I'm not 100% sure if this is where my certified mail got damaged, misplaced or lost behind a bin, but I am very upset. I usually drive and drop off mail to goffstown but I decided to certify my letter and brought it to my local mail office in Atkinson. I brought it there October 6th and post office said it should arrive in 2 days and it's good you certified it. Well it's now October 17th and still it has not been delivered. They don't deserve the 1 star. My son got hired and while in his 2nd day of training classes Rebecca and Kenneth said he looked impaired and told him to grab his things and leave. My husband and I had to go pick him up because they wouldn't let him drive home saying he was impaired. We were asking Amber (said she was the postmaster) why they were sending him home and all she kept saying was "that she was following protocol". My son has sleepy eyes and they assumed he was "high". So we took him to the Doctors office and had him checked for every drug including an alcohol test. ALL NEGATIVE! which I knew it would come back negative. He was told he would get a call from the post office...which never happened. He emailed all the results to whoever his contact was and still never heard back. He was supposed to take the driving test tomorrow and they blew his chance of working for the USPS under false claims of being "impaired". read more

A lot of post offices are like this one. Many post offices are very similar. Nothing out of the ordinary and the team here provided decent service. I travel a lot for work and this one did the trick. All in all, a decent place to do your postal business. read more

Just your typical, run-of-the-mill post office, really. I was relieved to see they have a digital checkout kiosk. I only wish the boomers of New England knew how to operate this thing, so I wouldn't have to wait in line for a century just to buy one stamp. But, I digress. The main line, on the other hand, looked like it hadn't budged an inch in ages. This is why I always try to avoid going to the mainline for anything. Now that I think about it, I really hope I don't need to do this to get my next mailbox key. Ah, well...I'll jump off that bridge whenever I come to it. Another thing I appreciate about this location is that it's easy to get to and park in. Earlier, I was searching for a different post office somewhere in the midst of downtown, but never ended up finding it. It's just as well, too. I have been using this post office for a PO Box since moving to New Hampshire 3 years ago. The parking lot has enough spaces to accommodate customers even during the holiday and tax season and the walk is is maintained during the winter. Best part for me is that the PO Box lobby is available 24/7 and has an automated postage center. The staff at the desk is top notch. They take time with each customer to make sure all needs are met. I went in this winter to mail a care package to cousin serving in Afghanistan. They took the time with me to make sure I had the proper forms completed and address marked clearly. read more

The only post office around Manchester open past 5PM. It's a bit out of the way, but there's a large parking lot and it's close to the mall/shopping areas. Depending on how busy they are, there may be a bit of a wait, but it's usually not too bad. Did I mention it's open past 5PM?! read more

This is a big post office location for New Hampshire. They have two self checkout stations that are open around the clock and even a passport station just for getting passports. Usually staffed with between 5-6 tellers this is by far the easiest and most convenient post office I have been to. read more

Absolutely awful 2 day shipping it's been a week go to FedEx ups not worth it it's a rip off

I came in to get help but instead get scolded by the clerk. I ship hundreds of packages a month with no issue but once in awhile labels do not print right(human error) I come here to get help with issues not get scolded in front of everyone like i am 5 years old. I just tried to renew a passport. I showed my paperwork to an employee when I walked in the door and explained why I was there, I was directed to wait in line. An hour an a half later, I was called into a room with only 2 workers (I was told 8 or 9 were helping given the line). I was then informed that I still needed a birth certificate even for renewal. It would have saved me and the people behind me a BUNCH of time to have accurate information from the beginning. Please have informed employees giving instructions to patrons. read more
