I'm a Malibu resident and I used to go to the post office across the street from my house and Maria was always nice and wonderful. Now they have this new lady who's always rude with customers and always on her earphones talking while we are waiting to be attendant. Now I rather drive 10 minutes to other locations in Malibu then deal with her. read more

This is the best post office! I've been going to this post office for over 5 years. Everyday Maria & Sharon greet you with a smile. They are both extremely courteous and on point with their work. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful post office in my town. I also sell quite a bit on Ebay and they always make it so easy for me. I feel weird reviewing a post office, but I feel like my claim of this being my favorite post office EVER warrants the rating. The ladies here are all very sweet and personable (Sharon, Joan, Maria, & Jane). They never rush you and are more than happy to answer your questions. I'm usually in and out within a reasonable amount of time, given that they're only granted with two windows. They recently also shrunk space-wise to accommodate the UPS store that's nestled right in the corner. I always have a great experience here (including when I had to individually ship over 100 large packets all to different addresses during the holidays). Great service and great people! read more

I swear that everything is better in Malibu. I have been to many post offices as I have an EBay store and I am always shipping out packages. I have tried many post offices in the area and now that I live in Malibu I use this one. The workers are always cheerful and super helpful. read more

For your basics - stamps, tape, packaging, etc., this post office will get the job done. For any PROBLEM you have, don't expect anything except a lot of attitude from the ladies who work here. Long story short, my package got lost and the asian lady said she "didn't have time" to look up my tracking number. The ladies acted like everything was my fault and were very short with me. Um. Your job entails helping people with their mail. That's it. If you're not even willing to do that, then why do you bother waking up in the morning? Moral of the story: I will never be giving this post office branch another cent of business. read more

Worst service and the Post Master does not manage or return calls!! Leave package out by the road where it can be stolen rather than do the job they are paid for, read more

I have always had friendly service here, but the wait time is typically long due to only 1 or 2 workers at a time. The space is very small and not set up well as the waiting line forms where the prep table is (the table for you to prepare your packages). There are also two prep tables outside the main area, but they never have pens. The pricing list is also only right where the workers are, so you have to stand in the middle of the room, between the workers and the waiting line, to see the prices. read more

Today I had what can only be explained as a completely surreal Post Office experience. As I was walking into the post office from the parking lot I am confronted with nutbag Garey Busey as he jumps around waving wildly at a passing firetruck shouting words of encouragement in a way which can only be expressed as, "glee". Too bad his face is melting off cause he is insane in a way that makes me hot! Anyways, I pass him and enter the line when flipping freak show Angelyne! shows up and cuts in front of everyone demanding help. Although she was unaware of the situation, she really needed help for the fact that she still doesn't know that she is the undead and someone needs to decapitate her. Fucking insane. I love this post office cause I never come here and simply deal with mail related shit--everyone here is super crazy, famous crazy & that is the sort of crazy that is worth watching. read more

Simply the worst. I use the USPS only when absolutely necessary, and when I've used this location, I've had a problem about 70% of the time. Lost mail, damaged goods, failed deliveries, and having the clerk key in the wrong zip code, which has prevented important packages from reaching their destination. There is no supervision here and no attempt to improve abysmal customer service. Avoid Sharon at all costs. She has personally cost me enormous amounts of time and money. The Malibu location is the worst place to ship items. The Asian female clerk tries to send your packages for the highest amount possible when the customer clearly wants to ship the cheapest route. Tried to box both packages and send for $22 when they were all items that are small enough for flat rate envelopes. She finally changes them to the envelopes after much hassle (and after telling me my first class pre-packaged at home items have to go Priority). Worst experience ever. Do not ship here! I ship the same exact items in two envelope packages from USPS in Calabasas for $6.40, and at Malibu location today, because of the lady's insisting manner, they were shipped for $13.90. Use Calabasas or other surrounding locations that actually help their customers. You won't get anything here but close-minded attitude. read more

I made this comment just to leave this review because today was the last day to visit my favorite usps store as I am moving to a different state. Ive been coming here for about 5 years now and have really developed a nice friendship with those that work here. They are very sweet, kind, and helpful. I have never had a bad experience. And although theres been many times where I had to ship out over 50 packages at a time, they are always patient with me and I really appreciate that. To the guy that said the clerk made him lose enormous amounts of money by lost mail, damaged goods and failed deliveries, that actually has nothing to do with the clerk. Those all happen when out for delivery. And is it so hard to check your receipt to double check the zipcode? Humans make mistakes. Anyways, Thank you ladies for the 5 years you took great care of me and my packages! You will surely be missed! read more
