Green Collar Laundromat - Laundromat Near Me - Derry, New Hampshire

wish I could leave a zero review... went in today (4/9/2024) and had 30 pounds of bedding to bring to my car. The two ladies refused me access to a cart outside. I told them I would bring it right back. They told me I couldn't take it outside so I had to pick up this large load of laundry by myself with to offer of help. come to find out I'm missing a pillow case... don't go here. read more

$2 to buy a card, $2 per 10 minutes to dry. What a rip off. I would not recommend this place.

Was fine with this place until this past encounter. The woman who runs it had the front doors wide open, sat in her car directly across from the entrance and chain smoked for the entire duration of my washer and dryer time. The smell carried into the store and it was incredibly unprofessional and off putting. Thankfully there are other more affordable options just a bit farther away from me that I will be happy to go to. I'm sure others have found the owner informative, but her method of sharing this information is to lecture random customers about how much or little laundry they are washing, their soap choices, etc. It made for a stressful experience. read more

I was completely satisfied with my first-ever visit today. The attendant, Sogna, greeted me warmly and was so helpful in letting me know how the laundromat works and assisted me in choosing the washer and dryer I needed. She's obviously very knowledgeable about all the machines there and even warned me against using hot water on my wash load because she knew it was stained and hot water could set stains in. The facility itself is beautiful - bright and clean. The dryer got nice and hot and dried my bedding (a thick comforter and a few blankets) in 40 minutes. I will definitely be back and will recommend Green Collar to anyone!!! read more

I have major water leaking from the running pipes underground from house to well, backyard could be used for skating. Since laundry was backing up and the leaks can't be worked on until next week I had no option but to find a laundromat. As soon as I entered Green Collar, I noticed how clean it was. Lorree greeted me with a welcoming smile. She explained how everything ran, the different size machines and what they could hold. I figured at least 3 washers, she smiled and said two would be fine. I had the "pod" type detergent and she explained all about those little buggers and went so far as to break them open, squeeze the detergent into the washer and got her fingers ucky instead of mine!! As I waited I watched how attentive she was to the other customers. This was such a great experience. I would highly recommend Green Collar to all, you might actually enjoy doing laundry!!! read more

We had to use a laundromat since our washing machine was broken. We were pretty unprepared for the entire thing as we brought our clothes in a basket which wasn't allowed due to covid. Lori was the attendant and was extremely nice and helpful. She gave us a bag to use to put our clothes into and then helped with the machine and gave us another bag to haul our clothes out after. She was very friendly the entire time and explained everything to us. The laundromat itself was nice and clean and not what we were expecting. read more

First time in a laundromat. Very helpful ladies and I could use my own laundry basket.

Love this place. It's always super clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. They have complimentary FREE WiFi. My favorite part about coming here is they have a GIANT washer. We've all been there where our laundry just piles up and up and up. Before we know it we are wearing an ole tee shirt from back in the day with some crazy Christmas designed yoga pants. If this sounds familiar don't fret, their giant washer will save the day. I can usually fit about everything my family owns for clothing in one load. (Minus towels and bedding). And trust me, we have a lot of clothes. I believe it can fit over 100lbs in one load. Anyway, before my husband starts to think I love the washer more than him, moving on. The machines themselves are all newer and best part? They're super clean as well. Nothing I hate more then going to the laundromat and leaving feeling like My clothes were dirtier than when I arrived. I'm just glad I don't have that issue there. Anyway, I highly recommend this place. read more

I've never rated a laundromat but thought this one deserved a comment. We liked our experience here. It was clean - the washers and dryers worked well, the restroom was clean, the snack machine was well-stocked, and the assistant was exceptionally helpful. This laundromat utilizes a "laundry card," sort of a debit card, for regular patrons but the assistant is able to start the machines for you and keep track of the balance you owe - no need to bring quarters. It was not the lowest cost laundromat we've been to but neither was it the most expensive. We paid about $12 for three loads - front loader washer and large commercial dryers. We travel all around the country and have experienced quite a variety of laundromats. This is definitely a good facility. Would we go back? YES! read more

