i've driven by this place many a time but never thought i'd have to actually use their services until this afternoon when, upon putting yet another $1.50 worth of quarters into my apartment building's one dryer (for, oh, 25+ people), i realized my clothes were still sopping wet. *damn* so i hurriedly put the clothes in a basket and went over to laundry day. in a frenzied state, i asked some random woman, who happened to be an employee there (lucky me) how much it costs to dry. i think she could sense my frenzied state (it was a bad day for other reasons as well) and told me to just put them in (they have those HUGE MEGA dryers) and she'd turn it on for me. 25 cents per 10 min which came out to the same it would have cost me at the apartment building, but no way would the 75 cents i gave her for a half hour have compared to what 75 cents would have done in the dryer at the apartment. we're talking FAST & HOT & QUICK- just how i like it. luckily, i brought a magazine to tide me over. the place was very clean, i must say. they had adequate seating and a few tvs here and there. i later learned, and from other reviews, that you typically buy a card to do washes and dry; guess i was just lucky that this woman gave me a break. the only complaint i had was that it was bitterly cold in there- even the woman who was so nice to me who worked there was bundled up in a jacket when i left. not sure how much they charge to wash, but those MEGA dryers are worth every sweet penny! read more

This place is a joke! These people are not professional when you tell them listen all my brand new clothes are missing so where are the cameras? What are we gonna do about this? $7 for one load washed and tiny machine could hardly fit a full load. I ended up spending $14 just to wash my clothes and that's not even including the cost of drying. Very very disappointed. :( never paid this much for basic laundry experience not even that nice of a facility either... paid like $2 a load at the last place I went in Manchester so that was what I was expecting, might just be mass prices but atleast the staff was very helpful and friendly. read more

Everyone else is raving about the cleanliness and friendly staff, and they are right for the most part. I've had one issue in the past 4 years with a staff member, so not too bad. But... The clientele at this location has caused many issues with our 2 little daughters. Many of the kids from "the area" come along with their parent(s) to do laundry and are much too rough. I have not seen many parents actually control their children, so as a result they run wild throughout the facility making trouble. My wife even got knocked over by a 9 year old who was running around, and when we brought the issue to the attendant, you'd have thought we were waving a beat stick in someones face! The parent of the child got extremely upset with my wife for whatever reason. That was the last time we went. We've been going to Marsh Avenue since - better pricing, cleaner facility and friendly people. read more

At first I was so happy to find a wash and fold, and gave it a try. My blouses were hung up on hangers and seemed clean. I went again. The next time, the coffee stains on my sheets were still on the sheets when I made the bed! I thought I would just tell them the next time. I went to pick up the last load, and my blouses were missing. The attendant and I looked for them for a half hour. She was new. I weighed the clothes I picked up, and they were .54 lb less than what I dropped off. I was expecting to see my blouses on hangers. One blouse weighed .36 oz....there were several missing. To replace will be in the neighborhood of $600. Now I am a business woman, and I need to look sharp. I don't shop at Walmart. I was dropping off my INC, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, White House Black Market, Michael Kors, Anne Klein, North Face and other designer labels. I was very nice about it at first, was told I would be called, but they made sure they did not give me the business owner's name. So far, no call. I will update if this is straightened out, but so far I'm out my nice clothes, and someone out there is walking around in designer labels that they did not pay for. It's one thing if an employee steals, but another when the business owner does nothing about it. Then they are in effect stealing too. They are reinforcing the thief. They have liability insurance for this sort of thing but can't take the trouble. Should you trust these people with your things? I never will again. read more

Definitely not gonna come back to this place. My boyfriend and I are still relatively new to the area, so we've been trying out different laundromats in the area because the washer and dryer at our apartment building sucks. My boyfriend stumbled upon this place because we wanted to see if there was a cheaper laundromat and if any place had free wifi. I'm only giving this place 2 stars because of the free wifi and it was kind of cheaper than the last place we had gone to. The place was not clean at all. The washers that were the right size for the amount of clothes we needed to wash were filthy on the inside. Literally, all of them. The cleanest one had old, washed up tissue in it. We used that one and of course, got tissue all over our "clean" clothes. When it was time to put our clothes in dryer, we figured that the time the dryer said was going to be the right amount of time to have our clothes dry because no where did it say that if you wanted to add more time you just have to keep your card in the slot and keep hitting the start button. We only figured that out at the end when my boyfriend kept hitting start by accident because he thought it wasn't reading the card. Sooo.. because of this, we wasted more time than anything. read more

Everyone that works here is kind and friendly. I usually do laundry later at night to avoid the crowds. One guy who works there is always asking to help me carry my laundry either in or back out to my car when I'm finished. So nice! If you saw the amount of laundry I bring in you'd understand how much I appreciate his help. read more

Pros: * They take credit cards! This works for me because I hate having to get cash to do laundry. You have to buy a laundry card and add money to that. But, the attendant will let you use the store card if you're nice enough and are just checking the place out. * They have TVs! * They have a computer! Typically occupied by a single mom updating her facebook. * They are open wicked late. Last wash is around 11:30pm. Last wash at my previous favorite laundry place, Marsh Ave, is 9pm and the attendants there are understandably irritated when you stroll in at 8:45. * They have a lot of machines, and a couple of HUGE washers that are equal to 9 loads or so, according the laundry basket icons on the outside of the it. * They have a bathroom for customers! Marsh Ave has a bathroom, but you aren't using it. * It's next door to Pizza Etc, which has a very decent slice and greek salad. Good way to spend your wash cycle. Cons: * You have to buy a laundry card that costs a couple of bucks. Really not that big a deal, but I was hesitant. * The dryers are not as good as Marsh Ave, where drying is free and fast. * It's cold in there, at least this winter. As you can see, way more pros than cons. Initially, I was turned off by Laundry Day and didn't go back for a year. Too many people, too many kids, and just too much fun for me. But now, it's my new favorite! The secret is to go off-peak hours to avoid a crush of crazies, Section-8ers and the like. read more

Not very happy with the prices. I had to use their service for a giant disaster at home and even though the price to dry was wonderful I needed to run the machines multiple times to get the clothes to dry completely. The people working seemed to be distracted and unhappy to be there. read more
