They now offered the owner Peter Kwong $100 a year instead of their regular contract. This is likely the only CPU that accepted such a ridiculous offer but Peter wanted to keep it open for the community, especially the elders that need this service. Peter has been operating at a loss for the last 26 year but now he will really be bleeding red. The workers need their job and the community needs this USPS. I know there has been comments about their service but please give grace to the older worker and please support its cause. This should not have been an issue. However, the clerk told me I could not tap my debit card and that I needed the physical card. If this is truly a "new" policy, it's clearly not being communicated consistently or professionally. It completely defeats the purpose of having a debit card stored securely on my phone if I'm suddenly not allowed to use it--especially when I wasn't attempting anything unsafe or unusual. I wasn't bypassing a PIN or doing anything improper. The lack of consistency, poor explanation, and unhelpful attitude made a simple transaction unnecessarily stressful. I recently needed to have my computer I had left at a distant airport. I searched and searched for a courier that could pick up the computer from an LAX Bradley ticket counter, then get it packaged and sent to me. I must have called a dozen or more couriers all who gave me a quick "no". I had a recent stroke and dreaded the thought of getting wheel chair service at my home airport and changing terminals at LAX and back. They were the one making the delivery of my flowers (after 4 days) to a wrong apartment. Very unprofessional very dumb the deliverer never called me even though has my phone number in the order. The flower were for Mother's Day that I supposed to receive on Sunday and only on Wednesday they delivered it to the wrong person. The people received the package of course they opened it and said the flowers were dead already. This is so bad and unacceptable. read more
