I have used Action Messenger for over 15 years and have been very satisfied with their service. Their messengers are professional and polite. Art, the owner, is wonderful and always willing to help me with my messenger service needs. read more

Outstanding courier service! I repeatedly go to Action Messenger Service for all of my pickup and delivery needs because their ENTIRE team is professional, efficient, and kind. They really go above and beyond to make sure your experience is A++ start to finish. Every delivery I have sent or received arrived perfectly and exceeded expectation in timing. Their pricing is always reasonable too. I highly recommend Action Messenger Service! read more

I recently used Action Messenger Service to deliver some packages, and it was a complete letdown. I was charged for a van, despite my items--a couple of boxes--easily fitting in a car. It obviously was a blatant upcharge. Then, they tacked on an outrageous weight fee, claiming my boxes were heavier than they were. I weighed them myself at home--under 20 pounds total! It's like they pulled the number out of thin air to pad the bill. The whole experience left a sour taste. There is no customer service to complain to. I've used other delivery services before, and honestly, any of them would've been better--faster, cheaper, and less shady. Save yourself the headache and avoid Action Messenger Service. They're clearly more interested in squeezing you for extra fees than providing decent service. Read all the negative reviews as they are more accurate of services provided read more

Arch is awesome and so is the rest of the staff. This is my second time I used Action to deliver precious cargo to a couple of angels in my life. They followed my directions, not too pricey and it was delivered on time amongst the holiday chaos! I was about to use FedEx but I thought nahh Action does it the best! read more

Im so happy with Action Messenger Service. They delivered a box for me the same day. They were reasonably priced, they were professional and fast service. They delivered under an hour. Definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a messenger service. read more

Our company has used Action for a few years now. They are always helpful and do their best to meet your schedule. I appreciate that on a super busy day like the Oscars, they are honest about what they can or cannot do. They have economy, regular and priority service and their messengers always have a good attitude. They can be expensive with larger heavy loads. read more

I've decided after many years of using AMS to give this review. My office normally calls and gets the service but I decided today to call and have them pick up a package (small) from my house this time. All I can say is "Action" is the perfect name for this company... Amazed, I didn't order the quick delivery, but I swear, (which I hate doing) the package arrived within 20 minutes from door to the other person's door. Overall - the gent that showed up was very nice, and when I phoned, they paid attention to the details, and voila, everything was done! I recommend Action to anyone needing local courier service.. read more

Awesome. Super responsive super reliable always pick up the phone super quickly. Extremely friendly couriers!

This guy took my package and said he dropped it off with some Ms. X, my guest never got her gift so I called them again. Then they said oh it was left outside her house this time. Then the guy has the audacity to go back and drop off some random sunglasses and tell my guest that this was the gift that was originally being sent. She obviously called to confirm and had to tell her no. What a nightmare and so embarrassing. read more

Action Messenger is awesome, I use them all the time, and they consistently deliver my items as promised. The guys have always been helpful and I don't have any complaints on the service they offer. Thanks Action! Dan read more

On 3 different occasions we have had items mysteriously "disappear" from our deliveries from Action Messenger. The supervisor Ryan was completely unapologetic and without remorse for our situation - we needed the items the next day for photo shoot. The driver took 2 hrs. to get from downtown to Hollywood with a "drop off" even though his van only had our stuff in it - the worst feeling of all was they didn't pretend to care about it! We're taking our business elsewhere. Only writing up to warn others - not trustworthy! read more

These guys are LIFESAVERS. My office needed same day delivery on package to be picked up in Los Angeles and dropped off in Laguna Niguel, and Action Messenger Service committed to doing it in less time and for a lower fee than any of their competitors. Couldn't be better. Thanks! read more

10/10 would recommend. I worked with both Gabe and Miles in the same day and they were excellent troopers as we had way more to move than they were informed about. Miles even personally delivered items to our studio that we had forgotten in his truck. Thank you! read more

I have been using Action Messenger for several years. My sister probably for even more years and almost daily. I can't even describe to you how good this team of people are. From the owner Art to all the men and women that work for him this company should go national that is how good they are. Of course I have used them for the typical things. Going to as store or dropping off a letter or important paperwork to someone. My sister turned me on to them. She uses them constantly as well. Here is where they really shine. They will not say no. I needed help with my storage units moving things in and out. They helped better than an mover I have ever hired. They are smart, kind and work with integrity. I think they work with so many people in Los Angeles but they have a way of making you feel like you are their most important client. That says a lot to me. My dear father who passed away know over 20 years ago would have loved Art and this company. They live their values. Just a pure pleasure to work with them. read more

I have seen some shady business practices and sadly these guys fit in. The drivers are rude and don't care about other people's property. I came out and found a van parked next to my car real close. Upon further inspection I see a huge dent in my car. White paint and fresh I ask the driver why he hit my car. He pretended like he didn't know but after I showed him how his passenger door met perfectly with the damage. He got crass and admitted that he was wrong. Now it's been almost four months and they still haven't got back to me so it's off to filing a claim. read more

My review is an average between the service from the woman in customer service (0 stars) and the driver that picked up the items (5 stars). I didn't want to round up to 3 since the woman in customer service really deserves a negative 2 star review. I needed a last minute courier and my go to courier wasn't available so I found Action Messenger through Yelp. I'm glad I was able to get some help but I don't think I'll use Action again based on the bad attitude of the customer service rep that answers the calls. If you don't mind dealing with no personality customer service people this is your place. read more