This was fine, bright and clean. It's all automated, you don't put quarters in the machine, you have to buy a card with value on it. You also can leave your dirty laundry and they do wash/dry/fold for you. read more

Bright, clean and enough room where you don't feel you are on top of strangers. The staff is friendly and helpful. You buy and use their card and put money on it. You can register the cards which is helpful in case you loose it. The washers are efficient and don't need much detergent. There is a price difference for hot water and cold water which I guess is nice. The dryers are not very efficient at all and are .25 cents for 6 minutes. What a different feel from NH laundromats compared to MA laundromats. Still getting use to it. read more

This laundromat is amazing, the attendant was incredible. It was my first time and she was very bubbly, warm and pleasant. I felt like I was the only customer and I was clearly not. Because of my experience I will only go here. Very clean place and comfortable. I was very wowed!!!! Thank you for making something so dreadful to do a pleasant and happy experience. read more

The woman at the counter was very helpful, with choosing the correct size washing machine, all smiles and helpful attitude, not to mention my clothes were all washed in 13 minutes flat holy cow! read more

They are not open until 9PM that would be a lie. I attempted to go in at 8PM (my laundry had averaged to like 40 minutes) the other day and after the attendant was done chatting with friends and I already carried 40 lbs of laundry in and had started to load it she in formed me "No no we turn the machines off at 7:45PM." Which was not posted any where... until the next day. There is a brand new sign on the door that says machines are off at 7:45PM. Look at that!!! Your welcome! I went in the next day to take the remainder of money off of my card. Was greeted by another staff who kind of listened to me, deflected my comments because other area cleaners stop two hours before close. (However this is irrelevant because these places list it on the front door.) Then stated that she didn't believe that the associate would have given me attitude. Awesome, I explained to her that I really didn't care did not have time to argue since I didn't get to do my laundry and still need to find a place, and would just like the cash off of the laundry card. She takes the card puts it in the machine and apparently can't cash it out because it's over $x.xx. I need to see the owner. Okay let me talk to the owner? Not here. When is she here? She comes and goes.... Thanks. Thanks a lot. read more

I'm pleased with this laundromat. First time here today and its great. The prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly/helpful. I love the fact that i don't have to worry about change. I got the card the machines take, it was easy to set up and use. Another cool thing...they have tanning. Haha Convenient and smart on their part. I think this is the place for me! read more

I've had mixed experiences at this establishment. My first encounter here was when I heard of this wash and fold service ringing in at the ultra affordable price of $1.25 a pound!! Super convenient for the occasion when I've let my laundry pile up and need a little kick start to get myself back on track. My first experience with the wash and fold was mediocre, the end result was fantastic don't get me wrong but I was sold on the ploy that I could drop it off and pick it up same day. Although this is sometimes the case for me it was not. I dropped my laundry off on a Monday and was unable to get it back until late Tuesday night because they were "busy". Again, when I did receive it I was very happy with the quality of the finished product just waited a little too long in my Opinion . My second experience with this location was with a friend he went in to utilize these services and was informed he didn't even have the option of dropping it off he could although do it himself. He was told this by an overwhelmed woman with a snarky attitude. When he returned to switch his load to the dryer he was informed that they close promptly at 9, doors locked lights off. I would urge all to be cautious and expect some sort of hurtle in there experience. All in all a good spot read more

The new location offers more convenient parking and the same terrific customer service I have always enjoyed! Both the owner and attendant are very helpful and informative! read more

It was a great place for me to wash my blankets and other winter stuff. I stopped by yesterday and found it was closed. Unfortunately I have a card from them that still has money on it so I will have to figure out how to get a refund. There is a for sale sign up on the business. If anyone can give me an idea how to get a refund that would be great. read more

This is as good as it gets for a laundry mat. Excellent customer service, clean and efficient.Anyone who is constantly complaining can always go up the street. I personally drive 20 minutes each way to use this laundry mat. read more

