It was great because they came in an hour , however I should have had it overnighted. I thought the courier would be more professionally dressed ,but he came in a T-shirt and jeans. Used Gofer It! for the first time today and I'm very impressed. I used their Rush (2 - 4 hours) service to deliver a time-sensitive parcel. It took me about 5 minutes to sign up for an account, and I immediately scheduled a delivery at 11:13 am. I realize that there are delays in deliveries due to Covid, and Gofer It!'s website makes that abundantly clear...but here's the crazy part: 8 minutes later I received a dispatch notification and 20 minutes after that the driver was knocking at my door to pick up the package! My package was safely delivered to its location in under 2 hours and they provided delivery notes as to who signed for the package and when. My business is small and it hasn't made any sense to sign up for a permanent courier service. Gofer It! will be my go-to from now on! read more

The customer service is outstanding - they have accommodated pickups near and far, at any day or the week or time of day. I stoopidly left my phone at a friend's place in Hermosa Beach on Sunday and needed it for work in Santa Monica Monday morning. Gofer It! generated an IMMEDIATE automated online quote (all the others have delays of hours to even get back to you - don't even waste time looking at their sites), then they picked up and dropped off within two hours of making the booking. For a little under $56 bucks, it would have cost me more to Uber it there and back, not to mention the waste of my own time sitting in two hours in traffic. I called to schedule a pick up service and was able to speak to Kari, who was such a sweetheart. She literally stayed on the line with me while I managed to input all my data (although I did do it wrong :( ! ) Even though I did do things wrong she fixed my mistakes right away. Then later I got an email letting me know that someone was on their way to pick up the shipment. 5 Mins later he was here with a big smile on his face. What can I say and how loud can I say it? The most professional, dedicated, respectful, efficient service-oriented company that I have ever worked with. Service rendered: Delivery of house keys with the quickest option available. I ordered service during the weekend for a Monday morning pick-up. I had to find a way to get my house keys to a friend before I left for an extended work trip; our schedules didn't match up for a simple hand-off in person. Pros: 1) The process from start to finish was remarkably easy and streamlined. I was never confused about how to proceed with the order, which is good considering I had never used Gofer It before. 2) The email notifications were very useful in keeping me informed as the pick-up and delivery legs were in progress. 3) The recipient received it with no problems whatsoever. I'm sure that it helped that the recipient was less than five miles away from where my keys were picked up. Cons: 1) The one-hour pick-up window was not honored, but I got an email with an updated pick-up time. The delivery was done much more quickly, though. This doesn't bring my rating down because all that mattered was that it got to the recipient before the close of business that day. Summary: The item that needed to be delivered was small enough not to cause any extra concerns or issues. I would definitely use them for small items and/or documents, and I would definitely look at Gofer It first if I ever needed something bulky to go from point A to B in the Los Angeles area. read more

I recently used them to deliver fragile personalized cookies to two clients, one of which was all the way in Santa Clarita, and they arrived to pickup within 30 minutes of me placing my order. Our company needed 10 rented tuxedos picked up from a shop in Lakewood and delivered to the Renaissance Long Beach hotel (and then returned). First, the service and price was unbelievably exceptional. Loved that I received text messages when the tuxedos were picked up and when they were delivered. Exactly on time. BUT what really was amazing is that before the tuxedos were to be picked up from the hotel, a Gofer It representative telephoned the hotel to make sure all 10 tuxedos were returned (after our formal event). Then the rep called me to report only 3 of the 10 were returned. WOW, I was so busy working a conference, I hadn't followed up, but Gofer It did!!! OMG. On my last delivery, I wasn't expecting the delivery to get to the business before the buisness closed, and just needed it to be there when they opened. I was having a hard drive delivered and when I got an email telling me that the driver got stuck in traffic, delaying the delivery (it ended up only being a 30 min delay), I expected my hard drive to simply be dropped in the mail-slot. When the driver couldn't reach anyone at the destination, Noah instructed him not to drop the HD in the mail-slot because it might get damaged. Instead, the driver dropped it off with Noah (who happens to live close to the destination), who called me to update me on the happenings, ensure me that my hard drive was safe and that he would deliver it to the business himself right when they open the next day. When has any delivery company ever taken that much effort to deliver your package safely? Who have you met that cares about their customers that much? I used this service for the first time today as I needed an urgent pickup in the Wilshire area and delivery to my home in the San Gabriel Valley by the EOB today. It was pouring rain so there was no way I would have been able to get there and back in time. Gofer It! warned on its website of "substantial delays" because of the rain, but I placed the order as an "ASAP" two-hour job anyway and guess what? They still delivered within about two hours! The $25 charge, plus $1.50 for gas, was more than reasonable. I would definitely use them again. read more

Not only did I receive what I asked for a full 4 hour earlier than anticipated, but the price was very reasonable (considering the fact that what I was requesting courier service for was in the SFV area during a work week at rush hour traffic time). I haven't needed a messenger service in years. But I needed one 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I found Goferit on Yelp, and placed my first order on line. I was impressed when I received emails letting me know that my delivery was picked up (on time) and delivered. Then I got a thank you email from Noah, presumably the owner. That was fantastic, this impersonal, online experience (that was efficiently executed) made personal by this email, which was no-doubt automatically generated, and yet, comforting to know that I now have the name and number of the guy in charge. Yesterday's order topped it off. I had over 20 large boxed to be delivered to 4 separate hotels in Anaheim (Most Disney Properties), from LA. Noah worked with me to set up a solution that would serve my purposes and not break my bank. Given the various security delays at these hotels, the boxes took the better part of the day to deliver. The packages need to be handled carefully and not thrown around as many are fragile. I contacted Noah at Gofer It after reading the reviews on yelp but wasn't optimistic that they would be able to help us because we are in Orange County, not Los Angeles. I was so impressed with his incredible "can do" attitude. I was looking for an affordable but RELIABLE way to get the package delivery done because my employee was unable to do the transporting any longer. All I can say is how impressed I am with the great service, the care which the couriers show to our packages and most of all, the concern Noah has shown for our business. In fact, his service is so great, we do not plan on having an employee perform this function---it is now officially "outsourced". Oh man, was Noah a lifesaver. I was applying for a scholarship to a writing program and it was the night before the deadline. I was at dinner with my boyfriend talking through my essays when I admitted that I had no idea how I was going to get the application into the office in time. I had to fly back to New York the next morning at 7am and the deadline was at 5pm. Look, I'm not the most well-planned person OK! It was hard enough to fill out all those financial forms and get two people to vouch for me for the reference letters. Plus write essays of my own. What do they think I am, a miracle worker? And in a week's time? You might ask me why on earth I only left a week to do my application but that, my fellow yelpers, is not the point. The point is that the application was done by Thursday night and the only last thing to do was get the folder there. So I called Noah with my fingers crossed. We did a quick quote over the phone together using the forms on their site. I was ready to pay almost anything to make sure I could submit on time. But the fee was $25 for a morning pick up from Silver Lake to over on the west side with a pretty solid guarantee that the driver would get the forms over by 5pm. When did they actually arrive? At 9:30am. Before I even boarded my flight. The one thing I wanted to mention is that for whatever reason I didn't get those confirmation emails that other people mention here. Maybe my spam folder? Who knows, it doesn't really matter. It was more that I wanted to be sure about the pick-up because I had to leave the package unattended on my front porch. But Noah was so nice about the neurotic email I sent to check about the pick up and even wished me luck in school. That's pretty much as nice as someone can get. read more