DO NOT TRUST THEIR DRIVERS!!!! This is a long overdue review but needed to be done. I had bought shipping service from Greyhound and they contracted with AMS to pick up my large storage bins to take to a Greyhound Station. The driver was 2 hrs late, but that was fine since I needed to box more things up. His name was Jarareo, just in case it matters. I asked if I wanted to add more boxes, if it would cost more since I already paid for the pickup, he said no. So I added those boxes. Greyhound would later charge me more. I helped the driver load up the van and gave him a tip of $20. I had a few more boxes to ship, so a few hours later, I took them to the GreyHound bus station. I was surprised to see my boxes still there since they were scheduled to go out on the morning bus. I asked the clerk, and she said she's glad I came by because she couldn't ship the items as they were because they were OPEN! She said she brought it up with the said deliver guy, but he was in a rush to leave and wouldn't answer her questions or assist her. I check my belongings and yes, they were valuable things missing. Over $1000 worth. It didn't take Sherlock Homes to figure out what happened. The Greyhound office was in plane site of the public and there were tons of police around who regularly visited with the greyhound clerk, who was a small lady. So, it wasn't the Greyhound employee who went through my things. The parking lot where the deliver van would have had to park due to construction was the same area I had to park and it was secluded. And based on the time stamps of when the items were dropped off, it was more than an hour from when the items were picked up. I lived 10 mins from station and the van was full. 2+2? I contacted the manager at AMS and let him know what had happened. He said he couldn't do anything unless I had proof...meaning video, eyewitness etc. I filed a police report and such...but lesson learned. read more

Called Action Messenger Service for the first time today. The phone service was excellent and they picked up my business cards from the printers and delivered them to us with in 3 hours. We did not ask for a rush service so the timing was great. Paid $32 =) read more

Called, asked about if they could ship state to state, they said Yes, i asked if they could do 24 hours, they said No, i asked how late they could accept packages, guy said "You have to have an account with us", and then i would have proceeded to go forward, and he hung up. Maybe it was a mistake? It seemed weird... he seemed grumpy tho. But i called back, and they picked up and hung up right away. WTF? Have no idea why they would do that unless they are running a criminal business or the guy answering wanted to sabotage his own biz. Either way, blurg. read more

Great company! Packages always delivered on time!

These guys are the worst. I called to request a pick up and delivery and the guy on the line was so rude and has no business answering the phone. read more

Rhoda rocks! I've used Action messenger for years - they are cheaper than Fed Ex, and FAST!

Polite and affordable service. No size restriction. No account no problem. They take payment over the phone. I love this guys.

All around great company. Extremely fast and reasonable rates. I would definitely use their service again.

Saw the review that mentioned supervisor 'Ryan' No one by that name has worked at Action Messenger in the 10 years I've known the company. Odd really that this is the only 'bad' review on here! read more

I was working for action messenger last year its a bad company , my assignment was to deliver packages for amazon . Action messenger gave me two of the worst trainers and when I asked to have one more day of training they fired me . The first guy that was going to train me took me to his house to eat for 4 hrs (estimate) and didnt teach me how to deliver . The second trainer was being lazy instead she had me driving for her from 8am to 9pm .Didnt teach me anything .The worst part the 2 rides alongs you only get paid 100 dollars flat and it doesnt matter if you do over time youll be making 100 each day for those 2 ride alongs , so the day I worked from 8 am to 9 pm I only made 100 dollars worst company. read more

I have a client who has sent these folks over to me a few times now. I'm not sure the gentleman's name but driver 591 is awesome. Vibrant personalities rock! read more

Terrible Experience. I paid extra for the "Exclusive" service, which means your package is supposed to go directly from you to your destination. My destination was 20-30 minutes away. After an hour passed with no delivery, I called Action and was told that the messenger might have had some other stops along the way. They did not seem to care that I had paid for rush service. It took almost 2 hours to arrive. Oh, and I even confirmed with the driver in person that this was going direct and he clearly lied to my face. A JOKE. read more

I had a very tough situation because I am based in Portland and needed a pallet of goods re-packed and re-delivered in the Los Angeles area. It was a unusual, complicated situation, yet the team at Action Messenger just took it in stride and provided phenomenal service. Really bad customer Services. Asking for a rate, I had to get yell first by some one on the phone. Asking for conformation of the delivery, got yell at again. Not letting us finish our sentences when we spoke and expect us to heard what they said and said Oh my Gosh to me. I'm taking my business else where. Not going to recommend it to anyone else. OMG! We were desperate for a competent delivery service during Oscar week. These people are amazing. I liked that they were honest and said it would take more time than usual. It was crunch time for us. On 3 occasions they came through in record time. They obviously are very familiar with delivery procedures for an event such as the Oscars. There were two ladies that kept helping me and even though I was a wreck, they were steady and calm and made sure all they got all the info they needed from me. I'm just amazed and so grateful. My company we'll use them whenever we need a delivery service. Oh, and we need some food delivery and they did that too and waited while the place that messed up our food order fixed it. Prices are fair and reasonable for the service . read more