This place needs to make sure all machines are putting out hot water when you select the cycle hot. I tested all temps on all machines and they are not hot yet they charge you more, not to mention I always have an itch to my clothes due to lack of hot water. Hot water is superior and cleans well. Looks as if they try to cut corners/costs by keeping there water heater way low. One tip for the business owner, if the customer pays for hot water and wants hot water, make sure that it's ready on call when the selection for hot is pressed. Your machines do not wash properly in cold water. As of now anyone who selects hot or warm at this location will ONLY get COLD! If you want to run a business, run it correctly. I know it's dirty Derry and the standards are set way low, but this doesn't mean you can rip off customers. Please fix this issue ASAP! Customers want to feel hot water mixing with there detergent so they have superior clean clothes. No half fasts gimmicks. Please and thank you ! read more

went inside to ask if they do alterations, as the Yelp page says they do. I was told, no, they didn't. I responded with, "your Yelp page says you do, so you might want to change that." and was then told that they don't have a Yelp page. read more

I'm giving this place a 2 star because they have taken over 48 hours for wash dry and fold and I guess I wouldn't mind but while I was there doing my own separate other items that couldn't be done with this service the woman that was supposed to be doing the wash dry and fold spent most of her time talking to every customer that was in there maybe if she spent more time doing what her job was it wouldn't have taken more than 48 hours and I still have no clothes. The woman was very nice but not very efficient place was clean and pricing was fair read more

I had to knock it down a star for a few reasons. Firstly, there is always a yucky smell, especially towards the back. Secondly, being a cleaner, "nicer" laundromat compared to most others, I would like to see disinfecting wipes available for customers to use on the carts and laundry-folding tables. Think about it: you do this at the grocery store because people touch the handle. Imagine what gets on the carts when dirty clothes are placed inside them. Thirdly (and some are better than others), the employees annoy me. There is one woman that works there regularly and her boyfriend is always there, standing at the counter, chatting with her, and following her around while she works her shift. I don't care but sometimes I need to change or there is a problem with the card machine or what not. There is also a new, younger employee. I am sure they are all encouraged to be customer-friendly; however, during my last trip, she would not leave me alone. I am a regular customer and have been for quite some time. I don't need her following me around, asking me if I have registered my card, and telling me what can and cannot be washed. Please, leave me alone, let me do my laundry, and I will ask for help if I need it. read more

I had a great experience today. I've been to other laundromats and have to say I have never had an employee actually want to help me with tips and advice, and she saved me money. Two people were on and the place was pretty busy (it was a Sunday), myself and 4 others were all new there and both women were so helpful. They do offer tanning while you wait, if you are into that sort of thing, and you will need to purchase a laundry card through them which only cost $1.00. You can use cash or credit to put money on it, but the balance carries over. The washers are heavy duty, 14 minute wash, drying is .25 per 6 minutes. I think it was 4.65 for the 40 pound washer, which holds a ton of stuff....2 baskets full. They also have rewards points for laundry, and I got a coupon for a free tanning visit that I will give to a co-worker. Oh and they are also a dry cleaner, but I don't need that service usually except special occasions. read more

This is my very first time writing a review, I just have to say I use to use this laundry mat a couple years ago, when I first got out on my own and didn't have a washer and dryer. I noticed they were always very adamant about closing at 9, they almost made me feel uneasy when I would walk in in the afternoon after around 7ish( after getting out of work) like they didn't want my business because they would rather go home. They didn't know how long I would take so they would rather just say no than risk me being there past 9. I'm back 2 years later and even though they close at 9 - the last wash is at 7:45 . I went in at 8:30 (not knowing last wash was at 7:45) only having to wash one small load for my daughter and they refused to let me wash, I explained I only had to do a small load and not dry because my washer was broken. She said they're machines close down at 7:45 and I could not wash my clothes. So needless to say I don't suggest going here any time after 7:30 because you're only going to feel rushed and like you're aggravating the employees because they need to get home... this is going on 3 years off and on I've experienced this. read more
